Kaiden took her to the other side of the bedroom and placed her on the desk which was mostly empty except for a few files and documents that were neatly placed in a corner.

"Kaiden..."

Emily found herself calling his name when she realized exactly what was going through his mind. And while her body was still sore, she felt a heat rising throughout her entire being that anticipated what was coming.

She must have really lost her mind!

Emily gasped in alarm and quickly darted her eyes at him. His cerulean eyes stared back at her with a very familiar look in them that she recognized immediately as she had seen it the night before.

His gaze trapped her and she couldn’t move at all even if she wanted. He had been staring at her all this time, and she could feel his gaze turn heavier.
