Chapter 608: Part 3: Departure

10th Zone, City-A

Head Office:

Jeremy Night arrived at the office. He found the door open, so he walked in. Head Neil Moon was on a phone call, speaking to someone.

Upon seeing him, Head Neil signaled with his eyes for him to sit down. Jeremy walked up to the chair and took a seat.

Head Neil Moon stayed on the call for a few more minutes. He then ended the call and turned towards Jeremy Night.

"Are you ready?" Neil Moon asked. "The flight is in two hours. I’m going to drop you at the airport," he added.

Hearing that, Jeremy Night was surprised. He didn’t expect Head Neil to drop him off personally. They chatted for a few minutes before leaving the building.

A few minutes later, both of them entered the flying car. The vehicle departed and began moving towards the airport.

Jeremy sent a text message to Sinag and Ada. He also messaged Leader Gisela.

He didn’t know when he would come back next. Jeremy had already spoken to his parents about this matter. They were in shock, but he assured them that he would be alright.

It didn’t take long for the flying cab to reach the airport. After arriving, the two of them stepped out, and the cab left.

Both of them then walked into the airport.

"I’m sure Gisela must have given you information about the 5th Zone. Read it during your journey; it will be helpful," Neil said.

"More importantly, internal fights are common there, so the crime rates are high. You will find Beast Tamers killing each other."

"Take your time to understand the place first. If you face any problems, tell Harold everything. He will help you out," Neil advised. "If you find yourself being pressured, you can return here at any time. Our door is always open for you."

"If not for the abundant opportunities in the 5th Zone, I wouldn’t have been ready to send you there," he added.

Hearing that, Jeremy Night felt grateful. He once again thanked Head Neil. His fate had changed because of two women.

One was Lord Martha from the Human Alliance, who gave him the unknown Lifeline Beast egg.

The second person was Leader Gisela. She had recruited him from Central University. Once again, an opportunity had opened up for him.

Neil Moon knew that Jeremy Night could take care of himself. He thought the kid had enough exposure; Jeremy had contributed during the Three Beast Invasion incident in three different zones.

That was why he believed Jeremy could adapt to the 5th Zone.

As the seconds went by, they continued to chat. Neil Moon shared his experiences, knowing there was still time before the flight arrived. He decided to fill Jeremy’s mind with knowledge.

While they were talking, Jeremy couldn’t help but think of the Tier-6 Mission. Since they were having a nice conversation, he wanted to ask about it. He wanted to know what Head Neil Moon thought.

Neil Moon noticed Jeremy’s reaction. "What’s bothering you?" he asked.

Jeremy asked, "Head, what do you think about the Tier-6 Mission? Almost all of the Beast Tamers accepted the mission."

Neil Moon was not surprised. He knew about the changes in the Tier-6 Mission, especially the limit removal and additional rewards. He realized that Jeremy Night would have accepted the mission if not for the current trip to the 5th Zone.

His eyes flashed with seriousness. "The Central University is one of the top forces of the Human Alliance. Who do you think had the courage to do this?"

Jeremy Night was silent. This was the thing that had been bothering him. In fact, he had an idea, but he refused to believe it.

Neil Moon saw through Jeremy. "You can tell me your thoughts. I’m going to see whether you can survive in the 5th Zone or not."

Jeremy raised his eyebrows and said, "If someone could target the Central University, then they must be a similar top force. But I’m wondering why they would target Central University."

A hint of approval flashed in Neil Moon’s eyes. "You are right. You can survive in the 5th Zone. I told you about the internal fights earlier. I think the reason behind the Tier-6 Mission was an internal fight as well."

"I think Dean Parker must have known about this. But it’s possible that he didn’t know which force it was. That’s why he used the Beast Taming Association for this mission," Neil added.

Jeremy Night’s eyes glinted with understanding. He thought he was right in his assumption. He had already come across internal fighting before going to the 5th Zone.

They talked about a few other things until it was time for the flight.

Head Neil Moon stopped talking. He had already told Head Harold about Jeremy’s departure.

He looked at Jeremy and said, "There will be someone there to pick you up at the airport."

"Okay," Jeremy replied.

When it was time for him to board, he bid goodbye to Head Neil Moon and turned around to leave.

A few minutes later, he arrived at the flight. He saw that the passengers had started boarding one after another.

He joined the line, showed his pass, and entered the aircraft. He quickly found his seat number and sat down.

The flight’s body was long and fortified so that no corrupted sky bird beasts could attack it.

The passengers on the flight were Beast Tamers. There were Tier-6 Beast Tamers as well.

Jeremy could differentiate the aura because he had seen Tier-5 and Tier-6 Beast Tamers before.

It was rare to see Tier-6 Beast Tamers in public, but he thought he would get used to it soon.

It didn’t take long for the seats to fill up. Shortly afterwards, the flight took off and started heading towards the destination.

Jeremy Night had expectations in his heart. He saw the sight of the airport and the city. He didn’t know when he was going to come back again.
