Jace dodged around the group of partiers as he slowly floated up to his garage. The rolling metal door began opening up as he looked around while he waited. Once it was fully open he moved his hoverbike into the center and powered it off.

"Daddy!" Jace flinched as a rocket of white and green hair grappled onto him. He raised an eyebrow at her appearance. Cho had managed to completely turn into a human and not into a partial conversion. "That was an amazing race! You were awesome! I really like the part where you went 'vroom' and then they went 'screet!'" She narrated in excitement as Jace looked over at Cain and Jordan.

Cain shook his head. "We were watching on the television on the roof. I decided it was safer than getting any seats. But it looked a bit dangerous, I heard that even one person died during the race. Will that be a problem?"

"No," Jordan shook her head as Jace looked at her as he set down Cho. He walked over and ruffled her hair while she explained. "For a Waterways Circuit Race that was actually surprisingly close. Usually there are at least four or five deaths throughout the race. But I noticed that they seemed unusually cautious and they even sent emergency services out during the race. Why did they do that… dad?"

Jace smirked as he began changing his clothes. Her calling him 'dad' sounded a bit too forced. But he was sure that would change over time. "Because the Victorium Local Governance would not allow them to race without altered rules. So they changed around several things so it was safer to race."

"Interesting." Cain's eyes blinked between red and blue for a moment before he started moving to a setup that would allow him to connect to the station communication network. "The High Priestess has sent the files for two operations. Do you want me to pull it up on the holographic display for you to peruse?"

"No, we have a guest." Jace told him. "Seems you need to update your security protocols, Cain."

"Actually I just think your own techniques have just gotten better." Director Fenrir informed them as she stood behind the girls who jumped in surprise.

"Woah!" Cho was clearly more surprised than Jordan. "How did you do that? I did not even hear you or your mind!"

Director Fenrir smirked and ruffled both girls' hair. "Come train under me one day and I will gladly show you. But until then, I will keep it as a trade secret." She informed them as she walked over to Jace's kitchen. "Beer?"

"Yeah." Jace answered as he tossed off his clothes that he had under his armor. They were all covered in sweat. He then walked to the bathroom to clean up a bit. "Cain, order some pizza."

He then stepped into the bathroom and switched on the shower. Stepping under the water and letting it wash over him. As he did the door opened and Director Fenrir held out two closed bottles of beer. "I couldn't find bottle openers."

"Because I do not have any." Jace answered as he used his thumb to flip off both caps before handing one beer back and taking a drink of the other one. "How bad is it?" He asked as he set it to the side.

"Not that bad. But I still need someone I trust to retrieve the items in question." Director Fenrir explained. "The items in question are the books from Vexical Prime. They have popped up again. Rumor is that they are going to be sold on the black market in a remote area. We have nothing else but we know someone called the Mountain Man has one of the tickets."

She was being intentionally vague because of Cho and Jordan. But she was talking about the Family Records of both the Vexical Royal Family and Hex Royal Family. Both were stolen by the first prince during the last days of Vexical Prime's prosperous era. When Jace accidently found the prince in the New Republic he did not find the books. Both were marked as lost. They assumed some of the Special Forces operatives from Kamot that the Prince had turned had run off with it to sell it.

"You need me to get in touch with someone from the underworld and track it down. I can do that. In fact, I actually already know who the Mountain Man is. I will just go and ask 'kindly' for his ticket." Jace told her as he turned off the shower and began drying himself off with a towel while taking a sip from his beer.

Director Fenrir raised an eyebrow in surprise and seemed to be asking him to share. But Jace just shook his head in response. She shook her head as she stepped away so he could put on his clothes taking his beer from him while he put on his clothes. "Okay, well just in case I am calling back The Elysium. It will be on standby to support you. Recently a few of them have even been turning Spectre, so we need to call them back to study them anyways."

"Nice to know that they are catching up." Jace chuckled as he pulled a shirt over his head and then grabbed his beer back from Director Fenrir. Downing the rest of his beer as he walked into the room. He now just had on some gym shorts and a loose black t-shirt.

"Drinking a little fast are we?" Director Fenrir asked with a chuckle as she followed him into the kitchen.

"As I am sure you will soon learn. There are a number of negatives of evolution into being a Full Spectre. One is our higher tolerance for alcohol. Although it will help against poisons." Jace explained to her as he topped the bottle in a bin and pulled out another beer. Flicking off the cap again. "I doubt this mission is all you wanted to talk about."

"It is not. But let's start off with the mission for now. A better version of the Puddle-Jumper has already been transferred into your unit's storage. It is outfitted with the wave rider engine, gravitational stealth capabilities. Room for eight seats including pilot and co-pilot, no bunks. Material Materialization units as well as storage for weapons and materials to make more. A cargo compartment that fits two hoverbikes." Director Fenrir explained. "This model is called the Nero Hawk and actually utilizes your hovertech."

Jace raised an eyebrow. "Was I going to hear about it if I did not need to use one?" 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖

Director Fenrir shrugged and shook her head slightly from side to side. "You know how it is… but no. Probably not. Anyways, after the mission you get to keep it anyways. So go and pick seven from your unit to join you in the operation. Keep in mind you have to trust them."

"Understood." Jace nodded his head and looked around for a moment in the kitchen before grabbing a datapad and pulling up seven names before handing the datapad to Director Fenrir. "I have picked seven. Please peruse the names and their capabilities."

"Seriously?" Director Fenrir raised an eyebrow and then her eyes nearly bulged out of her head. "Seriously! What the hell? You know one of these are-"

"I am aware. But most of them were already being formed into a covert Special Operations action group already. Including K. So I will just have that team of six plus Charlie join me. Will that be a problem?" Jace asked as he stepped out of the kitchen and grabbed another pair of datapads before walking back over.

"You are aware that Cerberus itself is an entire unit. You cannot just divide amongst yourselves however you want." Director Fenrir reminded him as she started racing through the information on the operatives she did not know that much about.

"Actually I can and I will. Together with Solisa and Cain I ran a number of data points and simulations to form the entire unit into divisions, teams, squads, and groups. That is with all of the people I had before Sakana Nine. I will have to do it again when we get the hundred more people the High Priestess wants to send our way." Jace explained to her.

"It is more than a hundred." Director Fenrir told him. Jace stopped and looked at her before shaking his head and sighing. "But I will say, this will make it several times easier for your unit to act in multiple locations at the same time. Which is what is about to happen."

"I know, I figured it would, which is why I started the data collection from the start." Jace told her and then slid over the other two datapads. "These are the people for the other two operations."

"I will give them to the High Priestess when I see her later." Director Fenrir set the two datapads to the side. "Now about the other thing I wanted to talk about." She pulled out a gold gilded envelope and handed it to him. "Coming straight from the former Emperor. You are going to be hung out to dry. I suggest you prepare yourself."
