STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer-Chapter 526: Medicinal plant!

Jeremy Night is looking at the new team in front of him. They are the Beast Taming Team from outside. He didn’t want any confrontation.

The next second, he used the movement method to leave the place. He burst forth with great speed. Fortunately, the area close to the border is dense forest.

The Team Leader is Devon, Tier-5 Beast Tamer. Their Team is called VANQUISH TEAM. One of the Beast Taming Teams from 6th Zone.

They are not like other Beast Taming Teams. They are working for an illegal organisation in the 6th Zone. The organisation has sent them here for a mission.

They have to collect resources from the core area. That’s why he was unwilling for any confrontation.

"Leader?" Someone called out.

Devon collected his thoughts.

He said,"We are here for a mission. Not many Beast Taming Teams entering the core area."

"We have to be careful. Otherwise, we could face problems," he added.

Hearing that the Team members are understood. They were quite eager to kill the Tier-2 Beast Tamer earlier.

The VANQUISH Team then turned around and resumed their journey to the core area.

Jeremy reaches the border again. This time he faced no corrupted beasts on the way. Now he has to make a decision.

He should look for the resources here. If not, he should take the risk to enter the core area. He was not in a hurry to enter the core area.

Only last night he had met with the Spider Beasts. The core area will be more dangerous. He will enter the core area if there are no resources found here.

So he started his work here. He is using the eye sight to observe the surroundings. Since he is looking for the resources. He is being patient and moving slowly.

From time to time he came across the beast’s footprints. He doesn’t know whether the beasts have entered the core area from here.

It didn’t take long for him to find another resource. It’s one of the medicinal plants with a strong smell. The stem is thick and medium sized. The leaves are textured.

Earlier, he was worried that the mission might be unsuccessful. But he has found two resources so far.

Then he continues his work.

Several Beast Taming Teams have entered the core area. Most of them are Team sent by the Illegal Organisation. They have long coveted the resources here.

These foreign zone teams witness local teams entering the core area as well. It has reduced their vigilance. They were worried about being exposed.

Now even locals have entered the core area. They are more confident to do the mission now.

But they don’t know about the Thorne Family’s Sun Wheel Organisation and the new Organisation called Shadow Moon Chamber.

The Thorne Family had also set their eyes on the core area. They don’t lack Beast Tamers. If the locals are weak and incompetent, then they can send their own teams from the 5th Zone.

Jeremy Night has covered more area now. It’s been an hour since he found that medicinal plant. He couldn’t find another one.

He understood the growing conditions for these rare plants and trees. He had found them in a hidden location. He was lucky that red fruit was not seen by the Corrupted Beasts.

Otherwise, they would have eaten it for sure.

Suddenly, he hears the rustling sound. He then turns around to check the place. He was sure that if there were any beasts he would know.

The higher tier beasts are larger in size. They can’t escape from his eyesight. But right now he sees none. But where does this sound come from?

He heard the noise once again. This time he quietly listened to the noise. As the time goes by, he notices that noise is not nearing him.

It’s coming from one place. He then began to follow the noise. He crossed the path filled with weeds and rocks.

As he followed the noise, he got closer to the core area.

After realising that he paused his footsteps. He looks at the dense monstrous forest in front of him. The tall vines and tree roots have entangled the place.

The weeds and plants have grown up to the size of humans. This entrance to the core area is more dangerous.

"No wonder, they have built an underground tunnel to go there," he thought.

He gave a deep look before turning around to leave.

Rustle!

Suddenly, the hanging vine shot towards him. It was so sudden. Just before the vine could hurt him.

He shifted his body sideways. The sense of danger came at the last moment and alerted him. Then he understood what’s going on.

The Vine Beast is making noise.

Swoosh!

He didn’t waste any time before retreating from the place. The Vine Beast didn’t chase after him. Only after coming to the safe place, he sighed in relief.

He knew it’s not easy to encounter plant type corrupted beasts. That too a vine type beasts. He was sure that it was not a Lower Tier Beast.

If he wasted time there then the vines would have captured him. His strength is not enough. The higher tier beasts can easily harm his body.
