Chapter 220: Chapter 44 The Safe Return of Adrian_2

He lounged in the hot water, listening to List’s report.

"The Undead Tribe has started planting. The plains near our territory are almost completely sown.

They seem to want to create something unique, so they specifically asked about the colors of the Srei flowers and the sizes of the trees.

They also asked if they could take some seeds back to plant in their own land. I agreed, as long as they plant at least eighty percent of it around here."

Hill nodded, it was good as long as they planted nearby. Whenever he had time, he would go outside to sprinkle some Nature’s Blessing to help enrich the soil.

"Lily of the Valley," List hesitantly said, "I’ve heard that they can plant Magical Plants further afield. It seems to have spurred a lot of seeds, spreading chaotically with the wind every day. She’s becoming more and more fond of gossip. I originally warned her to keep away from Mr. Fran’s territory.

But after Mr. Fran found out, he took a branch with him.

I’ve ordered her to sever the connection with the branch as much as possible, but she says it can’t be completely cut off."

"Grandfather knows what he’s doing; he’s probably planning to place it with the foreign mages. It won’t have much impact."

List nodded and continued, "Mr. Adrian will be here in about an hour or so."

Hill abruptly stood up, hurriedly got dressed, preparing to fly over, "Next time, can you prioritize news like this?"

"But my core really felt the earlier matters were more important," List said innocently, "There’s plenty of time!"

Hill directed the puppets to tidy his clothes hastily, and shot into the sky, feeling helpless. List already bore a strong human resemblance, but sometimes, he really wondered if the problem lay in his own settings, always surprising him.

Hill flew above the Lord’s Mansion, gazing out toward the eastern sky.

It wasn’t long before he saw a black dot appearing in his field of vision, flying rapidly toward him.

Hill’s face broke into a wide smile, and he couldn’t help but wave his right arm energetically.

As the figure drew closer, he shouted loudly, "Uncle Adrian!"

Adrian flew right up to Hill, reaching out to touch his head, "Hill, I’ve worried you. But it’s always been worthwhile and I’ve returned safely."

"Why are we talking outside?" Fran frowned from the window, "Hurry up and come in!"

Adrian and Hill exchanged a smile, not daring to keep Fran waiting any longer, and flew straight into the room through the window.

The normally orderly study room of Mr. Fran now had its desk put away, with just three comfortable single sofas arranged around a large coffee table.

The coffee table was piled high with various foods, all of Adrian’s favorites.

There was even a bottle of Crystal Mystery. This liquor was Adrian’s favorite, and Hill could tell that this particular bottle was aged for a very long time.

Adrian, who was greeting Fran, had already glanced over at the Crystal Mystery several times.

Fran waved his hand in resignation, signaling Adrian to help himself.

Watching Adrian glide towards the bottle, Hill chuckled and took his seat behind Fran.

"Two hundred years old!" Adrian exclaimed, holding the bottle and admiring it as he turned it in his hands.

"Go ahead and drink," Fran said lazily, reclining on the sofa, "Originally, there was a dozen of them, but I suppose you know why there’s only one bottle left."

Adrian stiffened, then could only say dispiritedly, "At least let me bask in the happiness a little longer, teacher."

"I just hope that in the video of the Undead Tribe’s sea battle, there’s no footage of you on top of the Turtle Demigod." Fran said deliberately, "But I seem to hear rumors that your relationship with that ’Young Master’ is now very good."

Hill looked down and chuckled to himself: Adrian definitely rode on top of it.

First, high-fiving the eight-armed War God, then playing war games with the Mosaic Demigod, Adrian was having a blast.

"How did you know, Teacher?" Adrian, resigning himself to his fate, directly opened a bottle of wine and poured himself a glass. As long as he could drink, it didn’t matter that he couldn’t get his hands on the other bottles. "Miller’s Legend, wasn’t it the one where nobody said anything and just went straight to His Majesty the King?"

"You gave away the Shell pool Hill made for you to that young master, didn’t you?" Fran picked up a cup of fruit wine and slowly sipped it. "The Undead Tribe here who take on missions are quite envious. They were discussing it yesterday."

