Chapter 731: Eliminating Nick and the members

The Field

Jeremy didn’t show any pity. He killed those two Beast Tamers in quick succession. He was about to go after Tyson Hill, but his eyes caught sight of the staff member, Nick.

Nick was trying to flee. Jeremy’s eyes turned cold. He turned around and used "Explosive Steps" to catch him.

He covered the gap in a couple of seconds, but Nick had already entered the car. Seeing that, Jeremy pulled out his handgun and infused the bullets with starlight power.

Before the man could take off and flee, Jeremy used his eye ability to zoom in. The car’s fuel tank came into view.

Bang! Bang!

He pulled the trigger and shot continuously at the target. The starlight bullets traveled in a straight line, striking the fuel tank and causing an explosion a second later.

Nick was thrown out of the car. The sudden impact stunned him, causing him to lose precious seconds.

Bang!

Another shot was fired. The bullet went through his back and reached his heart, puncturing it before exiting through his chest.

Nick was dumbfounded. He saw the bullet leaving his body, leaving behind a hole in his heart.

Puchak!

He coughed up a mouthful of blood. He hadn’t expected to die at the hands of the young Beast Tamer. His young master had underestimated the boy. Nick’s eyes lost their luster as his vitality came to an end.

Jeremy saw that the man was dead. To confirm, he used his second eye ability. His X-ray vision showed that there was no blood flow. There was a hole in the heart; Nick was dead.

Jeremy turned around and placed the handgun back in its case. He gripped the handle and started heading toward the underground hole.

Boom!

A deafening noise sounded.

Before he could reach the spot, he saw two giant beasts fighting each other. Tyson Hill was watching from behind. The Black Rat King tried to harm its opponent with a claw.

Boom!

The claw struck, but it failed to penetrate the skin. The Blood Rat King retaliated, its massive body colliding with the Black Rat King’s body.

A huge shockwave followed. The Black Rat King was forced backward, but it couldn’t give up. Tyson Hill was urging it from behind to kill the Blood Rat King as soon as possible.

Jeremy watched the scene using his eye ability. At the last moment, he reconsidered whether to go ahead. If he killed Tyson Hill, he would have to be ready for the consequences.

Jeremy Night didn’t want to be impulsive or make a rash decision. He still had to think about his family and friends.

They were in the 10th Zone; if the Hill family went after them, it would be troublesome. He made a last-minute change to his plan.

He turned around and left the place. From beginning to end, Tyson hadn’t tried to sense the presence of others.

According to him, once his men finished off the young Beast Tamer, they would be joining him. Because of the Blood Rat King, he had forgotten about them for the time being.

Jeremy returned to the shade tree and saw the corpse of Nick lying there. He picked up a device and searched for a signal, but there was none.

He needed to get to the fortress; from there, he could call for help. He left the area using "Explosive Steps."

He ran non-stop until he reached a human settlement. From there, he phoned Senior Melinda and informed her of everything.

Melinda was stunned and in disbelief. She didn’t want Jeremy Night to stay there and ordered him to return to the organization immediately.

There was no need for him to go to the Association. The Hill family was no ordinary family; they could have supporters inside the Association.

Jeremy obeyed her. He ended the call and approached a car driver who was about to return to the city. He sat inside the car and left. 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖

Meanwhile,

The Black Rat King was wearing down the Blood Rat King. Tyson Hill was excited; it was only a matter of time before the Blood Rat King lost the fight. Then, he would let his Black Rat King eat the corpse of the Blood Rat King.

While his blood was boiling with excitement, he slowly started to realize something: his men had yet to arrive.

His expression changed drastically.

"What happened to them?" Tyson thought.

If they were here, the support of two Tier-5 Vicious Dogs would have allowed them to kill the Blood Rat King easily.

Tyson sensed something was amiss. He ordered the Black Rat King to deal with the Blood Rat King alone, then turned and ran back to the scene of the earlier fight. He quickly arrived at the spot and saw the corpses on the ground.

The two Tier-5 Vicious Dogs had been hacked to death, their decapitated bodies lying on the ground. The scene was enough to tell him that his other two men had met a miserable end.

If a Lifeline Beast dies, the contractor is typically crippled for life. Unless there are special circumstances, such as a specific talent or other rare factors, it is difficult to heal a damaged mental zone.

Even if the mental zone is healed, the contractor usually cannot tame a second Lifeline Beast. People with talents that allow for other options are extremely rare.

His men were not like that. Their lives as tamers were over. Still, he decided to check on them. He walked up to them and saw that their bodies were mutilated as well.

A terrible killing intent flashed in his eyes. He hadn’t expected the young Beast Tamer to kill them.

He found the boy to be strange. How could a mere Tier-3 Beast Tamer kill a Tier-5 Beast Tamer? Such "cross-kill" abilities only belonged to geniuses.

"Was he an S-Grade talent?" Tyson wondered.

Then he shook his head. If the person had an S-Grade talent, why would he be doing low-level missions?

What’s more, he had come without protection. All Tyson knew was that the Beast Tamer was from the Red Moon Chamber.
