THE CEO AND ME!-Chapter 183 - CLOSING A CHAPTER OF THEIR LIFE TOGETHER!
PRECAP
"What you did...do you know the intensity of your action?? Your action will grow a girl to have a hard time trusting in love again... every time someone else in the future would say 'I love you!' to her...she won't believe, not right away...not the way she had trusted you..."
Tears spurted out from Madi's eyes as she did not dare to part her eyes from Tinsley's firey ones, spitting fire at her way.
"You are no different than Kian or Josh or my father.."
And a hand clap was heard against Tinsley's cheeks. Madison had slapped her, for daring to compare her as in the same line as those man.
"We have failed...failed miserably, Madi!!"

Tinsley patiently waited for his secretary to call her in, sitting in the waiting area.
It had been a week since their last encounter in their shattered bedroom. The picture of the moment was very lively in her mind.
Dressed in the white frock she had left, she was losing hope every second that if this might or might not work well.
"You can come in!"
The secretary gave her a head up. She stood up. She had not bothered to give her real identity to them in the reception that she was indeed the wife of their boss.
She herself was not sure how long that would be lasting? Their marriage was hanging on a loose thread and she did not even know the life expectancy of the thread either.
One wrong move and the thread would break, jeopardizing everything about life in present and future.
She straightened the crease of her dress and then walked behind the secretary, following after.
Kian was watching the view outside from the glass wall. He had no idea how he was going to face her.
Not because he was regretting his decision of letting her go or be angry at the fact that she had been residing in his arch-nemesis home?
The door hung open and in came, Tinsley. She had never been to his new office. And today, she was here.
Kian turned around and for the first since the week, their eyes interlocked but he parted them off of her the first.
There was an awkward silence. They both did not know how to confront each other...trying to find their way back to where they had left.
He was her husband. The man, she had fallen in love with in her childhood and how to get back with him when he had told her so boldly that he had never found peace with her...
She could not find a leftover connection between them that could surpass the peace that he had claimed he found with her...Serena.
Nor she knew of any way to tell him that they really had lost their second offspring.
She was his wife, who had claimed to be in love with him since their childhood days and even though not he did not have quite clear memories of any of it, he still sort of tried to take her word for word.
Yet she turned out to be the woman, who became the reason behind his and his dead mother's separation, causing her death and changing his life forever.
How was he to live with her now, accomodating the truth and the lies together...the betrayal...the ache and the pain??
"How have you been?"
She was the first to break the silence. He looked up at her face...the fact that he could not go a second without kissing or caressing...now he had a hard time, matching his eyes with her even for the flash of a second...because it made him have those memories flashback in his mind.
"Alright!"
His answer was brief and monotone. She nodded her head. There was a distance of only a few meters between them.
His big glass table was a barrier between them...yet it felt like he was miles away from her reach.
"I thought..."
"Why are you, here??"
Kian interrupted her in the middle. She stood, a bit taken aback by his tone and rage.
"I...ugh...came to talk about us??"
Tinsley let out, being confused herself. On coming here, she was confident to resolve the matter...to tell him her side of the story, the truth that had been misinterpreted by the people who did not like seeing them together.
"What is there to talk about us??"
Kian questioned her back. She could not give him an answer right away. She licked her dried lips and he parted his eyes away.
"Right...since there is nothing to talk about, pray leave...I have work!"
He was very politely asking her to fuck off and she understood that. She tried to stand still on her ground, trying to act unfazed by his cruel words.
"About what happened..."
"I do not need to know what you have been doing with that bastard in his office...I do not need to know if it were really you who told your monster of a father and fucked up my life...the simple conclusion to this is...I do not need to know anything that's related to you...I curse the day you showed up again to only fuck me twice the first time you did...."
Kian spat out. And Tinsley could see that he was not over it. He could never be over it.
Valeria had done her job. She had dropped the very bomb, that she was afraid would tear open the pillars of her marriage.
Regardless, she did not understand what he meant by spending the night with whom?? She had no idea about that.
"I never told my father about..."
"Did not I say?? Or are you fucking dumb?? I do not need to know!!"
Kian stopped her in the midway again. She did not allow her to be emotional or sentimental to his words.
"The day we had kissed, Josh..."
She tried to continue but Kian did not want to hear. He had heard her enough...listened to her happy days, go round memories enough. He had made up his mind and there was no changing it.
"As I said, I do not need to know!!"
And angrily, he threw the gas slab right behind the wall where Tinsley was standing and it broke, shattering into pieces.
Tinsley gasped, bringing her palms to close her mouth from screaming. The secretary heard the noise from outside but did not dare to get inside to check. Their boss had been angry since the past week.
"Would have been so better if I handed Josh his contracted slut? Would not it?"
He very cruelly remarked, a sadistic mocking smile taking over his face and it was her cue...her cue to know that they had gone to the point of no return.
It was very hard...very difficult to watch your marriage being destroyed, ruined, shattered into pieces of all the good and bad memories together...right in the front of your eyes.
Yet there was nothing she could do anymore. Things had gotten too far. The match stick had been lit so much before that the house was already in ashes before she could submerge the fire off.
Most of it all, it was heartbreaking to see your own husband...the love of your life actively participating in breaking the bond that connected them...instead of standing beside her and fighting together to save it.
Kian could not live with her...knowing the truth now, he could never even dream of staying in the same room as her and to be breathing clearly?
Her mother must have come to this point too where their marriage had already broken with her father.
But she had decided to stay and try to fix it or die with it? Tinsley had no idea what had led her mother, Marshally Rutherford to go on living in a marriage to kill herself daily.
And here she was, she had come to that point of no return too. She knew that he was never going to see her the same way. They had reached the point of no return.
Yet she would be willing to stay...if only if...she was going to ask him that...if he did feel for her...even if it was the breath of a needle, she was going to stay.
"Could you ever love me?"
She asked and waited, patiently for a few seconds for him to answer. And when those seconds turned into a minute...she had gotten her answer.
A lone tear escaped from her evergreen eyes, realizing it had indeed come to an end.
She rubbed the tears off and gave him a peaceful smile. It reflected so many emotions that he could not pinpoint.
"Have a nice day, Mr Randall! Thank you for all your time!"
It was the last thing, she had said, before turning back and walking away, closing the door behind her...closing a chapter of their life together...her life with him.
