Chapter 484: Chapter 482: NOLAN

Kisha was always all over the country doing this and that. And for villa number 2, the doctors she had never seen them at all. So, it wouldn’t be unusual if villa number 1 owner was that available.

After all, when she first arrived, she heard from Cecelia about how mysterious the owner was. To think that the owner was this handsome and beautiful young man, Nolan.

The beautiful person who made her doubt herself the other morning when she was jogging at the complex.

He was in the car, in the backseat, and she saw him briefly, but she never forgot that moment forever.

Because that face remained on her mind, when she was going to have breakfast early that day, and bumped into him, her reaction was way too exaggerated.

What was even crazier was how he called her by name. And that was how the two of them got acquainted.

She had seen him briefly but wasn’t really sure if that was him, but Nolan knew her pretty well.

If they couldn’t get acquainted, wouldn’t that be stupid?

In the end, in a few hours, the two were close, as if they had known each other for years. Otherwise, why would she be prating all over the suite dressing like that?

Not that she was thinking of seducing Nolan. No, it wasn’t that way at all. In her eyes, dating someone on par with you was very dangerous.

They would be compared day and night. Who would want that?

Nolan was more of a good sister or friend in her eyes, at least for now.

After getting acquainted with each other, Diamond learnt of his occupation and they became even closer.

Nolan didn’t live in Athary full time, but actually on the continent of Lostrus, in a kingdom called Rozinya.

That kingdom is well known for its luxurious clothing brands. Even her famous VERTAH was from there as well.

Nolan was a fashion designer and recently started his own clothing brand. On top of that, he had been working as a model from a young age. He was quite famous and recognized as a supermodel.

He had indeed made a good name for himself.

Being associated with someone who loves fashion and branded clothes like her. How could Diamond not like him?

Besides, as an influencer, Diamond understood the concept of knowing the kind of brands to wear on special occasions.

When it was other times, she didn’t mind what she wore. But when attending banquets, events and just somewhere where she mustn’t lose face, dressing well was a must.

And Nolan here just happened to be in time to save her from a lot of trouble.

There was a charity banquet tomorrow she was supposed to attend. Being a VVIP at the hotel made her automatically qualify to attend this banquet.

The same was true for Nolan as well. Although Nolan wasn’t in Gesalsi for the charity banquet but for the fashion show next week, since he wanted to showcase some of his designs.

As a designer, showing off his designs was a must, and it so happened that he had several sets which Diamond could fit well.

How could she reject a free gown?

That was the reason why the two of them were in her suite at night. But who would have guessed that before they could start the fitting, Ruby would start broadcasting?

As a result, the gowns were forgotten until now.

"Okay, I forgive you. Since we are now friends, then let’s cancel the past and start afresh!" she didn’t forget to shamelessly say after straightening out her thoughts.

Nolan smiled faintly at her as he shook his head. This new friend of his was truly a drama queen.

He wondered how Wyatt would react once he learned that they had met each other.

His best friend, Wyatt, really liked Diamond that much. It was because of him that he started taking an interest in Diamond.

And when he found out that they lived in the same complex, he didn’t dare tell Wyatt about it. He was afraid that Wyatt would dump his work just to take a closer look at the other.

Chasing idols and stars wasn’t bad, but when it started interfering with what was important, then it became very dangerous.

By being friends with Diamond now, he could learn in advance what kind of person she was in advance. That way, he could protect his friend just in case he fell into her trap.

He wanted the best for Wyatt. He was a good person.

"Um. Let’s start on a clean slate then!" he agreed with her words with a nod.

Diamond beamed at the other as she stretched her hand. "I am Diamond, Perry, turning twenty-six years old next month. I have two younger sisters, Ruby and Garnet and in our family, it’s just us five. I love being an e-celebrity, the spotlight and money. On top of it all, I want to have a big family in the future. Marry a few husbands, you know, and have several kids. It’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance!" Diamond introduced herself in the strangest way anyone had ever done before.

Even Nolan was quite shaken by the last part of the introduction. Was that okay to say it that loud on the first day?

Wasn’t she afraid of him alienating her because she said so?

However, when he thought of the reason why he didn’t mind getting so close to her in the first place; her sincerity and directness, a smile blossomed on his face as it clicked in his mind what had just happened.

Diamond was directly showing him her level of trust towards him. She revealed her inner desires to him and didn’t seem to mind doing so.

If he was another person, then maybe she wouldn’t have said so in the first place. So having her say this means that she really takes him as a bosom friend. And that honestly made him feel very warm.

It wasn’t easy to trust someone this serious on the first day.

Nolan accepted her handshake with a smile, and responded, "I am Nolan Morgante. I am twenty-seven years old. I was adopted at a young age, and my foster parents have long passed on. So, I can say that I am an only child. I grew up in Rozinya, and am currently a model, fashion designer and business owner. My dream is to be surrounded by people who love me and who I love. Having a big family is nice as well. It’s nice to be your friend, Diamond!"

Diamond’s smile grew bigger the moment she heard a familiar introduction piece coming out of Nolan’s mouth.

She excitedly threw herself into his embrace and, moments later, the two of them were hugging each other tightly.

"Hehe, thank you for becoming my friend!"

"The pleasure is mine. We should have become friends earlier."

Diamond grinned as she pulled away, her eyes sparkling as she looked at Nolan and replied, "There is a time for everything, you know?"

Nolan nodded as the smile on his face never faded. "Indeed, there is time for everything. It’s good the way it is right now. But dear, aren’t you afraid that I might look at you strangely for saying something like that? Are you serious about marrying several husbands?" he couldn’t help but ask curiously.

Although in his heart he was certain that she was serious, there was that what if, she was pulling my leg that kept on buggering him?

Rather than dying of curiosity, asking the person involved seemed like the perfect choice.

Diamond knew that the question was going to come at any moment since she already blurted this out.

Someone might ask why she did it.

Why expose herself to a friend she just met on the same day?

Wasn’t she afraid of being looked at differently, like the way Rita did when she learnt of her relationships with the twins?

The answer was pretty simple.

Yes, she was.
