Chapter 682: Chapter 682: A Bully In Heaven, A Bully In Earth

Memphis stood behind Emperor Zain with her hands behind her back and her chin raised slightly.

Her golden eyes stared down at Emperor Zain, filled with expectations for the best and the worst.

"You know I have generals right?" Emperor Zain said.

Memphis nodded, "Generals strategize for the battle, we strategize for the war. Your generals cannot see the big picture the way you and I do.

They mostly do their things for the sake of honor, survival, or resources. Our cause is not far off, but it’s much grander.

Do you understand how I have described it, Emperor Zain?" Memphis asked.

Emperor Zain pressed his lips together.

"You said something about the Primordial League," Emperor Zain purposely ignored the question. He was an immortal for heaven’s sake, even if he couldn’t admit that Kael’s simple strategy was actually reasonable, he wasn’t going to openly show willingness to test it out.

"Yes, a new universal order where the League of Primordials shall be the governing body of the universe.

Although we have few members, we are currently working on ensuring that all of us reach full embodiment," Memphis said.

Emperor Zain squinted his eyes, "Really?" He asked, genuinely curious.

"What, you want to join?" Memphis asked with a smile.

"Nope, I know that all that is just your excuse to have loyal Primordials at your beck and call.

President Musty has done the same."

"Oh well, you’re not going to reach full embodiment if you don’t eliminate all your obstacles.

As far as I know, there should be no other Primordial of Creation anywhere else besides you at this point.

If there was, you would have sensed it and would have already been busy searching for it.

So, that means you need something else to push you closer to full embodiment of the Law of Creation.

You need the whole Draconic Heaven. You need the Draconic Heaven to be saturated with the silver glow of a silver sky.

You need it to anchor you to the reality you desire so that you can launch yourself there.

Am I wrong?"

Emperor Zain smiled, "No, you’re not.

But let us focus on eliminating our enemies first.

All-King, I mean no insult, truly, but I think that you should increase your personal strength before continuing such a conversation with me."

Emperor Zain was ruthless with his advice. But he was telling the truth.

The All-King was talented in his own right. As a Primordial, Emperor Zain knew best just how special other Primordials could be.

But without sufficient individual strength, Kael was just an ant with a really loud voice.

Memphis’s smile was stiff. "Very well then," she said. "Do well to follow my strategy advice."

After that, Emperor Zain waved his hand.

A hundred meters away from him, a heavenly gate opened leading to the mortalverse.

On the other side of this heavenly gate was an outpost of the Creation Dragons in the mortalverse. This was how Memphis was able to come over without getting attacked by the Destruction Dragons.

She had come here directly.

As Memphis flew toward the portal, her golden eyes began to flicker as the separate consciousness that was prevailing in her mind gradually left.

By the time she crossed the heavenly gate, Memphis’s eyes had returned back to their green color and her power level had settled firmly on the low-level immortal tier.

When everything was gone and there was no one else with Emperor Zain, he sighed.

"A bully in heaven, a bully on earth. So much is going on in this universe.

It makes one question what actually matters in all this? The things I pursue, do they even matter anymore?

A trillion years from now, what will be the point?

Just like a mortal human male chasing after a lady. Will their relationship matter in the next one hundred years when they will all likely be dead?

The children they have, does it matter?

The wealth, the status, the power.

And for us immortals, the power.

Is there any significance?

Victoria, forgive me.

Perhaps, we shall meet once again if luck permits. Then, I will be able to apologize properly.

If not, then may this final goodbye be sufficient..."

The Leonine Heaven.

Kael sat quietly on the top of Memphis’s mountain, calm as a still lake.

His golden eyes reflected the serene environment of his vicinity.

His metal jaws were clenched beneath his incredibly tough flesh.

He thought about the words of Emperor Zain for a little while before resuming his usual train of thought.

Not long after, a Heavenly Gate opened next to Kael and Memphis stepped out.

She had a calm expression on her face. The kind of expression one would have when they were supremely confident about who was behind them.

She was stronger than Kael by many margins but the fact that Kael guided her actions brought her a certain kind of peace.

From allowing her to pick Ozia as her student, to assisting her in reaching Immortal tier and now allowing her to stand before mighty entities to have a not-so-casual discussion.

Even after learning about the enemies that the lions had, Memphis was not discouraged. Rather, her blood boiled and she had to suppress the intrusive thoughts in her mind.

She had never known why the idea of someone resisting their might got them so excited.

What next?

She asked herself as she looked at Kael.

She was eager to listen to the next words that would come out from Kael’s mind as that was the reflection of the All-King’s state of mind.

It was so exciting.

The Original Heaven.

The enemies.

The other heavens are waiting to be conquered.

The Primordials scattered everywhere.

The conflict of the dragons.

The Highest Will.

The universe was full of surprises. And although lions were not fond of surprises, they would welcome these ones with open arms.

"All-King, what next?" Memphis asked.

Suddenly, Memphis did something surprising.

She dropped down to one knee and bowed her head at Kael.

This was an act to show her full acceptance of Kael’s domination over her. She accepted it, she wanted it.

Kael smiled, "Easy Memphis, you heard the emperor.

I’ll evolve first."

"Splendid decision, All-King," Memphis nodded her head quickly, "Do you need my help with anything?"

Kael thought for a moment and nodded his head, "Not really. I just need you to spread the news subtly that I was the one who helped you enter the immortal tier.

Also, I want a strange narrative to fill the networks of the universe from now on. There should be a rumor about an organization called the League of Primordials.

There should be a narrative around the league of primordials that wish to help all their members reach full embodiment and support them with resources to get stronger.

This is a marketing campaign, an advertisement to attract them all.

We can’t simply rely on those bachelor lionesses to keep on searching. Although their search should soon be showing exponential results.

I need the Primordials coming to me," Kael said.

He had noticed the look of interest in Emperor Zain’s face when he talked about the League of Primordials.

His logic was that if it could interest Emperor Zain a little bit, it would definitely attract the undivided attention of the other Primordials out there who are hearing about the deeds of the lions but haven’t yet made a decision to join.

Kael even wished that some of President Musty’s Primordial subordinates would betray him but that was not likely. They had all signed loyalty contracts.

Speaking of which, the Primordial Hyena and the Primordial Swordfish, Shuri and Ren respectively, were still in captivity in the Leonine Heaven.

President Musty must already know that his two Primordials are missing, and Seth must have told him the news.

However, President Musty couldn’t do anything about it for now as he was allegedly preparing the dragons for a devastating attack.

"It will be done," Memphis said and prepared to leave.

Just as she left, Kael’s eyes began to glow fiercely. It was time he made that final push.

The final stage of mortality. 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂

His blonde hair shot up,. carried by his rising aura. He gritted his teeth harshly and fought through the pain.

His body began to shift and change, reaching a new level of perfection in the context of Lionhood.

Before he could fully assume his golden lion form, his body was fully enveloped by the golden aura that rose to the sky like a heavenly pillar.

The atmosphere went still and the universe seemed to groan in protest.

The tangible power leaking out of Kael right now was so heavy that he became the new center of gravity on the whole continent.

Once again, multiple illusory figures came out of the pillar of golden essence, each a manifestation of the memories of the previous Primordial Lions.

They looked down at the All-King, their eyes absent of any individual will besides the one that Kael gave them.

And then, the sound of glass shattering resounded across the realm.
