Corey had thought of a million scenarios that could occur the moment he was able to severe his connection with the Universal System.

It was a thought he usually had for every single second, and if he was being honest about it... It was sort of scary and worrying for him.

The worst case scenario he had was death.

A death which he could not resist because of the almighty Universal System.

Corey had done countless simulations ever since he decided to severe his connection with the Universal System, but the reality was just far too different compared to his simulations.

Despite the fact that Corey was groaning in pain on his knees, he could sense everything that was going on in his Sea of Consciousness.

And it was utterly chaotic.

The first scene was the location of the Universal Brand.

The Universal Brand which had the appearance of a dark crimson eye with countless tentacles attached to it... was no more.

There was a gaping hole in his Cosmic Soul where the Universal Brand used to be, and although the hole was closing itself, Corey still felt immense pain.

It was like somebody had just pulled a nail that was stuck in his skin, muscles, and bones.

It was extremely painful to the core.

Beside the closing gaping hole was Pamela.

She was struggling to stand and not be swept away by the chaotic winds in his Cosmic Soul, and if not for the help of Primus and Prima, she would have either been swallowed whole by one of the black holes in his soul or she would have been crushed by the immense pressure his Cosmic Soul was giving off.

Corey snapped his finger with trembling fingers, and Pamela vanished.

He sent her out of his Sea of Consciousness, and then he focused on everything that was going on in his Sea of Consciousness.

Inside his Cosmic Soul was pure chaos.

In several locations of his Cosmic Soul, there were thousands of runes, and these runes were skill runes.

Some of them were the skills the Universal System usually showed on his status screen. While some were dormant skills he had created using his Stars of Consciousness.

These dormant skills were in his subconscious, and he could use them anytime, but he chose not to.

There were far more of these dormant skills than the skills his Status Screen usually showed, and every single one of these skills began to tremble violently while glitching.

As they glitched, they turned into motes of light of different colours and began to dissipate into the nothingness.

Corey's Cosmic Soul was filled these countless motes of multicoloured lights, and it was a sight that would awe just about anybody.

However, as these skills began to dissipate, Corey also lost his knowledge on these skills.

Thousands of skills which he had created but never used were lost in less than a minute, and all Corey could do was watch.

He couldn't stop the runes from disappearing with his current power.

Maybe if he was as talented as Pamela, he would have found a way to stop the runes from disappearing. But at the moment, the runes were returning to their creator and master.

The Universal System

Aside from his skills, Corey also felt the losss of his Poison Warlock class.

There was a massive greenish warlike rune in his soul that represented his Poison Warlock class, and Corey felt his Poison Warlock class being stripped away from him.

One might think as all these skills and his class were being stripped away from him, he was not feeling anything.

But that was far from the truth.

Corey felt like countless needles were being pulled out from his flesh while ants gnawed his insides.

He was in so much pain, and worst of all, even his Pain Resistance skill was vanishing.

Fortunately for him, such a skill could not properly define how high his tolerance and resistance for pain truly was. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖

Corey already expected all of these to happen, and his focus was not on his lost skills.

His focus was instead on his talent.

His Omniscience talent was literally his Perceptual Nexus Repository, and his Perceptual Nexus Repository had fused with his Sea of Consciousness.

Aside from his skills and Class, the one thing Corey was certain the Universal System would absolutely want to take from him was his talent.

He had gotten his talent as a gift from the Universal System, and since he wanted to severe his connection with the Universal System, it wanted its precious gift back.

Outside his Cosmic Soul, Corey looked at an eye that was so massive it covered the entire Perceptual Nexus Repository.

Unlike the Universal Brand which was a dark crimson eye, this eye was very familiar to Corey.

It was a golden eye. The same golden eye that always tried to kill him whenever he concocted an alchemical product.

The Eye of a Supreme.

Although the golden eye was looking at every single thing in his Sea of Consciousness due to its size, Corey could feel its attention on him.

It was mainly staring at him, and Corey could sense the anger in the Supreme Eye.

The Supreme Eye was not in his mind just to see.

It was taking back everything it had given Corey.

Aside from his class and skills which were turning into motes of glitching light, his Stars of Consciousness, the Alchemy Anvil, the Simulation Room, the Library of Records, and even Chucky was being pulled into the Supreme Eye.

Dozens of Stars of Consciousness were getting pulled into the Supreme Eye, and although this was Corey's mind where he should be countless times more powerful and have a greater control over everything, he could not stop this from happening.

The attraction force of the Supreme Eye was too powerful, and Corey stopped trying to use his power to stop this from happening.

'I guess it can't be helped. Plan B it is.'
