Stuck in a Chinese novel-Chapter 431: Beginning of the End
Sorry for the break. I was thinking how to begin.
I'll recover everything by tomorrow, or the day after tomorrow.

"Wei Jun Ruan? A mortal, you mean?" A black haired man said as he looked at the reports carved on a golden paper on the table. Not just him, everyone at the table was reading those reports.
"Yes, Galliard. I mean a mortal." The man who had placed all the reports on the table and took the responsibility to brief everyone said.
"I don't see why this is a topic of discussion. We don't interfere in the matters of the mortals. We haven't for several millennia now." Galliard said, his gruff appearance giving him the look of a man who hadn't washed for several days.
"Not unless the mortal is causing the world to come to an end." A woman at the table said.
"Galliard is right, Lunia. I don't see why we should interfere with the matters of the mortal world. You know how strictly forbidden it is for us to interfere with the mortal world." Another man at the table said.
"I know you're right, Galland, but still, doesn't it make you worried that the world might come to an end due to the dimensional collapse. I know we don't strive for faith from them anymore, but we once used to live there." The woman, Lunia, argued her point.
It wasn't like the rest didn't agree with her, but...
"I think Lunia is going overboard with this." A gentle-looking man with golden hair and golden eyes said. He then continued to address everyone at the table, "I think it would be best if we left the mortal world alone for now."
"I still don't have a good feeling about this," Lunia said with dissatisfaction.
"What do you think, Luo? You're from there so you should know." Another woman at the table asked the only Asian looking man at the table.
"I... don't know what to tell you, Zara. The times when I was there and now are different. Besides, that is not the real place where I used to live." Luo replied. Everyone nodded. The world hadn't just changed, but the change that occurred thousands of years ago.
"The fall of the Ashguard empire was the beginning of it all." Zara, the woman who had a British accent at the table, said.
"Haa..." She sighed as she said, "I only wish another day like that doesn't come."
"That is the problem we're addressing now." The man who had briefed everyone said as he addressed everyone, "If this continued, then both dimensions where the central plains and the remnants of the Ashguard empire are stuck in a time freeze would assimilate with the real world. You know what would happen then, right?"
"Of course, we know." The man with golden hair said, "I understand your concerns well, Baghnar. As we have already seen, the dimensional assimilation has changed the world's structure by 2.5. An increase of more than two times is not small, but as of now, it is bearable."
"But what would happen if the world merged with the central plains and the remnants of the Ashguard empire? When then? Wouldn't it be too late to do anything then?" Baghnar, the man briefing everyone, questioned.
"While it is true we cannot let the monstrosity caged in the central plains be free once again but even if the central plains were to merge with the real world, he is still too deep to come out. It would be impossible for him to return." Galland, who had personally faced the monstrosity imprisoned in the central plains, said. He was well familiar with the danger to the world, so he was also well aware that there were several countermeasures in place.
"Then what about his servant? Have we been able to find him for all this time?" Lunia questioned.
"One mortal is of no concern." The golden-haired man said.
"You know very well he was a simple mortal as well. When he was born, he was nothing more than a child of a concubine, a mix-breed with impure blood, yet he rose above everyone and cemented his title as the 'Angel'." Lunia argued.
"Haa... This is never-ending." Galliard said with a sigh.
"How about we come to an agreement that we can all come together to face him if he were to ever come out again?" Luo asked after seeing that the conversation never seemed to be making any progress.
Half of them were assured that he wouldn't be able to make it out, while half of them, those who had faced him, were scared. They were strong, yet they weren't embarrassed in the least to use the word 'Scared' because that was how strong the entity inside the central plains was.
Last time they had his son, but this time, there was none of his kin left. Afraid that his children would also turn out like him, the rest had asked them to enter the world of never-ending illusions on their own, stuck in the world of their hatred.
They knew the risks, and even though it was the betrayal of the highest kind, they couldn't face the entire world together. The only one they couldn't force was his strongest son, the one who had made their victory possible.
If they were being honest, it was he whom they feared the most, and faced with his retaliation when his brothers and sisters were betrayed, they were helpless and would have lost had his siblings not controlled him and entered the hells of their minds on their own.
Seeing his siblings willingly sacrifice themselves to save people, he lost the will to retaliate, to their relief, and left the world on his own. Where did he go? No one knew. But wherever he went, he remained a threat to the world.
But, what could they even do if they were to face him? He was the second worst after his father, so if more than half of the world was destroyed facing the father, the same would be for the son, which was why, when he left peacefully, the remaining powerhouses of the world never bothered to bother him ever again.
"What about them?" The very people that were on Luo's mind were suddenly brought up instead of a reply to his question.
"Absolutely not!" Lunia slammed her hands on the table and stood up, "Do you think they would forget everything after what we did to them? It would be lucky if they didn't destroy everything around them!"
Lunia was against it. Her fear was more than others because although she hadn't seen his strength, she had seen the son's strength. And she had to admit, he was simply a walking calamity.
"He must be long dead by now, Lunia. Even if we were to release his siblings from prison, there would be no need to worry about him." The golden-haired man said.

"And what about them?" Lunia asked.
"Do you really think they would pose a threat? After hundreds of thousands of years, do you really think their minds would be sane? It would be a miracle if they managed to keep their sanity and remain human." The golden-haired man said with scorn.
"They're his children. It would be better if you didn't underestimate them too much." Luo said with utmost severity.
"Haa... This is never-ending." Galliard once again said. Seeing him sigh again, everyone had no choice but to agree to Luo's suggestion. For now, they would simply wait and see how things would unfold.
After a while, when everyone had left one by one, only two people remained in the room.
The golden-haired man and...
"So it was him?" Anger coursed through him. The earlier nonchalance in his behavior was nowhere to be seen. Writhing with anger, he turned to the golden-haired man and asked, "What do you plan to do about this, Michael? He seems to have defeated the latest pawns."
"What do you mean by what do I intend to do now, Galliard?" Michael asked in the same gentle manner as always, "Of course, there is only one fate for the insect who gets in my way."
"I see." Galliard couldn't help but shiver a bit.
But...
There was something else. His anger, as usual, that took days to calm down, went down too easily.
"What?" Michael asked.
"Is he-- Is the real you also coming?" Galliard asked.
"Haha. You know he can't come to this dimension." Michael said with a soft chuckle.
"But Guardian--" Galliard began to argue but Micheal shut him up by simply saying, "Guardian was incomplete. I am not."
Sensing the slight anger in Michael's soft voice, Galliard gulped and remained silent wisely.
"Anyway," Michael said as he looked at the picture displayed on the golden tablet in his hand, "I think there's a need to make some changes in the plans."
"How so?" Galliard asked.
"We cannot let him be freed. Deploy all three pawns at once." Micheal said before he inhaled deeply and then exhaled as he uttered the final words, "It is time to end this."
