The Celibate Tycoon Has Fallen-Chapter 78: Afraid They’ll Find Out You Went to That Kind of Place?
"Mom, I’m back."
Lindsay Walsh was busy in the kitchen, and the house had been tidied up, looking neat and clean.
Anne Hughes placed the flowers she bought into a vase and set it on the dining table, "Sis, do you think these flowers are pretty?"
"They’re pretty."
"The girl at the flower shop sold them to me cheaply, it only cost me fifteen bucks." The so-called vase was actually an empty soy sauce bottle.
Yelena Hughes smelled the fragrance of the flowers, "They smell lovely."
Previously, besides Justin Sutton sending flowers, the family never bought such "luxuries."
"Mom, weren’t you going to the hospital? Why did you make so many dishes?"
The small dining table was almost completely filled; it wasn’t even this lavish during New Year.
Lindsay Walsh brought out the steamed bass, not knowing when the guests would arrive, and the dishes were getting cold.
Ding dong—
The doorbell rang just at that moment.
Yelena Hughes, not knowing who it was, walked over to open the door, and when she saw the man outside, she hurriedly tried to close it.
Jasper Yale stopped the door with his foot, "Is this how you treat your guests?"
"Yelena, hurry up and let Yale in, I invited him."
Yelena watched helplessly as the door was pushed open. Jasper’s tall figure filled up the already cramped living room. He handed the bag in his hand to Lindsay Walsh.
"For you."
"No... no, I can’t accept this."
Jasper didn’t like the back-and-forth, "It’s not anything expensive, just a scarf."
Upon hearing this, Lindsay reluctantly accepted it.
But she didn’t recognize the Hermes logo on the bag.
Jasper then gave another gift to Anne Hughes, beautifully packaged cosmetics, "Take it, it’s not worth much."
Yes, not worth much—a jar of cream costing tens of thousands.
Anne didn’t know this and accepted it, "Thank you."
"I’ll stir-fry another vegetable dish and we can have dinner. Anne, come help me with the dishes and utensils."
"Okay."
Seeing the two busy around, Yelena hurriedly pulled Jasper aside.
The man stood still, "Don’t touch me, say whatever you have to right here."
"Why are you here?"
"Didn’t you hear your mom say? She invited me."
Yelena didn’t dare raise her voice, "You could refuse."
"She pleaded with me."
Her face fell, eyes showing a hint of pleading, "Master, enjoy your meal, but don’t say anything inappropriate later, okay?"
"They still don’t know what you do at night, do they?"
Yelena felt as if her throat had been seized. Watching as Jasper asked in the direction of the kitchen, "Can I have a look around?"
Lindsay cheerfully responded, "Of course, Yelena, show Yale around."
The house was small, with nowhere much to go.
Jasper had already lifted his foot before Yelena could take him on a tour. He didn’t head to her room, having seen it before and even laid on her bed, it no longer intrigued him.
Yelena saw him heading towards the bathroom and quickly blocked his path.
"Master, our bathroom is tiny and cluttered, not much to see."
Jasper pulled her arm aside and opened the door to find it, indeed, small.
It was no exaggeration, maybe just three or four square meters, with a small sink crowded with their toiletries.
No room for a bathtub, just a small shower area.
"No wonder you’re eager to get a new house."
Yelena trembled upon hearing this, afraid her mother would hear.
"Later, don’t mention me wanting to buy a house."
"Why not?" Jasper’s gaze fell on her face, and then understanding, "Still worried they’ll find out you went into one of those places."
As he spoke, he stepped inside. His height made his head nearly touch the ceiling.
Standing there, barely any space left, "You think I’ll listen to you just because you ask?"
"Master, just have your meal without making things difficult for me."
Jasper stared at Yelena through the mirror, "Why are you standing by the door? Come in."
She stepped inside, and Jasper, with an unreadable expression, looked at her, "Close the door."
"Do you need the bathroom? Then I’ll leave."
Jasper held her by the shoulders, closing the door with his other hand, movements smooth like a dance, pinning Yelena against the door.
He leaned in, pressing against her back, his chin resting on Yelena’s head.
"We’ve tried it in your room, liked it. I want to try it here too."
Her shoulders twitched, "Don’t joke around, mom’s just cooking a dish..."
"A quick one will do."
Yelena’s ears burned; this was her home, how could he be so brazen?
"Master, the worst thing is stopping halfway, right? You see, you’re so well-dressed, messing it up later wouldn’t look nice."
Jasper whispered, lips brushing Yelena’s ear, chuckling lightly, the end of his voice curling as he tore her shirt’s hem.
"You’re right, I should maintain my image."
Just as Yelena’s body began to relax, something felt wrong.
His hand slid down her waist; she was wearing an elastic waistband skirt, and his fingers easily slipped inside.
Shame and disbelief colored Yelena’s face instantly.
She bit her lip, but a soft moan escaped involuntarily.
Turning his face, Jasper saw her every expression, "Have you missed me?"
He contemplated the uncontrollable desire in Yelena’s eyes, her face flushed and warm, pleasure wrapping her like silk.
Tingling, numbing.
He listened to the change in her breaths, all his doing.
"You do miss me. Your body already told me."
Yelena bumped into his embrace, hearing Anne’s joyful voice from outside, "Sis, it’s time to eat, so many dishes!"
Jasper stepped back, withdrawing quickly.
Though the discomfort wasn’t his.
Yelena fled, opening the door, taking just one step outside, to see Anne.
Anne approached her, "Time to eat."
"Okay."
Jasper turned on the faucet, "Let me wash my hands."
Yelena wanted to quickly pull Anne away, but heard Jasper ask, "Where’s the soap?"
"We don’t have any!"
Anne thought her sister was lying and quickly went in, grabbing a bottle to place by Jasper’s hand.
"Thank you." The man was polite and noble, yet really a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
He pressed the soap into his palm and rubbed it; when Yelena turned back, she saw the foam covering the distinguished lines of his fingers.
He washed carefully, especially paying attention to two particular fingers.
Jasper glanced up, a mischievous curve on his lips, "What’s so fascinating about hand washing? Watching so intently."
