----

There was silence throughout the world the moment Corey cut off the head of Prince Zakar'el.

A ripple spread out across the world, and Corey felt a power try to infiltrate his Will but it failed.

His Will was now a lot stronger than before, and he had also adapted to the powers of the three bloodlines.

Clang!

Clang!

Clang!

The Paragon Ancestor did not waste time attacking Corey after the neck of Prince Zakar'el was cut off.

But unlike before, Corey parried each attack with a calm expression.

Sparks flew along with powerful shockwaves that could cause disasters on New Earth as Corey and the Paragon Ancestor's Will clashed.

The body of Prince Zakar'el fell from the sky, and Corey clenched his fist in the direction of the Prince's body.

Black mist swirled around the Prince's body, then the black mist got bigger and transformed into a solid black cube.

The black cube became smaller, and Prince Zakar'el was sealed inside the cube.

Corey was not certain if the Prince was truly dead or if he could find a way to return back to life, and to ensure that there were no surprises, he sealed the Prince.

Corey's attention remained on the cube for a moment before he shifted it back to the Paragon Ancestor.

He moved his head to the back, nearly dodging a fist that cut the tip of his hair.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Both he and the Paragon Ancestor exchanged thousands of blows in seconds, and Corey was awed because the Paragon Ancestor was using his bare fist to attack him.

He was using two axes, and in the beginning, he struggled a little bit to keep up with the Paragon Ancestor.

But now?

His Undying Will adapted.

He could react to the Paragon's Ancestor's attack with ease, and this annoyed and also caused the Paragon Ancestor's battle intent to increase.

The eyes of the Paragon Ancestor flashed with a cold light, and Corey felt a chill across his spine.

Bang!

Bang!

He barely blocked two punches, and he was forced to take two steps to the back.

To his surprise, the Paragon Ancestor suddenly got stronger and the punches he threw became a lot more dangerous.

A fist grazed his shoulder, and his shoulder was nearly split into two.

'Damn it.'

Despite cursing, there was a smile on Corey's lips as he was forced to adapt, grow, and learn from the Paragon Ancestor.

This might just be a tiny fraction of the Paragon Ancestor's Will, Corey could see a lot of things he could learn from the movements, attacks, and decisions of the Paragon Ancestor's Will.

One was Celestial Flow, the foundation technique of the Paragon Martial Arts.

Every movement and attack of the Paragon Ancestor utilized Celestial Flow.

Whenever the Paragon Ancestor punched, it was not just a punch.

Corey could block a punch of the Paragon Ancestor, but instead of the force being blunt, it would sound like a sword clashing against his axe.

Sometimes it would be like a hammer was about to shatter the bones in his hands, and sometimes the fist of the Paragon Ancestor would suddenly elongate and become sharp like a spear.

If he did not have the knowledge of Celestial Flow, he wound babe died more than a hundred times.

'And he's only using his fists. Not a weapon. I doubt a being only uses their fists to conquer the entire reality.'

Corey also noticed another thing as he dodged the punch of the Paragon Ancestor that was aiming for his head.

The Paragon Ancestor was teaching him.

Corey did not notice it before, but as both he and the Paragon Ancestor fought across the world, dodging blows, blocking, and releasing attacks, he noticed that the Paragon Ancestor was teaching him.

He was teaching him how to perform the Celestial Flow better, how to utilize his Will better, how to make better decisions in high intensity battles like this one.

BANG!

BOOM!

Corey rolled then slid on the top of a mountain. He stopped on all fours, and without even spending a single second, he dashed to the front with two axes in his hand.

Clang!

Clang!

Clang!

Clang!

The Paragon Ancestor appeared in front of him and both of them exchanged hundreds of blows.

The mountain shattered into tiny rock fragments but Corey and the Paragon Ancestor kept on attacking each other.

'He's... burning up his Will to keep on getting stronger. I'm also getting stronger but he burns up his Will and the rate at which I adapt cannot keep up with the rate at which he burns.'

'I need an opening. I need him to get weak, but when will that happen? I feel like he can keep on burning his Will for as long as he wants. It's like his Will is... Infinite?'

'But... this old man is also trying to help me... He's trying to make me stronger. The stronger he gets, the stronger my Will gets.'

'Thank you, old man.' 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

Corey's pupils moved in a zig-zag manner as he observed every single movement the Paragon Ancestor made.

As his eyes moved, his body was also moving, blocking, parrying, dodging, and counterattacking the Paragon Ancestor.

The sky was filled with cracks and the ground beneath them could no longer be recognized anymore.

It was worse than a battlefield, and the Supreme Ancestor watched the battle while sitting calmly in his prison.

Both the Paragon Ancestor and Corey landed on a large sea of water that had been created by the Supreme Ancestor, and they both glided across the water with time struggling to record what was happening.

Time was lagging behind.

'I see now. I've been foolish.'

'You've been telling me how to defeat you ever since. You've been showing me what you truly want me to learn ever since, but I was too blind to see it.'

Corey closed his eyes but his arms kept on moving. A few seconds later, he opened them and...

He burnt his Will.

BOOM!

SHIIINNNGGG!

The world shook due to the sudden power he emitted when he burnt his Will, then there was silence.

Corey was no longer in front of the Paragon Ancestor but behind him with one of his axes placed horizontally to his torso.

Behind him, the Paragon Ancestor stood without moving.

A few seconds later, Corey stood upright and exhaled softly while lowering his axe.

"Thank you... Ancestor."

The moment he said, the body of the Paragon Ancestor split in half and fell into the sea.
