Wu Yuchen and her husband’s fifth anniversary party was held on Thursday evening. The two initially planned to take Xu Yisen’s private plane to F City on Wednesday morning.

"When are you coming back?"

"Still on Sunday. The company doesn’t have any significant matters for me to handle these days, so I can take a few more days off."

Seeing that he could take a few more days off, Qin Muni was naturally happy to go to F City earlier to hang out with Wu Yuchen.

Xu Yisen turned his gaze towards the window, where the dark night sky was adorned with many diamond-like sparkling stars, and a crescent moon cast soft moonlight down.

Qin Muni also looked at the night scenery outside the window and asked, "Did the news say what time the meteor shower will be?"

"No."

Xu Yisen shook his head, reached into his pocket to take out his phone, and opened Weibo to recheck the post from the meteorological bureau.

Upon a closer look, he realized... that post seemed to be a repost from two years ago today, meaning there was indeed a meteor shower two years ago on this day, but definitely not today.

Xu Yisen calmly put his phone back into his pocket and gracefully picked up the wine glass in front of him, sipping the red wine.

"Any updates?"

Xu Yisen put down the wine glass, looked at Qin Muni across from him, and shook his head, "No."

"Then let’s wait a bit."

"Alright." Xu Yisen nodded without changing his expression, then slowly turned his gaze again towards the quiet yet splendid night sky, a trace of guilt subtly flashing between his brows.

The two silently gazed out the window for a few minutes until suddenly a doorbell sound interrupted.

Qin Muni raised her eyebrow slightly, "Who would be looking for me at this hour?" She muttered as she slipped off the window seat, put on indoor slippers, and walked out of the room.

Xu Yisen watched her petite figure walk away, and then turned his gaze back to the window.

Qin Muni went downstairs to the door, and when she opened the monitor, she was surprised to see five familiar figures standing outside, each holding two bottles of wine, which made Qin Muni sigh and laugh.

She reached out to turn the doorknob and opened the door, glancing at them amusedly, and teased, "Judging by your setup, you’re planning to drink Yisen under the table tonight."

The first to respond to Qin Muni was Liang Jiuchen at the forefront, "Sis, Yisen is just too tricky! Even if you stare at the night sky all night, there won’t be any meteor shower!"

After receiving Xu Yisen’s message earlier, Liang Jiuchen opened Weibo and saw the meteorological bureau’s repost. He guessed Xu Yisen might not have looked closely at the date and thought there would be a meteor shower tonight, hence ditched them.

They had a discussion and naturally couldn’t let Xu Yisen get away with it so easily, so they decided to come to Qin Muni’s house to disturb their romantic evening.

Qin Muni was slightly surprised, then laughingly said, "He sure has his ways. He’s in the guest room next to my room on the second floor, go and call him down while I prepare some snacks in the kitchen for you."
