As Corey stared at the Wills of the three bloodlines, his expression could not help but become extremely solemn because his instincts were warning him of a great danger.

He could not see the faces of the Supreme Ancestor and Prince Zakar'el, but he could feel the killing intent they had toward him.

He looked at the Will of the Paragon Ancestor, and he saw that the Paragon Ancestor had a neutral expression.

He could not read anything from the expression of the Will or even his intent, but he felt no malice from him.

"Now, why are you guys facing me and not trying to kill one another?"

Corey asked with a wry smile, and unsurprisingly, there was no response from any of the three Wills.

Corey's lips twitched, then his instincts screamed at him the moment he saw the Supreme Ancestor lifting a finger.

His eyes widened to the limit, and he instantly tilted his head to the side.

An extremely thin line of fire shot out of the Supreme Ancestor's finger, and a thin cut could be seen on Corey's cheeks and right ear.

BANG!

BOOM!

Corey froze on the spot for a fraction of a second, but when his instincts warned him again, he quickly raised his arms to protect his face.

CRACK!

BANG!

A force that was more powerful than anything Corey had ever experienced slammed into Corey, and Corey was sent flying thousands of kilometers to the back.

He tumbled and crashed into objects and uncountable number of times, and it felt like he had been tumbling for years when in reality, it was only three seconds.

BANG!

He crashed into a mountain and left a hole in it, and after tumbling more than a dozen times, he came to a stop.

Groans escaped his lips, and his body which was riddled with injuries twitched all over.

His legs and hands were broken, and his skin was peeled in so many places.

The injuries were so severe that he was only a step away from death.

His fingers twitched, and his injuries were slowly healing as his Undying Will was working its magic.

However, the three bloodlines did not allow him the opportunity to heal himself.

They all appeared above his broken and battered body, then the Supreme Ancestor snapped his fingers.

Corey felt a burning sensation on his right cheek, and his eyes instantly landed on it.

A second later, his eyes widened in horror when he saw sparks in the thin cut on his cheek.

Before he could even think, his body was engulfed in flames.

A fiery orange flame, and Corey screamed in pain.

"ARRRGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!"

He wanted to move, he wanted to roll on the ground, he wanted to put out these flames, but he could not because of his broken body.

And worst of all, Prince Zakar'el acted.

Despite the attack coming directly from the Supreme Ancestor, his Undying Will was still trying to adapt to the attack, and it was succeeding.

Corey was in a lot of pain and he was centimeters away from death.

No

That was wrong.

He died a few times, but his Will brought him back to life.

Unfortunately, it was not like the time where his body was shattered by the shockwaves or rocks.

No

His body was burning by the flames of the Supreme Ancestor, and the flames seemed to never go out.

Just like a certain Divine's flames.

Although he was dying and was in serious pain, his Undying Will was adapting to the flames.

And it was adapting at a rapid pace because Corey had entered so many remnant attacks of the Supreme Ancestor.

He was used to the aura of the Supreme Ancestor.

The Will of the three bloodlines noticed this, and they frowned, but then the Will of Prince Zakar'el snapped his fingers.

And everything became a lot worse for Corey.

His Undying Will suddenly forgot how to adapt.

Corey was now in a much worse scenario.

For some reason, Prince Zakar'el had not made his Will to forget its ability to never give up. However, he made Corey's Undying Will forget how to adapt to attacks.

Now, Corey was not dying but he was also not healing.

He was stuck in a limbo where he couldn't die because of his Undying Will, but he couldn't also heal.

He couldn't adapt to the pain, and it was just getting worse.

His screams of pain and terror echoed throughout this World of Wills, and in the outside world, Prima, Primus, and Pamela could hear Corey's screams.

The same flames that was burning Corey's Will was burning his physical body, and his lump of flesh and bones was being melted, then it would solidify once again.

Prima, Primus, and Pamela were shocked by this scene, and they wanted to help.

However, they could not.

Nina suddenly appeared in the form of a cloud of dark nanobots, stopping them from approaching Corey.

{Don't be foolish. All of you can feel your instincts fiercely warning you about those flames, and you still want to approach him?}

Pamela frowned in confusion when she saw a talking dark cloud, but before she could say anything, Primus spoke.

"Papa is in trouble. We have to save him!"

{Fool. Trust in your father. He'll be able to handle it, but you can't. You don't have the necessary tools to survive those flames.}

Prima's spirit suddenly came out of Pamela who was wearing her physical body.

"And what if Papa dies? Do you think we'll ever be able to forgive ourselves?"

Nina scoffed. {If he needed your help, he would have called for you. Besides, do you know how disappointed, hurt, and angry he' would be if you guys died when he has not even gotten to use any of you properly?}

{He just created you, and you kids want to die so quickly? How foolish of you two.}

"But-"

{Enough! You're not helping him, and that's final. Stay where you are, and just believe in him. He's not weak... He's a monster... He's a Paragon.}

Prima and Primus looked at Corey with extremely worried expressions, and despite the urge to help their father, they knew that Nina was right.

Once those flames touched them, their spirits would truly die. They would die without having spent a single year in the world.

"Alright Aunty Nina. We'll believe in Papa." They both said.

"Good."
