The hatred burning through their gazes was so intense that it made the hall stuffy, but I stood my ground, staring at Noah who was disoriented. At that moment, I could tell he felt small, he couldn’t even look at me and that is how it works with men... when they feel like they cannot protect you, it takes a huge chunk of their egos away.

My gaze strayed to Leonard who has been quiet through everything. There was no expression on his face either so it was difficult to tell if he was ecstatic with the way everything was turning or if he was angry because they were bullying his son in his presence.

A few moments later, my newly appointed PA arrived with a flash drive. I thanked her and asked her to leave with also the servants present in the hall. When I was sure that the people present in the hall were just the pack elders, officials and me and Noah, I walked over to the projector and inserted the drive.

Then picked up the remote and came to stand in front of them.

"Do you know that the easiest way to grow wealth is not just by saving but also by investing? So, spending the money is not the problem but replacing it. You can spend all you want, buy all the luxury items in the world and remain rich in as much as there is something that returns the money either weekly, monthly or yearly. Now, when I first took over the finances of Moon Whisper, it was in a mess. There were a lot of things unaccounted for and I had to tackle that for nearly a year before there was a boost in our finances but..."

I faced the screen and the first thing that showed was a page that contained all the Pack Elders and Officials in Moon Whisper. There was another page dedicated to Noah and his family but I was going to get into that later.

"I discovered that a lot of things do not match. Moon Whisper is a big pack, one of the biggest in the Eastern Region right and we have about two million wolves living here excluding children the majority of the population lives mostly in the upper towns and they’re mostly Deltas, Gammas or Betas and the lower towns or villages are where the Omegas, slaves and the rest lives. Now, I noticed that a huge chunk of allocation..." I paused and flipped through my phone.

"I am talking 200% more than the original amount that should be given to these parts is allocated and then if you go to those lower parts of the town, it’s a slum. They do not have access to a lot of infrastructures and..."

"Is there somewhere you’re going with this?" The elder that had been so vocal, interrupted me.

"Yes!" I smiled at him "And since you’ve spoken first, I shall talk about the findings I made about you," I winked and went back to the screen moving to the third slide. Our dear Elder Peter is in charge of the lower towns... and one of the acting committees for bringing infrastructures to them but it may interest you to know that nothing has been done for more than 10 decades now and yet every year.. month, money is being pumped there,".

"What do you mean?" Noah frowned "The reports I get to speak of development and resources being distributed to the people. There is also picture evidence,".

"No, my darling husband," I shook my head "Those were all made up. If you go to the lower towns and villages, it’s a slum. I promise you; you’d think you’re in another world altogether. But do you know what’s very funny, Elder Peter has three companies that of course are not registered in his name or the name of any of his family members which anyone who is taking money illegally would do and these companies are direct contractors to Moon Whisper. Meaning, the company that is in charge of providing health equipment belongs to Elder Peter. He doesn’t own a part of the share, but everything which means he’s the President... the CEO... the everything. And this company charges five times the usual amount,".

"That...that’s not true," Elder Peter stuttered giving me a haunted look "I do not know what you’re talking about,".

"You do and there is a lot of evidence. Stay with me..."

I turned to the screen and moved to the next slide. It was filled with pictures of Elder Peter taking several photos with his staff and people who worked with him.

"Also, he’s in touch with the housekeeper of the Pack House who makes sure to buy from a designated company that supplies everything the Pack House needs. Most times, payment is done thrice before a supply is done, so you can imagine and the owner of this company belongs to another pack official but since I haven’t gotten to the person yet, no need to call names, I don’t want any of us to be confused,".

"Anyways," I continued "The ratio is 5% of the allocation for the supplies to the pack house and then some of the people involved in this heist take 10, others 5, some other 2... you, know depending on what role you play. The riskier your role is, the more your share. Your majesty," I turned to Noah "What I’ve found, in the few days I’ve worked as the Luna... because I cannot get access to the information that I am allowed as a mere financial advisor but all I can say is you are surrounded with thieves.
