The Cursed Triplet Alphas' Fated Mate-Chapter 30: argument
Chapter 30: 30: argument
Sue
My cheeks flamed brightly as I tried to pull away from his grip, but his grip was extremely strong, pinning me in place. I was so annoyed, if I had a knife on me right now, I’d have stabbed the three of them with it. If I also wasn’t in a towel and nothing else; I’d have tried to use some of the martial skills I have against them— but even I know that would be pointless because I was already outnumbered since I’m just one and they’re three.
When Angelo stepped before me, I wanted to avert my gaze but also didn’t want to give him the satisfaction of seeing me glancing away. He grinned down at me before leaning down a little.
"How was your night, kitten? Did you dream of me?"
I stiffened at the sound of that nickname Becker spluttering, glaring daggers at him.
"Don’t call me that! And I did dream of you, I dreamt of stabbing you with my knife." I hurled at him but his grin only brightened while Landon laughed behind me. Damon let out a scoff like he was bored from his spot across the room.
"Do we really have time for this, guys? Didn’t we come here to deliver a message to her?" Damon demanded and Angelo’s smile faded a little as he pulled back then turned to face Damon.
"We’ll do just that, brother. But a little fun wouldn’t hurt." He pointed out and Damon said nothing.
When he glanced back at me, he looked me over for a few seconds and I swallowed, my throat feeling dry.
"Did you really sleep well?" He asked and I pursed my lips, glaring at him instead of responding.
He sighed after a few moments. "Go get dressed then, we want to discuss something important with you, except you wanna do that in your towel?" He continued and I squared my jaw.
"I never wanted to meet you all in my towel, you forced your way in here without knowing." I snapped and Angelo didn’t look apologetic at all as he shrugged.
"Go get dressed." He said this time and I scoffed.
"You don’t tell me what to do." I told him and he laughed, an eyebrow raised.
"So you’ll have this conversation with us here in your towel?" He demanded and I squared my jaw, torn between saying yes just to have the last word, but I know I’d never be comfortable in just a towel.
"Will you let go of me now?" I said to Landon this time, and surprisingly, he loosened his hold around my waist, but not before leaning down to graze my ear with his lips as he whispered a response to me.
"Okay, stunning."
Once his grip loosened, I whirled around, intending to slap him and warn him to stop touching me against my will.
However, before my wrist could connect with his cheek, he caught my wrist and used it to tug me flush against his chest.
"Don’t even think about it, gorgeous."
I spluttered, rage burning within me as I stared up at Landon.
At first, I used to think he was the chillest and the most easy going among the three of them. How wrong I’ve been. He was the complete opposite of what I expected him to be. He doesn’t know how to kill his filthy hands to himself and I hated that each time he sat those hands on my waist, it made my skin feel like they were being scaled by his touch.
"Just stop touching me everytime." I hurled at him and he rolled his eyes, his grip still firm around my wrist as he leaned down a little.
"Why would I not touch you?"
"Because..,"
"You’re my fated mate, Sue. I’ll touch you if I want." He drawled after cutting me off and I let out a disbelieving sound as I stared at him.
"Bastard." I bit out while he scoffed.
"Oh, yeah? Let me guess, you hate me so much, right? That’s what you’re gonna say next." He drawled and I bristled because he was right and I didn’t want him to know that, so I bit down on my next words despite how hard it was. The way he was clearly amused with a grin was proof enough that he was aware that I was forcing those words down, and my hatred for him worsened.
"I... just, let go of me." I finally mumbled, eyes pointedly avoiding him and this time, he loosened his hold without question.
I tried to elbow him, and again, he blocked the hit, moving super fast, faster than air. I gaped at him as he grinned at me from the other side.
I blinked slowly, staring at me as it slowly dawned on me that the triplets definitely had some sort of powers. At that very moment, my first encounter with Angelo resurfaced in my mind, of how he teleported out of the cell I locked him up in, and now Landon could move faster than air...
Those weren’t attributes of werewolves.
When I faced them, Angelo had a knowing look on his face. "I know you have questions, kitten. Just go get dressed, then come back, then we’ll talk."
He ordered. I wanted to refuse the order but to avoid dragging this out than it has already been, I swallowed emptily and turned away, knowing that they were all staring at me as I walked off into the adjoining room where my closet was located.
There, I quickly got dressed, putting on whatever I could find and ensuring that I was decently dressed in a pair of leggings and a crop top, then I stepped back into my bedroom.
The triplets were all sitting in my bed, and I stopped right in my tracks, eyes jumping between them. They looked so big right in my bed, taking up almost all the space there and I gulped, my throat running dry at once.
I jolted when Landon patted the middle of the bed where a gap was left in, "come sit here, stunning."
