SSS Ranked Shadow Monarch: Summoning Infinite Shadows-Chapter 264: Fighting

The werewolves made it down the mountain, a huge number of them rushing toward Aren and Athena.

Aren didn’t make a move, he stood there watching, and then the first wave finally entered a range that seemed good, he spoke, "Athena, can you do the honors?" He asked.

She nodded, and then stepped forward, her third eye glowed brighter as she lifted both her hands, and a wave of red exploded outward and everything it touched started cracking and getting destroyed. The ground was covered in cracks that caused the ground to shift and change, rock pillars exploded out of the ground, slamming into the wolves, throwing some back, shattering bones and more.

The ground split into large cracks and a ton of them were instantly pulled under.

’What the hell? I didn’t know she had that level of power, what the hell Athena’ Aren screamed in his mind, he didn’t think she would have come this far with her strength, she easily killed more than twenty of these werewolves now.

"Good work Athena, but I’ll not allow you show me up." Aren said, she stepped forward and instantly every shadow behind him lunged forward, each one rushing in to attack. Aren was ready to throw his entire soul energy into the attack now.

The Hydra stood on the backline and began unleashing lava into the air to attack the Wyverns from above, along with the shadow Wyverns.

"Every kill I make turns into a shadow" Aren said. He had always been very passive with the way that he gathered shadows, but now, he wanted to build an army and gather all the knowledge as well, for that was his power.

A werewolf made it through the army, its eyes locked on Aren, growling, it rushed at Aren fast, lunging forward, claws extended for an attack.

Aren reacted fast, stepping back, he lifted his sword, blocking the attack, pushing the werewolf back and then charging in with one powerful slash that cleaved it clean in half, blood splattered to the ground as the top half of the body fell.

Aren looked at the werewolf on the ground, no notification because he had long muted it now that he fought huge amounts of monsters.

"Athena, let’s keep moving, take down anything you can on the way." He instructed her.

"I understand." Athena said, she opened her third eye immediately and the ground trembled even more. They both of them moved ahead, the shadows created a path for them, while they moved, taking down the monsters as fast as they could, and the moment one died, Aren used consume instantly, taking them and turning them into his shadows, he covered the battlefield with his shadows and new ones.

A wyvern attacked from above, managing to evade every attack that was thrown at it. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺

Aren looked up at the wyvern and unleashed an attack, the blast came from above fast, packing an extremely destructive punch.

Aren immediately pushed Athena out of the way, and retreated backwards himself, he looked up, his eyes pinned on the wyvern as its attack slammed into the ground, exploding and leaving a massive crater.

The wyvern curved in the air, changing direction to Aren again, Aren gripped the sword loosely, keeping his eyes on the monster.

Rawwwwwwwwr!

It let out a roar, ready to attack, only for a massive blast to slam into its side, shattering every bone in the wyvern, throwing it down and to the ground fast.

Aren looked at Athena and she gave an innocent smile, "I’m not allowing you get ahead as well." She said, sounding happy with herself.

’Ohhhh, she wants to play?’

"I see you want to play right? Then let’s play" Aren said, he looked ahead into the armies of the enemy, gripping his sword, his leg shifted slightly and in the next moment he blasted forward leaving a trail of dust.

Aren moved as fast as his feet would carry him, pressing hard against the ground at just the right time, he launched into the air, spun around in the air, and landed right in the middle of the enemies, one knee on the ground, sword in hand and head down.

The werewolves looked at Aren in their center, the very enemy they wanted now. One immediately lunged from the left, Aren moved to his feet fast, he dodged the claw, he grabbed the werewolf with his left hand, using all his strength to hurl it into another werewolf before following with a slash that cut right through the two, blood gushed out as he turned around, his eyes locked onto one that lunged at him.

"Stay away" Aren said, slashing with his left hand, unleashing a claw strike that slashed through it, killing it instantly.

He moved fast from there, more attacked at the same time, Aren stopped, planting his foot into the ground, unleashing more than twenty shadow blades, they ripped through the wolves while Aren charged forward, he leaped into the air, expecting to slash down, only for a wyvern to locate him and instantly go for the snipe with a blast.

Aren looked up, crossed his arms.

BAM

He was thrown back, slammed into the ground hard.

The werewolves saw their opportunity, pouncing at the same time.

"Stay the hell away from me." Aren yelled, attacking with shadow blades from the ground, slashing into the werewolves and pushing them back.

He rose to his feet, charging ahead immediately.

One attacked, he ducked under, slashing the gut.

The second came, he pulled back, slashing downward, splitting it diagonally, spilling all its blood.

"Let’s speed this up." Aren said and then charged in faster, he moved like the wind, using his martial arts as well as his shadow sense to fight, he moved extremely fast, and each attack landed a killing blow, his kill count was rapidly rising.

Athena wasn’t slacking at all as well, Aren glanced over at her to see how she was holding up, only for what he saw to completely stun Aren.
