Secret Marriage, High-Profile Pampering!-Chapter 823: Call the Doctor
Diana Wood pushed her, and she didn’t resist at all.
Diana was still emotional, and Ryan Walyon tried to stop her, but Diana pulled him back and shouted angrily, "This is our family’s business, not yours to handle!"
When she starts acting irrationally, few can withstand it.
As she drove Summer Sutton out of the house, Diana cried, "Why did you let him go abroad? Why?"
Tears streamed down her face; her rationality had collapsed, and she was completely mad. She forgot about Summer’s current situation and directly pushed her from the living room into the garden.
The garden, which had been rained on all day, had rain-soaked pebble paths that were much slipperier than usual.
When Old Master Walyon came downstairs, Diana was still pushing Summer toward the outside.
Seeing Summer, who didn’t resist at all, Old Master’s heart sank.
"Stop..." He was about to reprimand when his face suddenly turned pale.
In the torrential rain, the ground was too slippery, and Summer was pushed by Diana, causing her to fall.
"Young Madam!" exclaimed a passing servant in the garden.
After this, the huge garden returned to a deathly silence.
On the waterlogged ground, Summer lay curled up, motionless.
Jimmy Evans was the first to react, rushing over in large strides to lift her from the ground and rush upstairs, "Call the doctor! Doctor!"
His shout was loud, spreading across the garden, audible from afar.
After that, the Walyons were busy, with the footsteps of servants echoing upstairs and downstairs without stopping.
The family doctor quickly arrived, bringing hospital instruments, performing a series of checks on Summer, and staying in the room without coming out.
The other family members were also waiting outside, their hearts collectively in turmoil.
Adrian Walyon had just encountered such a major event; the only thing left for this family was Summer’s unborn child.
If anything happened to the child, it would be another layer of pain; it wouldn’t just be Diana who collapsed, but Old Master might fall too.
Diana stood rigidly at the end of the corridor, stupidly watching the crowd waiting outside the room for the doctor’s results. Her expression was somewhat blank, as if she hadn’t yet reacted to what just happened.
Did she ruin her own grandchild?
"If anything happens to the child! If anything happens..." Old Master was evidently enraged, pointing at her angrily, his teeth grinding.
Diana covered her face with her hands, crying as she turned away, not daring to look at him again.
The door to Summer’s room remained tightly shut, only the nurses and doctors inside.
The doctor continued trying desperately to save her; at around seven o’clock, he came out and said the child hadn’t been lost, but the situation wasn’t very good.
Still, as long as the child wasn’t lost, it was the greatest relief for the Walyons.
At least, there’s still hope to preserve it, right?
At eight o’clock, the doctor came out again to announce the child was safely preserved.
The Walyons felt relieved upon hearing this, but at eight thirty, the doctor delivered bad news: Summer has a fever!
A high fever of forty degrees, and it wouldn’t go down.
Given her current condition, with the child being so unstable, she couldn’t take any medication, further alarming the Walyon Family.
The whole night, the Walyon House was brightly lit; apart from Bryce Walyon, nobody went to sleep.
A group of people waited outside the room, as anxious as ants on a hot pan.