Hill silently hung his head, as if it was his fault Adrian was in this predicament, after all the Undead Tribe had come in such numbers to plant flowers and grass for him.

"Why are you still at Hill’s place, Teacher?" Adrian changed the subject. "I almost thought you were waiting to go back with me, I’d be so flattered!"

"Kexlote’s Alchemy Factory has been blown to smithereens." Fran didn’t indulge his mischievous disciple. "I’ve expanded this place here at Hill’s, just in time to build some new big machines, and you’ll be joining in."

Adrian was suddenly disheartened, "I got a lot of materials from the Deep Sea Demigod, wanted to develop some Potions."

"Heh." Fran let out a soft chuckle.

Adrian quickly pulled out a tortoise shell and handed it to Hill, "This is from the Turtle Demigod for you. I don’t know what’s inside, he sealed it up."

Hill gazed at the shell intently, "A Legendary shell, wow!"

He excitedly cradled the tortoise shell, with this it was all worth it!

Adrian had a crab shell of his own, while Hill looked on wide-eyed: It’s Mosaic’s, right? Those full white dots on the shell, it’s all toxin! Adrian only dared to pinch one claw on the side.

"This might be the first crab shell from the Mortal World you’ve got your hands on, right?" Fran was also a bit surprised, "And it’s Legendary no less, given to you by a Demigod? What did you give in exchange?"

"Young Master went with the Mosaic Demigod to my place to drink water and break the Demon’s Curse, even planned to feed the Demigod." Adrian confessed, "The pool Hill made also has strong detoxifying functions. I was worried that the water would even detox the Mosaic’s internal toxins, so I gave them a specific Purification Elixir to drink."

Hill felt that Adrian had already become accustomed to referring to the Embroidery Ridge Ripe Crabs as Mosaics.

"After drinking back and forth a few times, one Demigod asked me if I was afraid of their body toxins." Adrian spoke frankly, "Actually, I’m not, as the toxins on their shells are not as strong as the ones inside their bodies, and how could a Demigod not control their own body toxins.

Then he just carried me on his back, they didn’t want to keep running back and forth just for the Purification Elixirs.

I was casting Magic on the back of the Demigod, worked well together, and we would chat during breaks.

They knew I was delivering goods for Hill, so they asked me if I could make those boxes.

I told them I brought them, but they didn’t have the same effect of Nature’s Blessing like Hill’s.

They asked me to show them, and they really loved them. They bought all of them."

Adrian took a big gulp of the Crystal Mystery and leaned back on the couch, sighing, "No wonder Hill said to make it resplendent and flamboyant. The Mosaics saw it and bought everything outright.

Afterward, when I went outside, the other half of the Mosaic Demigods waiting outside were very angry. It was only after I said to come back next time that they didn’t start a fight."

"They only snatched those made by you," Fran mused, "Even though they knew you were delivering for Hill, they didn’t dare to snatch them. With so many Demigods, and all from one family, they didn’t dare to make a peep, this old Turtle Demigod is quite powerful!"

"Very powerful," Adrian said slowly, "After reaching the Deep Sea, that Bex came out to meet me. Even though he’s Legendary, he wasn’t afraid of the few Demigods by my side at all.

At first, I didn’t realize, but later I discovered that the very large island we stopped at was actually that old turtle.

Our ship wasn’t even as big as one of his claws."

Hill interjected, "How did you break the Divine Seal? Was it the World Will that shattered the relationships of those Divine Kingdoms?"

Adrian nodded, "The old turtle said, that affiliated Dwarven God of Forging’s Dwarven God, is actually a Water God concocted by the Dwarves themselves. He cooperated to create an Abyssal Gate in the sea."

"So Spring Water knew how to open the Abyssal Gate because He taught them, right?" Hill couldn’t help asking, "At that time, Spring Water had just been born not long ago, I wondered how He contacted the Demons!"

"The old turtle said the same," Adrian sighed, "The Dwarven God of Forging and the Elven Goddess of the Hunt, tens of thousands of years ago, were already Deities, who knows when they got in touch with the Demons, or how they were tempted. Now that they have fallen into the Mortal World, they must be reviving within their own races. What will happen with the Dwarves and Elves, nobody knows."
