The First Mythical Dragon: Harem System-Chapter 245: Don’t Really Feel Like Working!

"DAKI!" Jasmine shouted in horror.

Her brain froze for a moment as she looked into the distance but was unable to look far as a loud sound drew her attention causing her to turn around just in time to see the longsword streaking her way with full speed.

With a loud yelp, her body suddenly moved on its own causing her to swiftly duck under the full strike that struck where she was a moment ago with a loud bang as she scrambled away with her heart in her mouth.

She shot upright just in time as the beast had already performed a spin and in the process, she was whacked in the face by the back of its massive hand causing blood to shoot from her mouth as her whole body was suddenly blasted backwards with immense force.

She crashed into the ground a few metres away from the beast, her body tumbling backwards, sliding with immense force until she came to a full halt. She was unable to fully rise, her body twitching as blood dripped from the corner of her mouth.

Her body trembled immensely while staring ahead watching as the beast ignored her totally and was seen heading towards Daki's body laying a few metres away.

'No, no, no, no, no! Shoot!' She began panicking inwardly, her heart thumping loudly as she watched the orc rapidly approaching her squad member and definitely, it didn't have any good intentions.

'Zoya, for fuck sake, come out! Will you be happy if I die? If I die, how will it benefit you? Come out and help for goodness sake.' Jasmine roared inwardly, her teeth grinding back and forth.

"You aren't even in any immediate danger, we can see that it's heading towards Daki. I have never had a good feeling about her, I don't know why so it's better if the beast gets rid of her for us." A voice spoke in Jasmine's mind.

'And what? I will be up next as soon as it's done with her.' Jasmine clapped back angrily.

"Then so be it. I don't really care if you die."

'Aren't you supposed to be my protector? Isn't that why you were placed in my body? That's your duty, aren't you supposed to complete it?!' Jasmine added as the beast was now a full metre away from Daki.

"Like I said, I'm not really obliged to do anything right now. I feel too lazy, I don't know why." Zoya replied in her mind while emphasising with a yawn.

"Damn it!" Jasmine screamed in anger as she forcefully pushed her body from the ground despite the pain biting through her.

She stared ahead and grabbed her sword with trembling hands and without hesitation, darted forward, running towards the beast who was surprisingly taking its sweet time approaching Daki.

Now, it was a step away from her, it raised its sword above its head while staring down at the human down below and with all its might, it swung the sword down with full speed causing a loud bang to ring out.

Bang!

Swooosh!

A cloud of dust was kicked up as the sword struck Daki, it covered the beast's location only for a coughing sound to be heard while the dust settled to reveal that the sword had just struck the ground and nothing else. 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚

Looking around, Jasmine could be seen a few distances away, Daki on her body as she had managed to dive forward in time, pull the human and rolled away avoiding the sword that struck the ground cleaving it with lethal force.

And now, the orc looked more than pissed, the ground cracking more and more beneath its feet and in anger, it darted forward at full speed while Jasmine panicked.

"Shoot, I'm dead." Jasmine mumbled as the beast was rapidly approaching her at such speed that made her feel her death was fast approaching.

In a flash, the orc was now directly in front of her and in a second, she pushed Daki away from her body and quickly bolted in front of her squad member kneeling in front of the unconscious female, her eyes tightly shut, hands clenched as she decided to try one last resort, one last trick as the orc lifted its sword swinging towards her neck at full force.

"Zoya! If I die, then tell me, how will you enjoy the dragon's rod! How will you taste Max again if I die and you perish?!" Jasmine shouted with full force, her eyes tightly closed as the sword was now an inch away from her neck when it felt like the world froze.

Her heart began beating loudly as nothing was stopping the sword from cleaving her neck until…

Sigh.

"You sure got me there. Fine, I will help."

BAM!

An unseen force suddenly struck Jasmine's body with immense strength causing a gust of wind to blast out slamming the orc and sending it blasting backwards with immense force that it crashed into the ground and went tumbling for a few seconds.

While Jasmine slowly rose up from the ground, eyes still closed until she snapped it back open, her body glowing softly, hair floating above her shoulders while her eyes were now beaming white, glowing like twin stars.

A frown appeared on her face as she looked ahead to see the orc slowly rising up.

"For the record, I'm not doing this for you. I honestly didn't feel like working today, I'm just too lazy. I'm doing this because I can't afford your death on my hands otherwise, I won't be able to enjoy the dragon again. So screw this beast!" Jasmine thundered into the air and like a blur, she darted forward stunning the beast who was just getting up.

Before it could realise what was going on, Jasmine drove her fist through its head with a loud bang as she burst through its whole body splitting it apart while she appeared at the other end.

I'm sorry but I just have to drop this book. It isn't meeting my expectations and I need money to assist me in my university. I'm sorry Drake Sama, I know you gave me advice and like the book but I'm sorry, I have no more imagination or strength to expend for a failed work. I'm really sorry guys.

Don't worry though, I will come back stronger with another book. I'm not abandoning this account, I will come back with another book. But in the meantime, I think I will have to gather knowledge by reading more books.
