The Billionaire Twins Need A New Mommy!-Chapter 780: Can Move?
Hours earlier—around the same time Atlas received the phone call about Charles’s accident—the three-man group had expanded into a much larger unit, thanks to Vito’s "generosity."
Scarlet, Haji, Yuri, Chuck, Vito, and Vito’s grand entourage flew from the land of sand and gold to the Holy Land of the Church.
Following Yuri’s plan, they rerouted their flight and infiltrated the Church using her knowledge of its inner workings.
It impressed Vito greatly. He had never figured out how to infiltrate the Church where Farah—his enemy—was hiding.
So, by the time Atlas arrived in Anteca, their group had already begun blending in. They were there even before Lola and the others were brought in. They had also overheard conversations among the holy knights and learned about the attack on the Order, and that Lola was being transported here.
Blending in wasn’t difficult.
But the place itself felt wrong.
Everyone seemed to get along. It looked like the epitome of peace. Yet the air carried something unsettling, something impossible to ignore.
"What in the world is wrong with this place?" Haji muttered, dressed in holy knight attire. Walking beside him was Yuri, clad in a nun’s habit. "Everyone’s busy, and no one has recognized us yet."
Even the priests and nuns they passed simply greeted them politely and moved on.
"It’s because the Church looks united on the surface," Yuri replied quietly as she stopped before a door. She knocked once. When no one answered, she opened it and peeked inside. "They’re not here."
She stepped forward as if the place belonged to her.
"What does that mean?" Haji asked curiously. "And why are we checking this room? I saw another place that looked way more suspicious. Shouldn’t we be looking there?"
"I’m looking for the Mother Reverend."
"Huh?"
"She’s highly influential in the Church—elected by the Pope himself," Yuri explained calmly. "Weren’t you listening to my briefing on the way here?"
Haji grimaced. He was assigned to guard Yuri. She was brilliant, but not exactly a fighter. If cornered, she would probably spill everything before anyone even threatened her.
"The Supreme Holiness—the Pope—is old and ill," Yuri continued. "The Cardinal has been running the Church. But from what I’ve discovered, aside from the Cardinal, no one has seen the Pope in years. Even audiences require the Cardinal’s approval. It would be foolish to assume everyone is content with that arrangement."
Haji frowned as if hearing this properly for the first time. "Right... I think you mentioned that. Wait." He narrowed his eyes. "That sounds like—"
"The Governor of Ashkar," she finished without hesitation. "Where do you think Vito learned that strategy? He might not be stupid, but none of his ideas are original."
"Wow. You really hate him, don’t you?"
"After this, he’s the one I’m capturing," she said without missing a beat. "Do you know how high the bounty on his head is?"
Haji’s face twitched. "That’s your motivation?"
"What else?"
"...Morality?"
Yuri shot him a sidelong glance before looking away. "You two would suit each other."
"Huh?"
"She likes you," Yuri said vaguely. "She probably doesn’t realize it yet."
"What the hell are you talking about?" Haji scowled, more irritated than flustered. Yuri had been hinting at this even before hearing rumors within the Order.
This woman really was one of the sharpest minds of their time.
"I know," Yuri said lightly. "Because I, too, once found myself drawn to a man full of... morality."
Haji stopped mid-step, blinking in surprise. He stared at her back, confusion etched across his face. This was hardly the time for this conversation—they were racing against the clock to find Lola.
But before he could stop himself, the words slipped out.
"You think?"
Yuri paused and glanced back at him with a soft chuckle. "If I can uncover the Church’s secrets, do you really think I wouldn’t notice something that simple?"
"...."
"Let’s go. Think of how to woo her once this is all over. Otherwise, her interest might just wane," she hummed, continuing forward. "We need to find the Mother Reverend before Vito loses his patience. That ticking time bomb is a liability. If not for his forces, we wouldn’t need him at all."
Still, since they were the first to infiltrate, Vito’s manpower was necessary.
Haji blinked, shook his head, then hurried after her. "Hey, wait!"

Meanwhile, men hid in the dark corners of the largest church in the Holy Land, gearing up as they awaited the green signal.
These were Vito’s forces, trained under a new curriculum he had adopted from Ashkar.
"Take your stations now—over," a voice crackled through their radios.
"Right side secured."
"Heading to position."
"Northern section secured."
As they settled into place, they had no idea another group had also positioned themselves within this sacred ground.
The Shadow Order.
Unlike Vito’s men, they carried heavier, more destructive weapons—ones they hoped they wouldn’t have to use.
But if Atlas failed to neutralize the situation, this entire place would burn.
And while all this unfolded in the Holy Land, Atlas was being transported in a helicopter, Marceline’s and Draken’s unconscious bodies beside him.
"Sir, the Holy Land is in sight," came a voice through his headset.
Atlas turned toward the window, his expression dark.
"Prepare for landing," he ordered. "Right in the center."
"Yes, sir."
The helicopter shifted course, heading straight toward the main church where the Cardinal awaited.
As they approached, Atlas drew a slow breath and closed his eyes.
When he opened them again, he glanced at Marceline and Draken lying beside him.
"Let’s end this."

At the same time...
"Lola!" Derek shouted, nearly choking when her body twitched. "Lola! Are you alive? Can you hear me?"
"Ugh," she groaned, wincing.
Instinctively, Lola pushed herself upright, clutching her head. "My head feels like it’s going to burst."
Derek stared at her in stunned silence.
"Lola..." he trailed off as she looked at him. "You..."
"What?" she asked dryly.
His finger trembled as he pointed at her. One hand held her head. The other supported her against the concrete floor.
"You... you can move?"
"Huh?" Lola blinked and looked down. She used the hand that had been paralyzed to steady herself.
It moved.
She stared at her legs and tried pulling them closer.
They moved.
"I..." she whispered, shock flooding her voice. "I can move?"
