Chapter 732: Spared him (Tyson Hill)

The Field

Tyson Hill looked for Nick. He wondered about his fate. Then, he saw smoke rising in the distance. Seeing that, he went forward to check.

He saw the damaged car and a corpse lying on the ground. Tyson recognized the corpse; it was Nick. His heart was already boiling with anger, and now that anger had grown.

Strangely, the Tier-3 Beast Tamer hadn’t targeted him and had escaped the area. Tyson thought his background must have deterred the person.

But he wouldn’t give up just like that. His men were dead. He was going to seek revenge. What was more, he didn’t know whether the person would leak his information or not.

If he doesn’t do that, he can eliminate him later, Tyson thought. If the young beast tamer does expose his activities, he will do everything to eliminate him right away.

Tyson figured out his plan. Next, he wanted the Black Rat King to kill the Blood Rat King faster. At this point, the Blood Rat King should be reaching its end.

Swoosh!

He ran back toward the Black Rat King. When he got there, he saw the Blood Rat King had lost the battle. Only a lingering breath remained. Soon, the last bit of vitality was gone.

The Blood Rat King died. Tyson heaved a sigh of relief. He collected the corpse and retrieved the Black Rat King. He was going back home.

There, he would let the Black Rat King consume the corpse of the Blood Rat King. He feared reinforcements could arrive if he waited here.

Swoosh!

He then left the place.

...

Red Moon Chamber

Jeremy Night returned. He paid the fee to the driver before going inside the building. In the lobby, Leader Melinda was walking back and forth.

The staff and passersby were taken aback by her actions. They knew something was up, but they didn’t know the exact details. They watched from the sidelines.

Melinda saw someone entering the building. When her gaze fell on Jeremy Night, she immediately rushed toward him.

"Come with me," she said, before taking the lead. Jeremy nodded and followed behind her.

Both of them went to the office. Soon, they arrived in front of the door and entered. Head Harold was already there waiting for them; Melinda had already reported to him. Harold was shocked.

He didn’t expect Jeremy Night to come across such problems. The situation was definitely a headache.

"Both of you, sit down," Harold said. They sat opposite him.

"Kid, Melinda told me everything. But I want to hear it from you. Tell us what happened from the beginning," Harold commanded.

Jeremy collected his thoughts. He started by telling them about the mission. The Blood Rat beast eradication mission had seemed easy to him, so he had selected it.

Then, he told them about his meeting with Staff Nick and his evil actions. They were using a suspicious green liquid to lure out the Blood Rat beasts in large numbers.

He then revealed the mastermind behind it: Tyson Hill, heir of the Hill Beast Taming Family.

After hearing about Tyson’s Beast Taming talent, Melinda and Harold were shocked. Jeremy didn’t hide the matter of the killings.

He admitted that he killed Staff Nick along with three members of the Hill family. He had spared Tyson Hill so as not to escalate the situation further. Otherwise, the Hill family would surely move against him.

A few minutes later, Head Harold fell into deep contemplation. He picked up his device and stood up. He told them to wait outside while he went to ring up a couple of friends.

...

Outside the Office

Melinda looked Jeremy Night up and down. A strange glint flashed in her eyes.

"You did well. The Hill family is one of the prominent Beast Taming families. Killing an heir is no small matter."

"Since his talent was related to the Blood Rat King, they could easily escape consequences from the Association. The Association won’t make things difficult for them," Melinda shared her opinion.

"When it comes to you killing their members, Head Harold will take care of it. The Tier-5 Beast Tamers tried to kill you, and you retaliated. So don’t worry," Melinda said.

Jeremy put his heart at ease. His assessment had been right; not killing Tyson Hill saved him from a much larger problem.

A few minutes later, Head Harold called them back in. He smiled and said, "I spoke with some of my friends, including those in the Association. They will send someone to investigate the site."

"We won’t face any legal problems, but the Hill family could still retaliate. Their members were killed by you, and their young master was the witness."

"They may try to harm you privately, so you have to be cautious," Harold said in a serious tone.

Harold suspected that Jeremy Night had exposed his true talent. Soon, many would learn of it. They might join forces with the Hill family to harm him.

It was only speculation, so he didn’t say it aloud. He then told them to leave, promising to call if anything else came up.

After walking outside, Jeremy thanked Melinda. They parted ways, and he headed back to his room.

...

Beast Taming Association

The higher-ups learned of the matter and immediately sent a team to investigate. It involved two major forces.

Tyson Hill had returned home. He didn’t bother to cover up the evidence because he knew no one could blame him.

Even the Central University 5 knew about his situation. They had told him to do it privately. If the public learned of this, it would cause widespread dissatisfaction.

There were Beast Tamers who had tried to contract corrupted beasts in the past; all of them had ended up dying.

Eventually, the human population succeeded in contracting regular beasts that were not bloodthirsty. Tyson’s actions would definitely stir up those old, dark discussions.

The teams quickly reached the fortress and headed to the field. Upon arriving, they came across the gruesome scene. The information provided by the higher-ups was correct.
