The Art of Chaotic Divinity-Chapter 1217: Dont Even Think About Tricking Me
Slap, slap, slap!
Ling Feng gently tapped Lan Yuhuang a few times on the cheek, hoping to wake her. To his surprise, however, the veil covering her face was knocked off.
Sure enough, Lan Yuhuang's beauty was absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, her skin had gone pale as paper, completely destroying the charm she usually carried so effortlessly.
"Mm..."
She murmured and blinked open her eyes. When she saw Ling Feng's familiar face, she whispered weakly, "Fatty, you died too?"
"You are the one who died. I don't go down that easily."
Ling Feng shook his head, suppressing a smile. She must have thought they had both already gone to the Yellow Spring.
"So... I am not dead yet."
She leaned against the cabin wall, feeling every ounce of strength leave her. A green nail was stuck in her chest. The bleeding had stopped, but every breath felt like knives tearing at her lungs.
"You got lucky. That nail was less than an inch from piercing your heart. If it had gone any further, not even an immortal could have saved you."
Ling Feng retrieved the Vermilion-Eyed Ice Silkworm and spoke calmly. "Luckily, your cultivation in toxic arts gave you a unique body. Otherwise, the demonic qi would have transformed you before I could even use my Vermilion-Eyed Ice Silkworm to save you."
He paused briefly. "Hold still. I am going to remove that nail."
Lan Yuhuang bit her lip and looked at him. "Fatso, lend me your arm for a moment."
"My arm?"
Ling Feng's brow twitched. Before he could react, she leaned forward and sank her teeth into his arm. Puffing out her cheeks, she stuttered weakly, "If... If you hurt Grandaunt, I'm going to... bite... bite you to death!"
Ling Feng felt a surge of disbelief. This woman was ruthless, even when half-dead!
"Fine. Suit yourself!"
He focused on her chest. Her clothes had torn, revealing what should have been flawless skin, now marred by blood and jagged wounds. Ling Feng suppressed a grimace.
"Stay still!"
He inhaled, then ripped the remainder of her top away.
"You... You... Hmph!"
Lan Yuhuang's anger and embarrassment mixed. She glared at him and ruthlessly bit his arm again.
"Foolish woman!"
Ling Feng shot her a look. He then pressed a few precise points on her chest to stem the bleeding. In the next instant, he yanked the sharp nail free and tossed it aside.
Lan Yuhuang's pupils shrank. She bit him again, nearly fainting, but managed to endure.
Ling Feng pulled back his arm and saw his forearm was already gushing blood from Lan Yuhuang's bite. Shaking his head, he gave her a few medicinal pills to swallow, and while he was at it, applied some medicinal powder to the wound on her chest. Only after completing all of this did he take out a clean piece of clothing and drape it over her.
"There. You are not going to die now. Do not forget my Blood Jade Silkworm!"
Ling Feng gave a light snort, too lazy to care about the woman biting him. All his efforts were purely for the sake of the original deal.
"Damned Fatty!" Lan Yuhuang muttered. "You just saw me naked and all you care about is the Blood Jade Silkworm!"
"It was so bloody, you think I want to see it?"
Ling Feng snorted and walked away, ignoring her. He gathered the dimensional rings from the Bald Blade Emperor and Madam Zhuqu.
After the long effort, he would not leave empty-handed!
Both had valuable treasures, and Madam Zhuqu's Heaven-Thunder spirit liquid could resist the deadly sword qi outside the ship. Ling Feng would not overlook it.
The Nine Nether Profound Sword was also far too valuable to ignore!
As for Lan Yuhuang, she could only watch as Ling Feng collected every bit of loot from the bodies. Surviving was already a blessing!
It took her more than half an hour to regain a little strength. She clenched her teeth and glared at Ling Feng. "Fatty, were you the one who took off my veil?"
"So what if I was?"
Ling Feng curled his lip. "Do not tell me you come from one of those tribes where whoever lifts your veil becomes your husband. You won't trick me with those old rituals!"
"You!"
Lan Yuhuang's mouth twitched. "I trick you? Take a good look at your own face first!"
She almost spat blood again. In her clan, unmarried girls always wore a veil, and only their husband could lift it on the wedding day.
However, just a glance at Ling Feng's face...
She had forced herself to accept that he had seen her bare face and told herself she could endure it since he had saved her life. She never expected this damned fatty to act pleased about it. Her patience cracked on the spot!
"Grandaunt swore long ago that whoever removes my veil will be killed by me!"
Lan Yuhuang gritted her teeth.
"What is wrong with you? Switching moods this fast is impressive, but at least recover first before you start acting like some ungrateful ghost!" Ling Feng stared at her, completely baffled.
"Hmph. You saved my life, so one life repays one life. We are even now!" Lan Yuhuang shot him a fierce glare. She wanted nothing more than to bite him again and finish off this shameless fatty.
"That will not work. You still owe me a Blood Jade Silkworm!"
Ling Feng lifted an eyebrow and let out a quiet laugh. "If you want to deny the agreement, then the deal is off. Killing you would not take any effort from me."
"You treacherous fatty!"
Lan Yuhuang cursed inwardly. She never imagined that she, a Human Emperor, would be toyed with like this by someone who was not even king tier.
"Hehe, you should probably just own up to the deal."
Ling Feng walked over and lifted her into his arms. Lan Yuhuang's expression changed at once, her face filled with alarm. "What... What are you doing?" 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞
"What do you think? I am getting you out of here! You want to stay here? Go ahead, I won't stop you!"
He shifted his hold as if he were about to toss her away.
"No, take me with you. I want to leave this place!"
Lan Yuhuang quickly wrapped her arms around his neck and refused to let go.
Ling Feng shook his head with a quiet laugh. He remembered how she had instinctively tried to save the Bald Blade Emperor earlier. Her temper might be strange, but her nature was not bad. If she had been truly vicious, Ling Feng would not have bothered saving her in the first place.
