A few people were clearly intending to give Xu Yisen a hard time tonight. Munni was crying and laughing at the same time as she turned to let them into the house.
Liang Ziyuan and Liang Jiuchen went upstairs to find Xu Yisen, while the others sat on the sofa waiting. Munni went to the kitchen to prepare wine glasses, placed them on a tray, and brought them out to put on the coffee table.

When she visited the restaurant today, she happened to bring back fresh sashimi and caviar. Munni took the sashimi and caviar out of the fridge and arranged them on a plate.
She then took out some edamame and cooked it, before pouring it into a plate and also preparing a fruit platter. She placed them on a tray and brought the snacks to the living room for them.
Meanwhile, Xu Yisen was being teased relentlessly by his group of friends in the living room for his tendency to forget friends when he sees a girl. Everyone seemed rather displeased.
"Munni, tell us, isn’t Yisen being too much? It’s hard to get him to hang out with us, and before we reached the KTV, we were suddenly informed we’d been stood up!"
Xu Zhenhai pointed at Xu Yisen, looking disappointed, and complained to Munni about him.
Liang Ziyuan helped by taking the tray from Munni’s hands and arranging the snacks on the coffee table.
Munni glanced humorously at the innocent-looking Xu Yisen and laughed, saying to them, "He’s indeed unreliable; feel free to make him drink tonight, I permit it."
The words were barely spoken when Xu Yisen protested helplessly, "Munni, is it really okay for you to betray your boyfriend like this?"
"Munni is the sensible one. Yisen, stop whining and drink first."
Xu Zhenhai took a whisky poured by another friend and handed it directly to Xu Yisen.
Xu Yisen had to accept it, casting a slightly aggrieved look at Munni before lifting the glass and downing the drink in one go.
"You guys enjoy yourselves. If there’s not enough food, there’s more in the fridge and other nuts and snacks in the cupboard. Help yourselves."
"Alright, thanks, Munni."
Munni nodded and left the living room, heading upstairs amidst everyone’s gaze.
She entered the study, picked a book from the bookshelf, and returned to the guest room to sit at the bay window, enjoying her book while snacking on some fruit.
All the liveliness downstairs in the living room was sealed off by the soundproof door.
The room was completely silent, so quiet that she found it extremely pleasant.
After an hour and a half, Munni put down the book and rubbed her slightly sore eyes, then stood up from the bay window to stretch.
She meandered out of the room, planning to head downstairs and see how the others were faring.
As she was walking down the stairs, she could hear Liang Jiuchen singing with drunkenness.
Munni knew that Liang Jiuchen, who had been all fired up about getting Xu Yisen drunk, was already drunk. Whenever he had too much to drink, he liked to sing random songs. Fortunately, his singing wasn’t too terrible, or nobody would ever dare get him drunk.
When she arrived at the living room, she saw someone already lying on the floor, and Liang Jiuchen was still struggling, looking as though he was not far from collapsing.
Four people were still sitting on the sofa, and apart from Xu Yisen, the other three had faces flushed red. In contrast, Xu Yisen remained calm and collected, unaffected by the chaos.
Seeing Munni appear in the living room, Xu Yisen lifted his head, gave her a smile, and patted the spot next to him to invite her to sit by his side.
"Munni, you’re here! Xu Yisen is too treacherous! Really too treacherous!"
Clearly, the plan was for everyone to get Xu Yisen drunk. However, Xu Yisen suggested playing dice, and they called a nearby supermarket to have dice delivered to them.
