Time and time and time and time again.

Prince found himself getting shocked and stunned by Corey despite believing that there was nothing Corey could do to surprise him anymore.

Prince could no longer take it. His mind could no longer take it, and immense regret appeared in his heart as he stared at the smiling Corey with dead eyes.

'If I knew, I should never have met him.'

'I wonder if the Underworld knows about the lion they've been rearing. I doubt they do, because if they do, they would have taken preventive measures like they did with Pamela.'

'Allowing somebody like him to be free is definitely not something that the higher ups would allow.'

'The end of this branch of the Underworld is over.'

As Prince had these thoughts, Corey raised Prince and Prince scrunched up his face due to the pain of his neck almost getting crushed.

"Before I'm done with you, let me tell you a part of my plans for you."

Corey tilted his head slightly and smiled, and in Prince's eyes, what he saw was not Corey but a demon from the depths of hell.

Updat𝓮d from frёewebnoѵēl.com.

"You see, I'm actually the creator of Neon that you've been looking for."

"Impossible!"

Prince cut off Corey with an expression of disbelief and horror.

"There's no way you're the creator of Neon. You're just... a... Tier... 3."

Prince's voice slowly became a whisper as the shock and disbelief in his eyes turned to realization and acceptance.

"You- Just- Just kill me... I don't want to be in the same environment as you... I don't want to be part of whatever messed up plan you have."

A slightly surprised expression appeared on Corey's face when he saw the broken expression of Prince.

'Am I that terrible?'

Corey wondered, and he observed Prince for a few seconds before he sighed. The satisfaction and enjoyment he was getting from Prince's shocked and horrified reaction died down, and he decided to stop talking.

"Let's get this over with."

Corey placed his other hand on Prince's head, and then he closed his eyes and used the skill, Cognitum Erasure, on Prince.

The memories of Prince flashed through his mind, and with his Stars of Consciousness, he was able to process every scene of Prince's memory with little to no effort at all.

When using Cognitum Erasure on an individual, the memories of the individual would flow into Corey's memory at an extremely fast speed, and if one did not have the mental prowess to handle the weight of the memories, the consequences would be much worse than death.

Cognitum Erasure was a forbidden skill not only because it defied the laws of nature by giving somebody the ability to remove specific memories from an individual, it was also dangerous to the owner of the skill.

If not for Corey's unique mind, soul, and spirit, he would not have been able to use the skill with the ease at which he was currently using it.

His Transcendent level proficiency was also a major factor in Corey's high ability to use the forbidden skill.

Corey observed the memories of Prince, and although he found some intriguing scenes in the memories, he was mostly disgusted by what he saw.

Choosing to not waste anymore time, Corey willed for the memories he was looking for, and these memories remained still in Corey's mind.

These memories were of him, his master, his group members and his desire to have the concoction method of Neon.

Corey removed every single memory of these, and after cross checking to make sure he got them all, he deactivated the skill.

Corey inspected Prince for any sign of mental damage, and when he saw none, he nodded in satisfaction.

Although he knew that what he had done had loose ends and could go wrong in a lot of ways, he just needed things to remain 'peaceful' till he, Divine, and the rest left the Underworld.

Corey indifferently dropped Prince who was went unconscious from the moment Corey used the skill on him.

Corey shifted his gaze to Jamal, and to not only Jamal, but the remaining Devourers who had fallen unconscious from the moment he unleashed his domain.

He snapped his fingers, and his Void Force rippled around each of the Devourers and then they appeared in front of him in the next second.

"Hmm. I'm getting better at using void force." Corey nodded with a satisfied expression, and then he used Cognitum Erasure on every single Devourer.

He removed the memories of their encounter with him and everything they knew of him, memories of his master, memories of Divine and the rest, and even memories of Lydia in some Devourers who had been spying on him from the moment he appeared in the suicide pit.

After doing all of this, he dusted off his hands, and then he dispelled his Toxic Domain.

He used Breath of Omniscience to absorb every single trace of his presence in the surroundings, and after making sure that nobody was spying on him, he vanished, leaving behind more than unconscious members of the Devourers.

Seconds after Corey left, the air above a building that was nearly a kilometers away from the area of Corey's battle with the Devourers flickered.

A crimson eye ball appeared and stared at the area of Corey's battle without blinking. It hovered in the air till Prince and some members of the Devourers began waking up, and then it slowly dissipated into a bloody red mist.

----

Inside a pure white room was the Clown who was sitting with his right leg raised above his left, and in front of him we're holograms of several individuals in the Underworld.

Hundreds of holograms were in front of him, however, his eyes were fixated on the image of the confused and staggering Prince and the other members of the Devourers.

"Smile Reaper, huh?..." The Clown mumbled softly with curious eyes that contained madness in their depths.

He placed his fingers in the edges of his mouth, and then he stretched his mouth to form a smile and said,

"Interesting kid."
