Supreme BeastTamer: I Can Copy and Upgrade Skills 10x!-Chapter 658: Demonic Wings
Chapter 658: Demonic Wings
Nox’s eyes practically glowed with excitement when he saw the dark wings sprawled out from the demon’s back, like those belonging to some fallen angel.
This wasn’t the first time he had seen a creature with wings. However, the difference was that the wings belonging to those other creatures were a part of their very body, therefore they couldn’t be copied.
Even the flying Valkyries he had encountered in Valhalla—those wings were an integral part of their bodies.
However, this one right here was different. The wings weren’t part of the demon’s body; rather, they were a skill it had learned.

As soon as Nox accepted the skill, a pair of massive demonic wings with razor-sharp edges sprawled out from his back.
"What the hell!" Jack exclaimed, eyes widening in shock.
The only ones who didn’t seem surprised were Wendy, Nyx, and Serena, as they already had an idea of Nox’s unique skills.
Akira had also seen him do something similar back in Valhalla. Still, she was quite shocked and amazed by the sight.
With a powerful flap of his wings, Nox slowly rose into the air.
The higher demon was stunned when he saw the wings behind the human. Although they were bigger, more beautiful, and obviously more powerful, he could still tell they were nearly identical to his own.
"How did he—"
FWISH! BANG!
The higher demon didn’t even know when a fist slammed into his face, sending him crashing to the ground.
FWOOOSH!
As he fell, he saw a lone figure hovering in the air, wings fluttering gently.
’When did he get close to me!’
The next moment, his eyes shrank as his opponent moved once more, disappearing from his line of sight.
The next thing he knew, he felt a sharp pain from his back. A pain so powerful it could drive one mad and make them plead for their tormentor to end their life instead.
Soon, he saw it. One of his wings was in Nox’s arms, slowly melting away in fragments. Yes, it was a skill, but ripping it off was just as painful as if it had been made of flesh.
With a cold expression on his face, Nox flapped his wings, soaring further into the heavens while watching the descending demon like a godly existence.
FWOOOSH!
The higher demon’s hair stood on end as his body continued to plunge downward, the wind rushing past his face. Another wing grew back, and he tried to stop his descent or at least reduce the momentum, but it was impossible.
His expression grew paler and paler with each passing second.
The demons below panicked when they saw their leader’s fall wasn’t stopping despite his desperate efforts.
One after the other, they began to scramble from the spot he was plummeting towards.
However, Nox didn’t plan a simple fall for the demon... he had other plans.
He stretched out his hand, a deep orange flame burning with frightening intensity began to form. The flame rapidly grew, pulsing with raw power until it became the size of the sun.
The day was slowly growing dark, but with the presence of the flaming sun above, it seemed as if the entire town was in the middle of the afternoon.
The demons became even more terrified when they saw this sight.
"He’s going to kill everyone!"
"Fucking human lying bastards!"
"That thing... how do we escape it... it’s growing larger by the second."
Nyx frowned when she saw what her brother was attempting to do. She could tell that the moment he dropped that attack, the entire town—which wasn’t even as big as the Cromwell Barony—would be obliterated from existence.
"Are you really sure about this?" she asked in a concerned voice.
"Yes, I’m sure of this," Nox said, his voice dripping with confidence. "We’ll continue this with all the towns after rescuing the people."
"But doesn’t that mean you’ll destroy all the towns in the western region?" Jared voiced his complaint loudly.
Although he respected and adored Nox since the fight summit years back, right now, his actions didn’t seem well thought through. They were irrational and reckless.
Why couldn’t they just wipe out the demons, cleanse the town, and bring the people back to their homes? Or could it be... he was planning to take advantage of their current situation?
"I have mainly two reasons I’m doing this," Nox stated, not even looking back at his teammates.
"First reason: I want to clean up the towns as fast as I can before more reinforcements arrive.
"You all saw it yourselves—the demons in the capital are at least a million plus. If all of them migrate to the west, they’ll use the towns as shelters. But if we get rid of the towns, they’ll be exposed, with nothing but tents."
The slight anger on Jared’s face began to calm down when he realized Nox was making sense. They saw how the demons had taken key locations in the capital, turning them into bases.
They had already done that here with the captured towns. Surely, even if they rescued the humans, the demons would still use these towns as their bases, and they couldn’t afford that.
"As for my second reason, I want to build a safe place where everyone will live together," Nox smiled. "And what better way to do that than by getting rid of the old?"
It was at that moment that the flaming sun approached the ground.
The demons were horrified when they felt the heat on their skin. The heat was so intense that even without the flame reaching them yet, their flesh was already being scorched.
Some of the weaker ones were incinerated to ashes even before the flame got close to them.
Finally, it descended.
BOOM!
Blackout.
The entire town was obliterated.
A flashbang the size of a sun rose into the sky that evening. From all corners of the west, the demons and members of the Flaming Rose saw it, and they instinctively felt that their reign would soon come to an end.
