Chapter 221: Chapter 45: Diplomatic Meeting, Arrival of Dwarves and Elves

List suddenly appeared, "The giant screen has been opened, operated directly by His Majesty the King."

Fran raised his hand, and the three of them in the center, along with the coffee table, floated to the window.

He glanced at Hill, "Turn all the windows on this floor into the type you have in your study! I’ll add a protective barrier."

Hill nodded and directly transformed the entire wall into crystal floor-to-ceiling windows. Although they were less secure than the old-fashioned sliding windows, they provided a convenient view of the outside scenery.

Marsha quickly appeared, instructing the puppet to add soft, flowing, translucent curtains on the floor-to-ceiling windows, then gently pulled them closed, leaving only the section in front of the three of them open.

Fran nodded in satisfaction, "Hill, as the Tower Spirit of the Lord’s Mansion, you really do quite well in daily life aspects."

Marsha performed a curtsey joyously before vanishing.

Adrian took advantage of William’s absence from the screen to hurriedly drink two glasses of wine.

Seeing Hill’s surprised look, he grinned, "I feel like no good news is coming; don’t let it spoil my enjoyment of the wine."

In front of the camera was the Royal Palace in Kexlote.

Serious-faced nobles were slowly progressing along the red carpet laid from the main gate of the Royal Palace to the King’s Hall.

They reached the long stairs in front of the King’s Hall, where they stopped and stood in two rows, facing each other, leaving the central red carpet pathway open.

"Is there a foreign messenger coming?" Adrian was a bit surprised, "They’re here so soon? What happened?"

After the nobles were positioned, the King’s Guard dressed in gold and white formal uniforms, holding long swords, marched into the Royal Palace, also lining up on both sides of the carpet at the base of the stairs.

After this ceremony, the camera turned towards the direction of the Royal Palace’s main entrance, where several carriages stopped at the entrance, and people began to disembark and walk towards them.

"Buxton’s Foreign Minister: Riddell Buxton, along with accompanying personnel," someone calmly narrated.

Hill almost laughed, that minister seemed aware that the whole of Saral might see him, and he walked very stiffly.

But since he was the first to come in, it meant, at least, that Buxton had a tendency to form an alliance with Saral.

And they’ve perfectly sandwiched Noah in between! William really is a man who clearly distinguishes friends from foes, a vengeful yet virtuous person!

"Salabia’s Foreign Minister: Augusti Salabia, along with accompanying personnel."

"Greenberg’s Foreign Minister: Vasili Greenberg, along with accompanying personnel."

Hill, listening to this and bypassing Noah from the north to the south, watched the four nations’ ambassadors walk slowly through the corridor where the Saral nobles stood and take their seats in the King’s Hall, waiting.

The last few carriages stopping told him there was a good show coming.

"King of Noah Country: Harvey Noah, along with accompanying personnel."

With a splutter, Adrian painfully watched the sprayed wine and moaned, "Ah~ doesn’t the King of Noah have any shame? What is he doing?"

Hill was also shocked, looking at Fran who couldn’t control a stiffening moment.

The order of these people’s entry into the Royal Palace must have been made known to the King of Noah by Saral’s side. Yet, he still had the audacity to walk into the King’s Hall behind a group of foreign envoys, who at most held the rank of prince; it was truly unimaginable.

No wonder Adrian, who sought amusement in drinking, ended up choking; they all thought it likely that Noah’s Crown Prince would come to suffer humiliation and scolding. No one expected the King himself to take the initiative!

Hill had initially thought that several carriages following would contain ambassadors from Dionysio, but right after the King of Noah, it was the Mage Council’s envoy and the Dilante Mage Tower’s envoy who entered.

Both these countries possessed the reality of statehood but did not have kings, being governed solely through councils.

The Mage Kingdom was ruled by a council composed of twelve Legendary Mages, and the Kingdom of Female Warlocks by six Legendary Female Sorceresses, but there was a Circle of Elders, which included all the legendary warlocks of the world.

If Hill became a legend, he would also receive an invitation from this nation, asking him to become a member of the Circle of Elders. He wouldn’t refuse, for this served as a warning to the nobles on this continent not to turn warlocks into slaves, or else face merciless vengeance from the closest legendary warlock.

"If Dionysio isn’t coming, who else could it be? Those smaller countries couldn’t have the capability to arrive so quickly, could they?" Adrian asked curiously, "Bringing a prince from Greenberg flying over would take a Magister half a month."

The carriage door opened, and several Dwarves descended. Dressed formally, they solemnly walked on the red carpet.

"Dwarf Kingdom’s Envoy: Teraj Hammer, along with accompanying personnel."

Hill looked at Adrian, "You just came back from there, how do you know nothing?"

Adrian shook his head, "I really don’t know anything. I just know Miller’s Legend grabbed a huge box and flew straight back to the Capital. I knew the King was going back, but it’s been so long, and Demons dared not come anymore, there really was no need for the King to stay there any longer!"

"On the ship, did Miller make a move?" Fran suddenly asked.

"No, he was always controlling the ship’s Crystal Cannons to fire at the Abyssal Gate, inflicting considerable damage on the Demons. Actually, there were quite a lot of Demons, even Mosaic the Demigod was quite exhausted from fighting."

Fran nodded, not saying anything more.
