The name of the job mirrors its capability. It was a rearguard oriented job. Aside from being able to equip guns and bows, this job had various buff, recovery skills of «Medical Camp» category, and even camp making skills. It was an all-rounder job, also capable of leading the party. And consequently, the job had many such skills complement leadership. Albeit, the role clashed with «Duke».

This was the official workaround to skip past the restriction of royals and aristocrat limit in the guild. To put it concisely, if you'd wanted «Duke» to have a vanguard job, and were left with no more space to accept a second «Duke» for their strategic jobs, «Marquis» could be used as a clutch.

And that's why the first option was unnecessary. We already had Rina.

Second—«Invincible Princess Samurai».

This job was offense oriented, as the name implied. Its special trait was crowd deleter. The job had a unique skill which strengthened the power of skills in proportion to the number of enemies. In that essence, it was invincible.

It was excellent in guild battles, though a tad worse against the boss, but in general capability, it was a good enough job which had its expertise and drawbacks. However Rika was a tank foremost, and anti-thesis to this job.

Third, and last option—«Valiant Commander Princess»."

This was the zenith of warrior jobs, one that could excel in attack or tank, as long as the holder demanded it.

The job's forte lies in its ability to resist abnormal stats through Absolute Willpower, and endurance to knockback. It was the paragon of Indomotable. The job possesses a mix of offensive, as well as defensive skill. Some of the skills had the ability to negate various buffs. So it was possible to play out as an attacker.

Then, there was 'commander' aspect. When fighting in the battle, it had some impressive skills to favour the blessing on one's side. But, that's to be revealed later. And at last, it also had a flashy unique skill like Sierra and Lana to show off.

The unique skill of «Valiant Commander Princess» was «Legion», a summon skill. When invoked, the user could summon spirits of tens of warriors to fight alongside! The duration of summon was one hour. Also, all the summoned warriors were female warriors. They're strong.

Needless to say, the 3rd option was the one I had absolutely hoped she tread on. So, I was truly glad at her answer.

"Alright then, let's not wait further! Rika, level you «Dauntless» to level 5."

"«Dauntless»? Hold on just a second."

There were quite a few requirements required to unlock «Valiant Commander Princess». Starting with special requirment—

1. Must have "Duel Lv5", "Dauntless Lv 5", "Battle Intent LV 5", and «Reveal Thy Name»—this one required no level.

2. At least two defense, and offensive, skills at level 5.

Rika already had «Parry Lv 6», «Parallel Slash Lv 5» in defense category. For offense, She had «Swallow Flip Lv 5», and «Twin Swallow Flip Lv 10». Something feel familiar? Well, Princess Warrior's unique skill could be use two way.

"And the final chesspiece—«Jewel of the Heavenly Spear»."

Jewel was the common requirement during «Advanced Job Ascension» for top ranking jobs. Ester had required the same item. It took me effort to find them, my words. Just why the spear? Was it due to their role of spearheading? But then, they don't even use spears.

The other notable condition required to clear was—"Spearhead the vanguard 300 times." Typically, this was quite a challenging setting. If Warrior Princess was played as tank—the defense skills are counted among taking the first step in vanguard—it was just a matter of time. But as an attacker, often you would want to have party's tank take the spotlight first, hence this was one was quite harder.

300 wasn't a low number either. It was quite tough to achieve even with group fights. Though, I have a hunch Rika's count had already went past 500. It was a blessing she started as a tank.

Rika touched the option, her fingers twitching due to obvious nervousness. The job screen turned complete black, leaving only the «Valiant Commander Princess» in big letters.

She had successfully acquired the new job, and that meant—a fantastical scene unfurled in the measurement room. The effect surrounded Rika, giving her a mystical presence.
