The Dark Extra: Awakening of SSS-Skill Demon Emperor Legacy-Chapter 80: Silva Party Adventurer
Chapter 80: Silva Party Adventurer
"Where are you taking us?" Silva asked, still wearing her mage robe.
"There’s someone you need to meet. This is about Agares."
Silva fell silent. Throughout her journey in the dungeon from floor 1 to floor 55, she had failed to meet Agares—even finding a trace of him proved impossible.
She always hoped that with each new floor, she would at least learn that Agares had been there. But after defeating dozens of floor bosses and hundreds of minor monsters, she found nothing.
There had been moments of despair, frustration, and the urge to give up. But Silva pulled herself together, realizing her mission was important—not just for herself, but for her friends and for Agares.
Thanks to this dungeon, they had advanced to stage four, level two, whereas before they had been stuck at stage three, level five.
They had also gained a lot—gems, cores, weapons, and rare alchemist materials not easily found on the surface.
’Agares! Where are you?’ Silva wondered.
Their steps came to a halt in front of a two-story mansion—Milenia’s residence. Two gatekeepers opened the gate after spotting the crystal stone guard arriving with the adventurer party.
The demonkin man knocked gently. A woman in a maid outfit answered. She, too, was a demonkin, employed by Milenia to serve as her assistant in the house.
"Nan?"
"Oh, you work here now?" Nan said, greeting his friend, Lin.
"Yeah. Lady Milenia hired me last week."
"That’s good to hear."
Lin glanced behind Nan and saw the adventurer party—all mages, consisting of three men and two women. Her gaze returned to Nan.
"Are they—"
"Is Lady Milenia free right now?"
The maid shook her head, saying that Milenia was currently entertaining a guest. Maybe they could meet her after she was done with him.
Loud moans and gasps suddenly echoed through the mansion, startling Silva and her four companions. Nan looked up and sighed.
"Looks like their session will be over soon."
"Um... who is Milenia? We’re here to see Agares, not Milenia," Silva asked.
"Milenia is the ruler of this city. She’s the one who decides whether you’re worthy to meet him or not."
"And that sound?"
"Oh, that’s just her work. She’s sleeping with her guest."
"What?!" Silva was shocked.
She never imagined the ruler of Midgard worked as a prostitute. Silva glanced back, seeing doubt on the faces of her companions.
They all thought this was getting weirder by the minute.
"Come in. Wait in the lounge. I’ll let you know when she’s done," Lin said. Nan cleared his throat in agreement.
Nan and Silva’s party entered the mansion. They looked around at the architecture, furniture, and interior—it all looked luxurious, as if they had entered the home of an imperial noble.
Silva and the others sat on the couch while waiting for Milenia to finish her "work." Nan stayed nearby, talking with Lin about recent events in the city.
Thanks to Milenia’s previous rules, the city was far more orderly than before.
Three other adventurer parties had come looking for Agares, and they had been allowed to stay—with one condition: they were not to cause trouble in the city.
They were only allowed to go after Agares outside the city, specifically inside the dungeon. That left them no choice but to follow Milenia’s orders.
Not long after, a muscular human man walked down from the second floor, wearing only black pants.
His face was glowing with satisfaction and joy. Silva saw his expression and was stunned. She hadn’t expected this kind of business to exist inside a dungeon.
"So, more guests?" Milenia asked.
A beautiful woman in a revealing dark blue dress walked gracefully down the stairs. Nan stood and bowed, as did the maid. Silva and her team, however, did not.
Milenia opened her charming eyes, glanced sideways, and noticed another group of adventurers had come to her house looking for Agares.
The woman sighed, surprised that so many people from the surface were after Agares.
"Are you here to find Agares?" Milenia asked.
The men were stunned—faces red, eyes wide and glowing without blinking.
What they saw before them was a woman who looked like an angel—flawless skin, a stunning face, and long, wavy black hair.
"Is she a goddess?"
"I wouldn’t mind sleeping with her. I’d pay anything."
"You idiots!" Silva snapped, snapping them out of Milenia’s charm.
Silva stood up, bowed in front of Milenia, and got straight to the point. She explained that their visit and their party’s purpose was to find Agares—nothing more.
"If you meet him, what will you do?" Milenia asked.
"I’ll talk to him and bring him home!"
"HAHA!"
"Other parties said they’d kill him, cut off his head, and take it to the Grand Empire. But your answer is different."
"That’s because our goal isn’t to kill him—but to make him talk," Silva said firmly.
Milenia fell silent, staring at Silva’s face. There was a clear look of hope in her expression. Unlike other adventurers who hunted Agares for money, Silva had a different reason.
"What’s your name? What’s your relationship with Agares?" Milenia asked.
"I’m his friend. We were both chosen heroes. But I don’t know what happened to him that made him act like this."
"This isn’t something he wanted—it’s Caer Vireth’s doing."
"No!"
"It’s because of your Grand Empire’s fear."
"What do you mean?" Silva asked.
"Saber was banned long ago because of its power and the influence of its dark affinity. You must already know this story, right?" Milenia asked.
"Stop with the bulshit!"
"Where is Agares?!" Silva shouted, her voice loud, sharp, and disrespectful.
The smile faded from Milenia’s face. Her eyes glowed icy blue, and she raised her hand, pointing at Silva and her party.
Ice flowers spread from the floor, freezing all four of Silva’s teammates—except Silva herself.
"What the—" fгeewebnovёl.com
"You’re too noisy."
"I could kill you and your friends right here, and no one on the surface would know. Do you understand?" Milenia said coldly.
’Her power... she’s on par with the Head of the Mage Hall,’ Silva realized.
"I’m sorry."
"I’ll give you a simple rule."
"You’re allowed to meet Agares. You can talk to him—even drink with him. But if you cause trouble that leads to the city’s destruction, I will personally side with Agares."
"Do you understand me?!" Milenia demanded.
"Yes."
"So where is Agares?" Silva asked.
"He hasn’t come back yet," Milenia replied.
Silva gasped—but at the same time, she was relieved. It meant Agares really was here. She just didn’t know where he’d gone.
"Where did he go?"
"He said he was heading deeper. Judging by when he left, he’s probably already reached floor 70 or 72."
"Floor 72?" Silva was shocked.
"That’s right."
"He’s not someone you and your party can handle on your own."
