Signing-In: The Lazy Moon Goddess-Chapter 760: Primordial God of Death
With the Primordial God of Death’s descent in the world, the whole laws of the ruins were affected. Like Yue Xuexia said before, the existence of this god is like Dao itself. He is the Dao of Death himself. The Yin energy and death energy engulf the whole ruins causing most living to be affected by the Qi of death becoming something like undead or anything that is connected to death and not life.
The others who didn’t turn had hidden to the deepest area of where they left just so to avoid being affected by the death itself. The sky in the ruins turned dark yet it wasn’t the transition of day to night. But just darkness overwhelming the light preventing all life from coming out.
Yue Xuexia controlled the moon so the light wouldn’t be extinguished though this is only the part above the forest area. From the black orb a voice comes as Death Qi surrounds this orb.

Once the darkness dispersed from the orb, the orb which is supposed to be at the center of the black smoke was replaced by a pale skinned man with long black hair and grey eyes. His features were ethereal and refined to perfection. Even though he had a human figure, one look at him is enough to see that he isn’t a god. The moment you meet with those grey eyes, all kinds of death would be experienced by you, if you couldn’t bear it, you would be left injured.
However, the Moon Goddess met his eyes with a clear gaze. She didn’t react much about all the kinds of death she had experienced in that split second their eyes had met.
Yue Xuexia said, "Nice to meet you, Lord of Death. My name is Yue Xuexia. I am one of those who governs the moon."
{But that is not all you can control. Lightning, nature, and even blood. You have control over it. There is also something else I couldn’t see through. We can have our conversation later. Right now, I need to help my child to complete his inheritance.}

I am already being kind by sparing your world from it. The Immortal World would be affected. Places with Tribulation realm cultivators can protect their own, you do not have to worry about your clans.}

After saying this, Yue Xuexia ripped the sky above the ancient ruins revealing the space above the Exiled Star. There was someone who had gotten a glimpse of a small star protected by a heaven grade world array. Though none dares to slip through that space crack due to the pressure of the Death Qi in the area. The Death God carries away Ru Yunlan towards outer space and the space crack slowly closes as the darkness slowly fades and the light once again comes to life.
Everything had returned to normal after Yue Xuexia had sent the death god and Ru Yunlan to space and the suffocating pressure in the area had also faded.
Seeing that her son was gone, Ru Lanyu panicked, "My son!? Where has Lan’er gone?!"
"Lanlan, calm down. They are in outer space. Don’t worry. I will bring you over to watch. But promise me you will not go beyond the world array." Yue Xuexia said.
Ru Lanyu nodded her head and said, "I promise!!"
The Moon Goddess knowing that the rest might want to know what will happen. She let her system open a holographic screen in the air above the area they are in, like a cinema showing the scenery of the space itself. They saw Ru Yunlan floating in space in front of the God of Death. Yue Xuexia, seeing that everything is now alright, grabbed Ru Lanyu and teleported near the World Array within the atmosphere of the Exiled Star.
Ru Lanyu can see her son sitting on nothing before the Death God. Since the Primordial God of Death had promised that the Exiled Star would be unharmed no matter what happened next. Yue Xuexia brought Ru Yunlan’s mother to watch with her. In the worst scenario that Ru Yunlan might lose himself to the power of Death, Ru Lanyu should be able to bring him back.
On the other hand, while in space, Ru Yunlan was stunned. This is the first time he had come to space. Though one would be able to come out of space and be alive when you reach the realm of Yuanying, to be safely able to traverse space one should at least be at Huashen realm. You will need to use a flying vehicle to achieve it though. To fly with your own body you need to be at least a true god, Mahayama realm or what they called Void Refining Realm.
The God of Death noticed the arrival of the Moon Goddess and the mother of Ru Yunlan. He couldn’t help but be amazed by how meticulous this young goddess is. Moreover, she covered the lady with space elements so even if the Death Qi touches her it would just be transferred somewhere else. It seems she noticed that as long as it wasn’t suppressed the Qi of Death wouldn’t become aggressive towards something. Though this is a useless attempt if it was a controlled Death Qi.
{Yunlan, we will not begin. I have refined all the death qi you have accumulated all these years. You must absorb everything in your body. You might feel breaking and dying but as my heir you will not be able to die. Sharpen your thoughts, solidify your will. As long as you don’t accept or reject death and let everything flow, nothing will happen to you and you will not lose yourself. Prove that you are worthy of ruling the Dao of Death.}
The words of warning from his master lingers in his ears. Ru Yunlan remembers it in his heart. Just to be sure, he brought an ordinary small toy in his hand. It was a cute little figure of a little devil made by his fiancee and mother for fun. He smiles as he gently caresses the toy and suddenly hears his mother’s voice from somewhere.
"My little darling. Do your best! Please don’t get hurt. Mom will always be with you!" Ru Lanyu passed the message to her son with her friend’s help.
Even though Ru Yunlan couldn’t see the Exiled Star due to the world array turning it invisible, those from the other side can openly see him from a great distance.
Upon hearing his mother’s voice, Ru Yunlan finally looked at the God of Death and said, "Master, I am ready!"
{Alright. Close your eyes and feel the qi around you. Activate your physique and focus on maintaining it.}
After the death god saw Ru Yunlan closed his eyes and activated his Nether Physique. The moment he did, his whole being became something devoid of life. Pale white skin, black and an ethereal presence. He seems to be there but not at the same time.
