Strongest Necromancer System-Chapter 723: Bishop Class Milestones
’Right, I need to come up with a new name for that bastard. Saying Beast of the Apocalypse all the time is a real mouthful.’
Jason frowned as he brought up the beast’s tab, and he hummed while trying to think of a name for it. The beast was a walking force of nature that could eradicate entire worlds on its own, so Jason wanted to give it a name that matched its destructive nature. Something related to ice and snow, and something that rolls off the tongue easily. Something like...
’Arcticus...?’
This thought suddenly passed through Jason’s mind, and Jason hummed. The name came from a book that Jason had read a long time ago about a wandering warrior who found himself trapped in a winter wasteland, and for some reason it just seemed to fit. Jason heard a loud bellow echo from within his Alternate Dimension as the beast appreciated the name, and Jason grinned at the approval, and he decided that this would be the Beast’s new name.
[Would the user like to change the name of the subordinate [Beast of the Apocalypse] to [Arcticus]? (Yes/No)]
Jason chose yes, and he watched as the system brought up the new system tab for Arcticus.
——
[Arcticus]
[Knight Rank I]
[Hierarchy Level: 7 [0%]]
[Subordinate Count: 0/1000]
[Upgrade Points: 0/1,000,000]
[Upgrade Limit: Knight Rank III]
[Independent Action: A Rank]
[MP: 3,000,000]
——
’Hold on, what!? One million!?’
Jason jolted in shock when he saw the number of upgrade points he would need to put in before he could upgrade Arcticus from Knight Rank I to Knight Rank II! It was absolutely insane! Jason knew that he had more than enough upgrade points for now, but he still thought that the jump was too steep! If the Knight Rank I required this many upgrade points to move to Rank II, then how many points would he need to put down to go to Rank III!?
"Mmh~ Jason~"
Hesabeth suddenly shifted around in bed as Jason jostled her slightly, and she pressed her face into the crook of Jason’s neck and wrapped a hand around his chest while raising her pale, soft leg up his thigh. Jason looked down at the sleeping woman with a look of annoyance. He was already stressed out enough about the crazy inflation rate the system was placing on him, and her actions were not helping matters at all!
’I should just throw her off the bed.’
This thought passed through Jason’s mind, and Jason just scoffed in amusement before he shook his head and stayed still until he was sure that Hesabeth had gone back to sleep. Once he no longer sensed movement from her, Jason turned back to the system and glared at the ’1,000,000’ again – as if glaring at it would help him change the number.
’Ah, forget it. I just need to kill stronger enemies to gain more kill points in the future. I have about five hundred million kill points right now, so that’s about five million upgrade points. I guess I’ll just work a bit harder from now on. Let’s move on.’
Jason finally turned his attention away from that tab and towards the rest of his subordinates, and he began to move Upgrade Points to them as well.
[Would the user like to send Upgrade Points to the selected subordinates? (Yes/No)]
Jason chose yes, and he watched as the upgrade points moved towards his subordinate tabs.
——
The user has consumed [482,375] Upgrade Points
The user has upgraded [322] Rook Rank III subordinates to Bishop Rank I
The user has upgraded [1543] Rook Rank II subordinates to Rook Rank III
The user has upgraded [1326] Rook Rank I subordinates to Rook Rank II

Jason let out a calm sigh when he saw this message on the system tab. Even though Jason had just upgraded thousands of subordinates, the fact that they were all below Bishop Rank meant that he didn’t gain anything significant from them. Jason was just so strong that something like this was like a drop of water in an ocean! The only thing that made any significant improvements was Jason’s mana, and Jason looked over to see that his mana had finally gotten past the fifteen million Mana Points mark.
——
Mana Points: 16,120,316
——
This was an amount of mana that would be considered absolutely absurd if anyone were to ever see it! Some of the highest ranking TITAN Rank beings in the Primordial Expanse only had about three to four million points of mana, and for a mage to reach past the ten million mark, they would have to either be a sage or a Primordial! But the fact that Jason had not only passed through the ten million mark but was now also into the sixteen million mark was absolutely unbelievable! Jason knew that he would never have to worry about having enough mana for any fight or experiment he had to do in the future. When Jason had been working with the first-grade rune [Cage of Eternity], he saw that the rune required five million mana points before it could be activated or deactivated. For most mages, that was an amount of mana that would take close to three years for them to gather! They would have to go around looking for high-ranking mana stones from powerful beasts or storing mana in mana-storage runes, and putting all of them together just so they could activate the rune! But that amount of mana was something that Jason could just throw away without even feeling any effects at all!

[Sanctuary of The Saint: This skill grants the Rooks the unique ability to mark a specified region around them as their ’territory’. Within this territory, all enemies will suffer a 50% reduction in their attack power, and all allies will receive a 100% increase in their attack power. This skill has a Mana consumption rate of 5000MP/sec for 10 seconds, and a cooldown time of 10 seconds.]
This skill is not evolvable.

[Diagonal Dominion: When this skill is activated, the Bishop will only be able to attack and hit enemies that are at a forty-five-degree diagonal angle to them. But in exchange for this limitation, the Bishop will gain a [Guaranteed Hit] effect that will ensure that all attacks will ignore distance or defences in order to guarantee a hit.]
This skill is not evolvable.
——
’Damn, those are amazing skills.’
Jason almost got up from bed in shock once he saw the skills that he had just gotten from the Bishop Class skill tree, but he suddenly remembered that there was a woman using him as a pillow, and he had to lie back down so he didn’t disturb her! Jason couldn’t believe he was able to cross two milestones at the same time. This was the first time something like this would be happening, and Jason knew that it was only because he had more than enough Kill Points to boost multiple Rooks into the Bishop class. Jason read over the skills again, and he felt a grin spreading on his lips. The first skill was already pretty awesome. Having an AOE skill that boosts your allies’ attack power while reducing your enemies’ attack power at the same time was very rare.
