The Summoner cheeks raised to his eyes as the snake moved rapidly to devour Jonathan. As a summoner he had the ability to control the animals he summoned, with a little limitations.

Since he was at the fourth stage of his magical path, he would only be able to control only a minority of all the monster he could summon at once, while the rest would have a mind of their own.

Their intelligence would be determined by the power of the Summoner. In single combat like this, summoner usually summon only one monster so they could control it properly while having the ability to attack alongside it.

He summoned the bloody serpent because he had better of it than any animal in his collection, and that was because he had used the bloody serpent more frequently than any other monster in his arsenal.

The quick movement he used to catch Jonathan was a results of his years of practice with his blood serpent.

There was no escaping it.

"Now it’s time to die!!!!"

The summoner roared as the snake opened it open widely to rip Jonathan to pieces.

Jonathan was static on his spot, not that he didn’t know what to do, he was only surprised that the snake was this intelligent, and he understood that the summoner was the one controlling it.

He already knew a summoner would be capable of controlling his summons, he was only carried away for a brief moment.

The snake movement was fast and Jonathan knew he wouldn’t be able to evade the snake attack. Since he wouldn’t be able to evade the snake attack, he decided to heightened his body defense.

The combat uniform wouldn’t be enough to withstand the attack so Jonathan muttered.

Jonathan body emitted a massive burst of orange energy as he stood firmly on his spot.

Although body slam wasn’t a defensive skill, Jonathan believed that the energy that cloaks his body whenever he performed the skill would be enough to withstand the snake attack.

The snake smashed Jonathan hard on the shoulder but it fangs couldn’t get through Jonathan uniform, it was simply impenetrable.

The Summoner was surprised that his bloody serpent couldn’t ripped Jonathan to pieces. In fact, it couldn’t even leave a scratch on the uniform Jonathan was putting on.

After a little struggle, the snake withdrew backwards, but just as it moved backwards, Jonathan appeared close to it in a flash.

The motion stunned the summoner to the bone.

’How did he move that fast!!’

The summoner sounded loudly in his mind.

Jonathan cheeks moved as he appeared inches away from the snake. While he used the body slam skill as a defense against the skill the purpose he activated the skill was to catch the snake off guard.

Jonathan was waiting for the snake to withdraw so he could use the incredible movement of body slam to catch the snake off guard.

Before the snake could think of doing anything, Jonathan took a leap and appeared spinning to the snake forehead. Jonathan legs started glowing and he delivered a super kick on the snake forehead.

The impact shook the whole surrounding and it buried the snake to the ground.

Dust covered the premises at once and the snake was seen dissipating back to waste energy.

The summoner was completely flabbergasted on his spot. Nobody had ever demolished his bloody serpent in short period of time and without a single scratch.

As Jonathan landed perfectly to the ground. Jonah appeared behind him with his hands covered with wind like energy.

"Just die already, BASTARD!!"

Jonah was filled with rage seeing Jonathan survived the scene from earlier, and thinking about his men that Jonathan had just killed, all he wanted was to rip Jonathan to pieces with his bare hands.

Just as Jonah was about to move his wind like fist to Jonathan face, Jonathan around with another spinning kick.

BANG!

The impact sent Jonah staggering backwards, he quickly gained his footing but blood was rushing out from his nostril and mouth.

"Dammit!

Goddamnit!!"

"Bastard!"

Jonah cursed loudly as he gained his footing back. Nobody had ever hit him that way before, this was the first time he was experiencing a battle with somebody of equal strength as him. All the mission he had been going were for selective purposes, never had he gone to a mission where he had to face off with people of equal status.

It was always the commoners and low life soldiers.

The thought of being hit this hard was causing Jonah rage to explode inside him and his eyes became red.

"I am going to kill you!!"

Jonah gazed forward as he was about to launch his strongest attack, but just as he gazed forward, he saw Jonathan was already standing close to him and with the same attack from earlier.

Jonathan said as he slammed Jonah on the face again, the impact once again caused Jonah to stagger backwards, but this time Jonathan didn’t wait for Jonah to gain his footing back, he simply followed suit and rampage several attacks on Jonah body.

Jonah was like a lifeless body being swayed around by people.

Jonathan stopped attacking and Jonah fell helplessly to his knees. His combat uniform was ruined completely and blood could be seen all over his eyes.

He tried to say something but he didn’t had the strength to say the words. He wanted to gather the strength, but Jonathan didn’t give him the opportunity to.

Jonathan said as he severed Jonah head to the ground.

Jonah lifeless body remained kneeling for a brief moment before it fell flat on the ground.

Seeing he had completely wiped Jonah team, Jonathan felt a little satisfaction inside. It didn’t felt like he killed his own people. It never felt that way to him one bit. To him, he just removed one of the obstacles that might helped Alphacrest to win the upcoming battle in Baytorn and that was a big win to him.

His aim was to sure that Alphacrest wouldn’t even be able to capture a single area in Dreamway, and that aim would soon be put to test.

He doesn’t know how ready he was to accomplish that height, but this was a little sign that he was ready.

"I guess it’s only you and I now."

Jonathan said as he slowly turned to face the Summoner who was behind him. His words woke the Summoner from. his shock state. He couldn’t believe that Jonathan was this powerful.

The summoner eyes trailed to all the dead bodies on the floor and his heart stiffened a little. These were people he was still planning to use for a while before dishing them away, but they were all dead with the mission still at hand and it was all because of the bastard standing close to him.

"Who do you work for."

Jonathan said as he faced the Summoner fully. Since the Taskforce were working hand by hand with the Summoner, they must be taking directives from somebody in Dreamway high commands, and he wanted to know who exactly the person was.

He could’ve asked the Jonah, Jonah would’ve given him a better insight, but there was no way he could keep Jonah alive while fighting the Summoner, anyway, the Summoner would also the high commander in Dreamway.

The Summoner was surprised when he heard Jonathan words. He woke entirely from his shock state and faced Jonathan with a frown.

"You expect me to reveal it to you, because of what. Because you killed your own people with hands.

Dreamway soldiers are weak. It wasn’t a surprise to me and none of them stood a chance against you.

bunch of weak cowards!"

The Summoner spat the floor as he said those words.

Jonathan eyebrows moved a little, but he wasn’t irritated by the Summoner words. He calmly voiced out again.

"I am asking because it would determine if I will let you go or not, and of course that is a life, so, I am asking because it would determine how I will get to kill you.

The Summoner was silent for a while but he suddenly burst out laughing.

"You have to be joking.

You think because you were able to defeat my serpent that means you can take me on."

The Summoner stopped laughing and glared at Jonathan.

"It seemed you have forgotten our first counter, where you got lucky because of your superior that was available, but now you are all alone. How would you plan to fight my most strongest monster now"

With that, the ground around the Summoner started glowing and a massive rat was seen slowly forming behind the Summoner.

"C ranked skill: Bull Rat!"

The massive rat immediately formed at that moment and it was almost reaching the ceiling of the room. The rat let out a massive scream and the whole space vibrated, and a large cracked appeared on the earth wall that was sealing the place from the outside.

Jonathan raised his head to look at the giant rat. Without a doubt it was a powerful one.
