Jonah’s legs were starting to shake now. He couldn’t believe what he was experiencing.

How could this be possible? How could a martial artist that awakened his ability a few days ago be this powerful?

He was starting to doubt if Jonathan truly did awaken his ability six days ago.

With the way he saw it, Jonathan might have been an awakener for years now.

Although Jonah was assessing those words in his head, he sensed Jonathan energy when Jonathan moved past him and he could tell that Jonathan was at the third stage of his magical path, however what he had just witnessed was something that would only be possible for somebody who was at least at the fifth stage of his magical path or at the six stage.

Jonathan killed all three abilities users who were at their third stage of their magical path without a scratch on his side.

That was simply impossible!

The Summoner eyebrows pushed down to his eyes as he glared at Jonathan.

"I thought you guys said that he awakened his ability a few days ago. How could he be this strong."

The Summoner remembered when Jonathan brought him to the ground with an E ranked skill that day.

’This bastard never went through his awakening that day.’

He sounded angry in his mind as he faced Jonathan.

"I have killed three of you already, that means there are only three of you left, but I thought a task force team comprises seven people, how come you are only five here."

Jonathan wondered if Jonah had people on the outside. It would be best for him to know so he could kill them as well.

He has to keep his cover clean.

Jonah hesitated before he responded to Jonathan’s words.

"What does it matter if we are just five here, are you afraid that you might be in trouble once you come out of this place."

Jonah regained his confidence and continued.

"What if I tell you that I could call those two right now, and they will arrive here with backups. Would you be able to stop us then? I doubt if you would be able to go up against another three excellent fighters."

Jonah cheeks moved and he moved his telecommunication wristwatch close to his mouth region.

"I could make a call right now to the two men missing here and I will inform them that you went rogue and killed everyone. How would that feel like Jonathan Hayes?

You will be hunted by your country Dreamway and you will be hunted by Alphacrest as well, so you see, you made a big mistake even killing someone here.

You should do what the Summoner said, go on your knees and beg for mercy."

Jonah was unsure if he would be able to take Jonathan on. He was merely at stage four on his magical path, and Jonathan seemed to be at the fifth stage or something.

The fight would definitely be deadly and he might lose a part of his body, especially with the way Jonathan fights.

He might lose one of his hands, and he didn’t want that.

If there was a way he could outsmart Jonathan and catch him off guard, he would gladly do it.

This was a battlefield, there was nothing like fair play in the dictionary. In fact, fair play was developed to help weak kids win, suppressing the real strong kids.

There was silence for a while before Jonathan voiced out.

"I don’t believe you have aids outside of this place. First, you are sounding like you knew I would be coming and so you perfectly arranged this setup, and second, you are sounding like you already know that I would be this strong.

you don’t know any of these two things that I just mentioned so you have no plans to counter any of it. I don’t know why you are five but like you said, accidents could happen."

Jonah’s eyes became deadly when Jonathan said that.

Jonathan demonstrated with his hands as he continued.

"I believe you don’t have aid outside. The only thing you can do now is connect to the headquarters, it would’ve been this current base but you have destroyed it, so connecting to the headquarters would take up to a minute, and I wouldn’t just be sitting around while you do that.

You will be dead before the call even goes through. This takes us back to what I said from the beginning. Your biggest mistake was bringing me here immediately without getting to know what I am capable of doing.

You exposed yourself too early."

Several lines appeared on Jonah’s face then. Jonathan words just boldly stated that he was a scared chicken and he would die if he decided to fight with Jonathan now.

’What a disgrace’

Jonah energy erupted from his body then.

"You actually think that you will be able to kill me.

What makes you think that would be so easy?"

Jonathan responded casually to Jonah.

"I don’t know about that, but Good always wins against evil, and if I am ever going to have problems it wouldn’t be with a mere task force team."

Jonathan’s tone changed at once and he started to approach Jonah and the rest. His aura was immediately felt by Jonah and the rest.

"The people I want to kill are at the top, they are the four governing leaders of Dreamway. In other words, a task force team can never be my problem so I am confident that I will be able to kill all of you, and I should be able to do that without getting a single scratch on my uniform, because that would slow me down."

Jonathan’s words were irritating to Jonah, including the Summoner.

The remaining person on Jonah’s team stepped closer to Jonah then. She brought her katana out as she faced Jonathan.

"I never liked this boy that day. I always felt that Greyson was lying about what really went down, and now we can all see the reason why he said you were the top performance on the battlefield."

The stage four Summoner also stepped closer to Jonah.

"That is some bold words you are spouting out, and you have been mentioning the taskforce from the beginning. It seems you have forgotten that I am also here.

I doubt if you would be able to take me on, let alone all three of us."

Jonathan’s eyebrows moved a little but his expression remained indifferent.

"I thought you wouldn’t be joining the fight, until I am done with my so-called people, but it doesn’t matter, I can put all three of you on. That wouldn’t be a problem for me."

The girl’s face twitched at that moment.

"Oh, I would like to see how you will be able to do that."

She quickly drew her katana out and smashed forward to Jonathan. Although she was at the third stage of her magical path, she was close to breaking through to the fourth stage, so she was significantly powerful and faster than the three people Jonathan had just killed.

In less than five seconds, the girl was already standing close to Jonathan with her katana reaching to cut Jonathan’s head away. The color of her katana was orange, indicating that the skill she had performed was a D ranked skill.

"Palm Strike."

"Plus one."

Jonathan blocked the girl attack with his palm. The girl’s eyebrows raised to her forehead when she saw that Jonathan was able to block her attack with a mere E ranked skill.

She had seen it before but seeing it up close was still surprising to her.

She wanted to move her katana again when Jonathan slammed her on her stomach.

"Spinning Kick!"

Jonathan said as he sent a powerful kick to the girl’s middle.

The impact smashed the girl to the wall.

BANG!

Her back slammed the wall and she fell unconsciously to the ground.

Jonah was stunned on his spot seeing Jonathan had a C ranked skill.

’How is this possible!’

Jonah couldn’t believe what he was seeing, before he could comprehend the motion, Jonathan suddenly appeared close to him.

"Body Slam: plus one"

Jonathan said as he appeared close to Jonah. He was about to move his fist to Jonah’s face when the summoner roar on his spot.

"D ranked: Bloody Serpent!!!"

"Level 5!"

The massive snake burst out from the ground and immediately zoomed to Jonathan’s standing point.

The snake was about to devour Jonathan, but Jonathan quickly slammed his fist to the snake head region.

"Glowing Burst Fist: Plus One"

Jonathan fist zoomed to the snake forehead, but the snake surprisingly evaded Jonathan attack by moving it head to another direction, and turning it back to Jonathan, causing Jonathan to be completely exposed.

Jonathan eyebrows moved seeing the snake was this intelligent. His attack wouldn’t be able to kill the snake but it would’ve create an opportunity for him to deliver a better attack, however the snake read through his movements, now he was completely exposed with the snake head currently behind him.

The Summoner lips formed a half smile then.

"Got you."

He muttered as his snake zoomed to devour Jonathan.
