"What did I interrupt? A conversation?" She demanded as she faced Landon again, then she let out a scoff.

"You were literally about to kiss her when I arrived." She added and at once, my face flushed red as my eyes widened.

Was that how we looked to her because of how close we were??

Landon snorted, then he cocked his head sideways. "Aren’t you leaving yet? Staring at your Face is giving me a headache." He snapped and at once, she bristled, her hands turning to fists at her sides.

"Aren’t you Damon’s mistress?" She addressed me this time but I pursed my lips, choosing not to respond. That made her let out a scoff as she looked at me from head to toe, her nose scrunching up like she smelt the most disgusting thing ever.

"You’re all bedding her despite her being Damon’s mistress, right?" She faced Landon as she spoke and at once, my face reddened. I was glad that she was no longer facing me and that the sky had darkened even more.

"How much longer are you all gonna continue that childish act? Still sleeping with the same woman? How classless!" She yelled and Landon arched a brow her way.

"Don’t get too mouthy right now, Gina. Last I remember, you initially wanted to get into the three of us’ beds, at the same time." He drawled and Gina’s face reddened with embarrassment and rage.

She opened her mouth to say something but this time, Landon ended up shunning her with a raised hand.

Her mouth opened again like she wanted to say something snd he clicked his tongue once. She ended up swallowing the rest of her words, but she shot me one last king look before whirling around and leaving.

I let out a small exhale, my mind reeling as I stared into space.

"Why didn’t you deny that you and your brothers are... are doing that with me?" I demanded when he faced me again.

He arched a brow at me, folding his arms before finally speaking.

"You mean fuvking?"

My cheeks heated up as I reluctantly nodded my head.

He snorted. "And why the hell would I do that? When you’ll soon be introduced to everyone as our mate." He demanded and I shook my head.

"I still think..." I was still speaking when he suddenly stepped so close, I reared back on instinct but it didn’t create much space between us.

"I was thinking, won’t you like me to fuck you?" He asked, completely unashamedly and I spluttered as I stared at him.

"What?" I whispered, my mind reeling hard and he shrugged.

"So, what’s your answer?"

"Absolutely not. Why- why would I ever want that?" I demanded while still staring at him with disbelief brewing within me.

"Cause you’re an adult who definitely has urges too." He pointed out and my cheeks colored as I coughed awkwardly, then I tried shoving at his chest so he could step back, but he didn’t budge. Instead, he caught my wrist in his hand snd dragged my hand up to settle it over his shoulder, making us get even closer than we were a moment ago.

"Answer my question, stunning." He instructed and again, I struggled to remember what his initial question was because being this close to him was not only affecting me physically but also internally.

"I- I..." I struggled to string a sentence and he let out a low laugh, one that grated on my nerves, not just because it felt condescending and mocking, but also because it made my stomach suddenly clenched tight.

"Are you struggling to think because of me standing this close to you?" He murmured against my ear this time, and before I could even do anything else, he was biting on the lobe of my ear. That made a low sound spill past my lips.

The sound caught me off guard and left me feeling confused and utterly mortified, and with all of my power, before I could think twice of what I was about to do, I kneed him between his legs.

He instantly doubled over as he let out a pained groan, and when his sharp eyes settled on me this time, void of any playfulness, I swallowed emptily, my heart flying into my throat at once while my heart began to pound hard.

"Sue!" He gritted and I flinched, my eyes widening as panic filled my insides as I watched him double over in pain while cradling his junk.

I didn’t think twice before I did what I did, it was a heat of the moment thing, because I wanted him to step back from me.

When he rose to his full height again, I felt like I had to defend myself when his eyes locked on my face again.

"I- you were standing too close to me! Don’t you know what personal space means?" I hurled at him but he scoffed while he combed his fingers through the air.

"And that’s why you dared to kick me?" He continued and I bit at the inside of my cheek before shaking my head.

"You were standing too close, it was self defense! I won’t apologize." I breathed out and he scoffed out a laugh as he stepped closer. My eyes widened and I instantly stepped backward, but I quickly realized there was no place to run to with a pillar behind my back right now.

"Self defense?" He crooned, his eyes unreadable and stormy as he placed one hand by my hand, making me gulp as I stared up at him.

"You call that self defense? Self defense from what?" He continued and I gulped again, struggling for how to word my next response when he continued again.

"You were breathing hard. Goosebumps were over your bare arms. You let out a fucking whine. You were trembling against me. Do you know what all those symptoms told me? That you were fucking turned on."
