Hesabeth was really not used to romance, and this was the first time that she would go out of her way like this to try to seduce a man. Most of the men Hesabeth had considered marrying in the past had been the ones to come up to her, and they were all so desperately in love with her that she never had to bother putting any effort towards courting them. So right now, Hesabeth didn’t understand what Jason was talking about. But Hesabeth could tell that she was only making a fool of herself by acting like this. It was as though Hesabeth suddenly remembered that she was a queen and a prideful woman at that moment, and she just cleared her throat as she gently slid off Jason and sat regally on the bed!
Jason finally got up, and Hesabeth felt her eyes trail over the runes on his body as he stretched slightly while moving towards one of the doors in the room. Jason’s body and clothes had been cleaned, and he was currently wearing a pair of long white trousers that Hesabeth had picked out for him. Even while Jason was sleeping, Hesabeth had admired Jason’s well-defined muscles, and she wouldn’t deny that there were moments when she almost thought about forcing herself on Jason while he was unconscious. But Hesabeth wasn’t a prude who forced herself on a sleeping man, and at the end her self-control had won out. Jason reached the first door, and Hesabeth simply watched calmly. Hesabeth already knew what Jason was trying to do now, but Jason would be seriously disappointed when he realised that there was really no way out of here. Hesabeth hadn’t been lying when she said that she rented this room specifically to make sure that Jason didn’t suffer any serious side effects from his Blood Metamorphosis. This was a completely separate dimension that was locked away from the rest of the Primordial Expanse and prevented anyone from leaving or entering for a set period of time. Hesabeth set that time to exactly one week, and it isn’t until that time passes that they would be able to leave.
Jason walked towards one of the doors to his right, and he spoke to the system as he approached.
’Hey, you still there?’
The system immediately sent a prompt.
[Yes, the system is still active. The system has been trying to analyse the Blood Oath that the user consumed and ensure its complete absorption into the user’s DNA.]
Jason hummed with a small smile, and he felt a sense of calmness spread over his body as he also felt his Legion inside his Alternate Dimension.
’I’m still here as well, just in case you were wondering! I know you were terribly concerned about me, but you don’t have to worry about me at all, young man! I’m going nowhere! The great Esdeath cannot be killed off that easily!’
Esdeath’s pompous voice suddenly echoed from within Jason’s alternate dimension, and Jason couldn’t help but chuckle in amusement when he heard it! Jason would’ve normally been angry at Esdeath’s annoying attitude, but for some reason, Jason found a feeling of happiness rising from his heart when he heard the annoying bastard’s voice! Esdeath had really helped Jason a lot over the past few months, and Esdeath had also done his best to buy Jason time back when Jason’s mind was being corrupted by the Vympir toxin, so Jason couldn’t deny that he was happy to see the bastard was safe.
’I’m glad you’re alright, Esdeath.’
’Hohoho, of course you are. But there was never any need to worry, was there? The great and mighty Esdeath cannot be killed by a mere Vympir toxin! But if you feel the urge to focus even more on your Qi training because of my effort in preserving your life, then don’t let me stop you at all! Esdeath only boasted some more after Jason thanked him and Jason couldn’t help but sigh when he heard Esdeath mention more training! Jason knew that Esdeath was so adamant about training him because Esdeath didn’t want the technique of the Eastern Mountain Sect to go extinct, but Jason was far too tired to even think about training right now! Jason told Esdeath that he would come down in a day or two, and Esdeath wasn’t able to get another word out before Jason closed the connection between them and let out a calm sigh!
This was the first time Jason didn’t have to worry about one fight or another in a long time, and Jason was just happy that he survived all that madness! Jason grabbed the door handle and opened the door to peer inside the room, and he raised a brow when he saw that this was a large bathroom and toilet! It was so large that Jason was sure ten people could take their bath in there at the same time, and there would be no issues! What the hell? Jason just shook his head, and he closed the door and turned to another door while speaking to the system.
’Run a search on Hesabeth’s claims and see if she’s telling the truth about this world. Focus on the Blood Metamorphosis as well as the duration of isolation needed to complete it.’
The system responded quickly.

Jason frowned as he heard that last part. So he would be able to complete the Metamorphosis in three days, but since Hesabeth didn’t know that, he would have to stay here for seven days? That’s bullshit! Jason opened the second door in the room, and he was shocked when he saw that it was a large kitchen with utensils and multiple storage containers that had magical runes carved into them! Jason easily analysed the runes at a single glance, and he figured out that they were all runes for preserving food! There were freezing runes, heating runes, and even runes for stasis that would prevent food from aging at all! But none of that was what shocked Jason the most! Instead, Jason couldn’t help but stare at the three short creatures that were moving around the kitchen like a well-oiled machine!
The three figures wore a red, yellow, and blue cloaks, respectively! The cloaks covered their whole bodies, and there was a hood that covered their faces so Jason couldn’t see what they looked like. But they were short enough to be called dwarves, and once they saw Jason, all three of them stopped what they were doing and turned to him before bowing. Jason chuckled. Were these Hesabeth’s servants? They were pretty cute.
"Those three are my caretakers. I’ve had them with me since I was just a little girl. If you need anything at all, then don’t hesitate to tell them, and I’m sure they can find a way to make it happen."
Hesabeth walked up from behind Jason, and Jason felt her wrap a hand around his waist as she came to stand beside him. Jason turned to look down at her with a raised brow, and Hesabeth smiled at him confidently. It was almost like the shy girl that had been begging Jason to look at her only a moment ago was already gone, and in her place was the confident queen who wasn’t afraid to show her interest in the man she wanted! Jason shook his head at Hesabeth’s actions, and he turned and began to walk towards the final door in the room.
