Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon-Chapter 643 - 642: Charisma and Wisdom
Brands
Brands is a part of the status screen Corey had no idea what it's usefulness and purpose was.
He had tried to search the Underworld for information on Brands, however, he found none.
It was like information on Brands was a taboo or it was not meant to be known by the populace.
Knowing more about the Brand was something that had been on Corey's mind for some time now.
However, what he never expected was for there to be a change when his Brand reached Level 5.
A level 1 Brand is Red in colour.
A level 2 Brand is Orange in colour.
A level 3 Brand is Yellow in colour.
A level 4 Brand is Green in colour.
And a Level 5 Brand is Blue in colour.
The colours of Brands followed the colours of the rainbow, just like the grading system of equipment.
The moment Corey's brand advanced to Level 5, he suddenly obtained knowledge on the description of the attributes of his status screen.
He suddenly knew more about Strength, Agility, Constitution, Endurance, Intelligence, and Dexterity.
Although the new knowledge he got was interesting, Corey already knew everything about the new information.
However, what he did not know was information on Charisma and Wisdom.
He had purchased information on what exactly the physical attributes of a person's status screen was purely out of curiosity because he saw that he could purchase information on it from the E-Underworld, and it was unusually expensive.
However, information on Charisma and Wisdom was available in the Underworld but it was so expensive to the point that it was not worth it to Corey.
In the past, Corey thought that of all the attributes on his status screen, the most useless stat he had was the Charisma stat.
He thought that the Charisma stat defined a person's beauty, but he was very wrong.
Charisma was basically one's aura. It also represents one's innate ability to influence, charm, command, and inspire others.

A high Charisma stat enhances one's presence, and this gives one the ability to command respect, loyalty or fear, making their words and presence more impactful.
Those with exceptional Charisma may unconsciously draw others towards them or deter weaker-willed beings. It can also enable the creation of a dominating or alluring aura that can subtly influence thoughts or overwhelm weaker minds.
Also, certain skills may become more potent when influenced by Charisma, especially abilities involving illusions, control skills, or social manipulation skills.
Although Charisma had a lot of subtle and useful abilities, one's Charisma only began to affect and influence the world when one became a Mystic Being.
This is the reason why hidden attributes were always hidden for Tier 0 to Tier 3s.
It's also because of this that the presence of Mystic Beings was always suffocating to Astral Beings. The Charisma of Mystic Beings could affect reality, and the higher the Charisma, the greater the presence of the Mystic Being.
Although the Charisma of Astral Beings could not affect reality, if their Charisma was high enough, their auras would be able to affect their surroundings.
Corey is a prime example of an Astral Being with so much Charisma to the point that his rage and killing intent was enough to affect the entire Amphitheatre and even outside of it.
This was another thing that bothered a lot of the elite organizations in the Underworld.
They knew about the effects of Charisma, and they knew that the Charisma of Astral Beings could not affect reality, but for Corey's Charisma to be able to affect an area as large as the Amphitheatre, it was extremely shocking to them.
Aside from Charisma, another hidden attribute that interested Corey is Wisdom.
His assumption on what Wisdom was not wrong, unlike Charisma.
Wisdom reflected one's mental resilience, perception, cognitive power, and several other factors that dealt with the mind.
It also represents one's ability to comprehend, strategize and endure against psychic, mental, and spiritual assaults.
Corey already knew all of these, but the last information he got on the definition of Wisdom was surprising to him.
Wisdom also determined the number of skills one is able to learn, one's ability to use forbidden techniques, and also one's ability to interact with intangible forces.
Corey had no idea what intangible forces were, but when it came to forbidden techniques, he knew exactly what they were.
Hell, he had three forbidden techniques.
Soul Entropy, Cognitum Erasure, and Painful Echo.
He knew a little bit about Forbidden Techniques due to the E-Underworld.
Forbidden Techniques/Skills are skills that were exactly like they were called, Forbidden.
Skills can be regarded as Forbidden by the Universal System for several reasons. For example, skills that negatively affected the natural order of things.
Another example is a skill like Soul Entropy. Soul Entropy is a skill that causes the soul of a person that is struck by Soul Entropy to age faster.
The person loses both their lifespan and soul span, and regenerating their injuries becomes extremely difficult for them.
However, the main reason why Soul Entropy is a forbidden skill is because Soul Entropy is a skill that can be used with any type of mana, even Astral Mana.
Skills or techniques that affected the soul is usually meant for Tier 7s and above, however, there are certain soul skills that can be used by talented Mystic Beings.
However, a soul skill that can be used by a Mortal, an Astral Being, is not meant to be.
The Universal System knew this, so it made skills like Soul Entropy to be forbidden.
Forbidden skills doesn't mean that if one learns them, they would be targeted by the Universal System.
No.
Learning a forbidden skill means that it's either the person is only able to learn that one forbidden skill or the number of skills the person would be able to learn would be extremely limited.
After his Brand got upgraded to Level 5, Corey also got to know that once again, he was an abnormality.
Very few Tier 3s in existence are able to learn and contain the number of skills he had in him.
Corey got to learn that skills were not just skills that one knew, they were like objects that were placed in one's soul.
People usually had limits to the number of skills they could learn because when they start reaching their limit, they would feel like a part of them is beginning to get full or bloated.
The type and grade of skill one learns also determines the weight of the skill on the person's soul. This is why most elites of the Universe don't learn just any skill without guidance or deep consideration.
