If there was one thing Corey knew about himself, it was that he was greedy.
If he was not greedy, there should be no reason why he would want to fuse with the Heart of the Prince of an ancient forgotten race on par with the Paragons and Supremes.
His current talent was so high that he could become as powerful as the Old Ones in the future even if he slacked off a little bit.
But Corey always wanted more.
And he also hated losing what he already had. He hated losing what was in his possession.
Especially things he valued.
Corey already knew that the Universal System would attempt to take back everything it had given him, and Corey had thought long and hard on how to prevent such a thing from happening.
He had considered countless scenarios, and the only solution that had a higher chance of success was based on two things.
His Cosmic Soul and the spirit of the World Tree of the Silver Elves.
His Cosmic Soul was extremely unique, and it was because of how unique it was that the Universal Brand found it difficult to destroy his Cosmic Soul despite its attempts a few moments ago.
If his soul was average like many other humans, the destruction of the Universal Brand would have torn his soul in two and he would be extremely lucky to be alive today.
His Cosmic Soul was one of the methods he planned on preventing the Universal System from taking everything he had.
And the second was the spirit of the World Tree of the Silver Elves.
Possessing the spirit of the World Tree was a result of some coincidences and also luck.
After Corey returned the World Tree back to the Silver Elves, he realized that a portion of the spirit of the World Tree was inside of him.
And this portion was not left behind on purpose by the actual spirit of the World Tree.
It was a result of his unique soul and Sea of Consciousness, and also because of how many times he went back in time while being fused with the World Tree.
Unlike him who could recall the previous timeline, the World Tree could not.
And because of his Cosmic Soul and unique Sea of Consciousness, the World Tree's spirit that fused with his Sea of Consciousness did not vanish.
Instead, it remained there, and without a single bit of consciousness in it.
It was like a normal plant... A spiritual plant.
And Corey had been growing it using his spiritual energy, soul energy, and mental energy.
Because of his actions, the World Tree in his Sea of Consciousness grew to a size that would dwarf the actual World Tree.
Corey also came to realize that the World Tree in him was unique in a strange way.
Having the World Tree in him came with some benefits, but many of those benefits were dwarved by everything he possessed.
For example, if a normal individual had the spirit of the World Tree in them, their Sea of Consciousness and mind would undergo a drastic change.
Their comprehension abilities would drastically increase, and they would also gain the elemental affinities the World Tree possessed.
Their regenerative prowess would also experience a major boost, and the spirit of the World Tree would also be a defensive mechanism for the individual's spirit.
Because of his unique nature, he had no need for any of these benefits of the World Tree.
However, he realized that the World Tree could hold the Stars of Consciousness.
It was a shocking discovery, and he had no idea how it was possible, but this discovery brought about the solution that was in his mind.
As Corey watched every single Star of Consciousness fly toward the Supreme Eye in his mind, he got to his feet and sent a command to the World Tree.
The branches and leaves of the World Tree shook intensively due to the gravitational force that was acting on Corey's mind. But it was still able to act.
The countless bolts of silver lightning that were in its crown suddenly erupted like lava.
CLAP!
The silver lightning bolts suddenly elongated and appeared around the remaining Stars of Consciousness.
In the blink of an eye, the silver lightning bolts curled around the Stars of Consciousness, and then they began to pull.
The silver lightning bolts began to pull the Stars of Consciousness toward the World Tree.
There were some Stars of Consciousness that were about to enter the Supreme Eye, but the silver lightning bolts pulled them away from the Supreme Eye.
A flicker of surprise flashed in the Supreme Eye, then a second later, it released a blinding golden glow.
The moment it did this, the attraction force of the Supreme Eye increased drastically, and the silver lightning bolts were yanked toward the Supreme Eye.
The World Tree was nearly uprooted by the sudden increase in the attraction force, and Corey could see cracks appearing on some of the silver branches of the World Tree.
The World Tree tried to pull the Stars of Consciousness toward it, but the attractive force of the Supreme Eye was far too powerful.
Its branches and trunk were developing cracks, and Corey could see that the World Tree would not be able to pull the Stars of Consciousness to itself on its own.
Corey was not surprised by this since he already suspected such a thing to happen.
He closed his eyes, then a few seconds later, his actual Sea of Consciousness became turbulent and waves began to form above it.
In his Cosmic Soul, the planets, stars, and other astral bodies moved erratically.
His entire mind became more chaotic, and the World Tree began to flicker in and out of existence.
A few moments later, Corey's eyes snapped open and he clapped.
CLAP!
His clap was as loud as thunder, and the moment he did, the World Tree appeared in his Cosmic Soul.
