Secret Marriage, High-Profile Pampering!-Chapter 822: He Will Never Come Back Again!
After Summer Sutton moved into the hotel, she didn’t cry or make a fuss, not even shedding a single tear.
She seemed as though she hadn’t yet recovered from the accident.
The funeral arrangements were handled by Ryan Walyon and Paul Walyon. Although many people from the Walyon Family came, Diana Wood fell ill, the Old Master’s heart couldn’t bear the strain, and Summer Sutton was pregnant, so none of the three managed the affair.
After spending a few days in Northern Ireland to take care of all the funeral matters, the family brought the urn back to China and held the funeral in Northtown.
On the day of the burial, it rained in Northtown, the drops as big as beans.
Since returning to Northtown, Summer Sutton hadn’t spoken a word but attended the funeral, following Jimmy Evans and staring blankly at the urn he held, her mind still a void.
After the burial, everyone had left; without an umbrella, she stood alone before the tombstone as if she had forgotten the whole world.
The sky continued to rain; the drops splattered against her, soaking her clothes and hair, but she didn’t notice.
She stood before the tombstone for a whole day.
By evening, Jimmy Evans came looking, and seeing her exhausted and unrecognizable state, he suddenly felt a surge of anger.
"Adrian is already gone! He’s gone! Standing here for any longer won’t bring him back. For him, for the baby in your belly, even if you’re left all alone, you must live well, do you hear me?"
Gripping her shoulders, he shouted at her in a low, strained voice.
Summer Sutton remained woodenly still, allowing him to shake her, only staring emptily at the tombstone, not sure if she even heard his words.
Jimmy Evans, not caring about anything else, dragged her towards the cemetery’s exit.
"Let go of me!" Summer Sutton’s wrist struggled in his grip, her voice hoarse.
Jimmy Evans pretended not to hear her, stubbornly leading her downhill.
"Let go of me! I told you to let go of me! Didn’t you hear?" Summer Sutton struggled several times, failing to break free, and suddenly her emotions went out of control.
Raising her arms, she struck him a few times randomly, then turned and tried to walk back. Jimmy Evans’ expression darkened; he lifted her up, carried her quickly down the hill, and directly tossed her into the car.
"Drive!" He instructed the driver, his expression blank, eyes falling outside the window.
"Jimmy Evans, why do you keep interfering with me? I told you I want to go back! Do you hear me? Do you hear me?" 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
In the car, Summer Sutton continued to rant, her voice never stopping.
Jimmy Evans pretended not to hear, his face showing no expression.
Upon returning to the Walyon Family mansion, Diana Wood happened to be in the living room.
These past few days, her emotions had never settled down even for a day.
Because of the accident, she attributed all the blame to Summer Sutton.
In Diana Wood’s view, if it hadn’t been for Summer Sutton, Adrian Walyon wouldn’t have made that trip abroad.
On this day, the day of Adrian’s farewell, her anger reached its peak.
Seeing Summer Sutton return, Diana Wood’s emotions again got out of hand.
Without caring about anything else, as Summer Sutton took the first step into the house, Diana pushed her out, "Why are you back? Adrian is gone, why did you come back? You harmed him! It’s all because of you! You are the cause of all this!"
It had rained the whole day, pouring down even more heavily now.
Summer Sutton, not having rested well for a few days, and soaked by the rain all day today, found her mind at a blur at this moment.
