SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS-Chapter 485 - 483: ACCEPTANCE
Chapter 485: Chapter 483: ACCEPTANCE
Diamond chuckled as she picked the first gown that was brought for her to fit as she digested the question that Nolan had just asked her.
She didn’t remember having such a conversation with someone else other than her family members.
Even when she was with Sullivan and Kian, they never talked about it. They didn’t even have time to think about anything since the relationship ended abruptly like that.
The first time she felt like telling someone about her relationship status, she ended up on bad terms with that person.
The second person she told was that woman, Grace, who wanted her to be her daughter-in-law. She told him at that time that she was dating two men at a time, and she didn’t seem to mind at all.
She even gave the woman her number, and until now, there wasn’t any call.
Although her world had changed, and people were getting tolerant of some other things, it seemed that only her family at the moment tolerated her.
The friends she made didn’t even know about her likes at all. So having someone like Nolan who didn’t look at her with disgust when he heard her but was curious and wanted to understand more made her feel that this time, she might have hit a jackpot.
"Um, I am not sure whether we will get married or not, but I am going to have many of them. Maybe four or five!" she enthusiastically responded as she tilted her head.
The number had always troubled her. Three felt like too small for her, so maybe four or five. Any number above five would be too much for her. She didn’t have time to spare for so many men and yet she was also afraid that the number she wanted was too hard to manage as well.
But what could be done? If she liked someone, she was going to work hard to get him. That’s if he wasn’t taken. Anyone with someone like Dean, would curb her feelings and let go.
Nolan was baffled when he heard her saying that.
"Are you sure that you can manage? Men can be troublesome, you know!" and he asked worriedly.
Diamond shook her head as a mysterious smile blossomed on her face.
"I love trouble. If you trouble me, then I just get rid of you. Why should I stress myself in such a manner?" she asked as she spread her hands, the gown not yet viewed until now.
Nolan exhaled a deep breath as he heard that. He couldn’t help but ask, "But why do you do it like that? I mean, you could find one guy, be with him and be happy together!"
As someone who had someone in his heart, a person he was still waiting for and hoping that one day she would show up in front of him, the concept of having too many people in his heart sounded a bit too much for him.
Not that he was going to hate her for being like that. People are different and they have the right to do whatever they want. He just didn’t understand why with everything that she had, would risk it and be condemned by people if the secret ever got out.
She was like a star in the sky that he didn’t want to see dimming one day.
And such kinds of scandals were enough to end a person.
Diamond looked at Nolan with an appreciative gaze. Feeling touched by his concern. They just became friends today, and he was already worried about her. If this wasn’t how a friend should be like, then what would be?
"In my life, I never thought that I would have such thoughts as well. I also thought when I was growing up that I would fall in love with a rich guy, marry him and have his children. I wanted a love like my parents but with a lot of money in it. So, I tried to search for it.
Anyway, I miserably failed and shot myself in the foot. I made a lot of mistakes when I was young and as a result, my heart got hurt badly. I never thought that I would even dare think of dating again.
Fortunately, the deities took mercy on me and my life did a wonderful turnaround and here I am. Rather than getting hurt by one man, I would rather share my heart with many of them.
I won’t have a special person in my heart who would drive me crazy and make me feel so small to the point that I would curse my ancestors after everything that they have done for me.
I want to be loved, not just by one person, but by many of them. There are three children now in the family, with me being the eldest. There are no sons in my family, and it would be hard for the Perry name to be passed on.
If I hold my future in my hands, I can achieve whatever I want. I will marry them all into my family if I ever get married and give my parents more sons at the same time.
Besides, with my love for beauty and handsome people, I would rather be open about the kind of relationship that I want than hurt my lover just because I am with someone else out there.
So, if that person can’t accept the fact that he will be having others in the future, no matter how distant that future is, then that person isn’t worth being with me.
Lastly, why should I follow the norm? I am me, so I will do whatever makes me happy. And having many of them makes me happy. I just need to find the right people."
As Nolan listened to Diamond’s logic, which didn’t make sense and made sense at the same time, he started understanding what she was talking about.
He had listened to some of her videos online and he remembers how she was betrayed by the man she used to date.
Although they were both in the wrong, the matter still hurt Diamond so much. That might be the trigger.
Anyway, why did he have to stress again?
Since she has the capital and guts to do so, then as a friend who was happy to find someone so sincere and open like this, he should do his best to support her.
It didn’t take long for him before he accepted this fact.
He looked at her with a smile as he opened his arms and said, "Come here!" his tone was very doting.
Diamond beamed at the other and threw herself into his arms again.

With her in his arms, he felt like he was holding a sister he had never managed to have in his life. He couldn’t help but pat her back as he said, "Dear, as your friend, I will support you in everything that you do. You do whatever you want and I will shield you from whatever comes into the future. You understand me, right?"
Diamond nodded her head, feeling teary from all the heartfelt words she had just heard.
That was the first time someone was actually encouraging her to follow her desires, despite knowing that it was madness.
Being acknowledged and accepted made her feel like it wasn’t a bad choice spilling the beans from the beginning after all.
