The First Mythical Dragon: Harem System-Chapter 246: Boss is coming
A FEW MINUTES LATER!
Max just finished dealing with some of the beasts and a fresh new batch had just come out of the portal making him wonder how many more to go. He had been fighting for a few minutes now, dealing with batch after batch, standing tall as his hands became somewhat bloody from the blood of the orcs.
In total, he had dealt with about fifty orcs or so but more kept coming. While some branched his way, the others went towards Jake and the others as they were slowly getting overwhelmed except for Max and Jake of course.
The others were struggling but except for Max and Jake of course. The duo were a whole lot of menace as they began tearing down orcs after the other.
One orc swung its cleaver vertically towards him but he swiftly pivoted on a single foot, avoiding the weapon and whipping his leg out, Max hammered it into the beast causing a loud bang to ring out as the beast was blasted away.
His eyes flashed yellow for a moment and he kicked off the ground for a moment just in time to avoid a deadly thrust to his back. Without losing momentum, he spun around in a backflip smashing his toes right into the orc's head, forcing it to crash into the ground as a small crater appeared in an instant.
Another longsword was swung to his neck causing him to lean his head back while his hand shot forward catching the weapon. Pushing off from where he stood— specifically, the orc's head, it shattered as he darted forward hammering his fist into its jaws sending it crashing backwards.
About twenty orcs surrounded him and they all wasted no time in blistering towards him, ready and eager to take him down but the dragon just smiled, his hands a few inches apart and he glanced upwards.
[Draconic Force Palm Activated]
Slamming his palms together, resulted in a huge shockwave that smashed into the beasts, blasting them away and causing the portal to flicker for a few seconds. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
"Man, this is becoming exhausting." He groaned aloud as he could see the beasts standing up from where they were blasted to and they wasted no time in dashing back at him.
"I wonder how much longer the boss will take before it comes out. They usually don't take this long before they make an appearance, what is going on?" He mumbled with a frown on his face as the orcs were now already in front of him.
One swung its cleaver towards his head at full speed causing Max's eyes to flash yellow as he swung his fist upwards in a powerful uppercut smashing the blade and sending it flying out of the beast's hand.
Slamming his foot to the ground, he jerked his hand backwards and with all his might, swung it forward smashing it into the beast's neck blasting a huge hole in it as blood splattered backwards.
From the corners of his eyes, he could see two orcs trying to gang up on him from his flanks and his instincts took over as he swiftly whipped his leg out smashing into the orc he just killed sending its body lashing to his right in a loud bang as it swoooshed towards one of the beasts.
In that one breath, he swung the same leg to his left clashing with the second orc's longsword that resulted in a resounding boom, the vibrations swirling in his leg but he just grit his teeth.
Kicked off the ground with his second leg and hammered it into the orc's face sending it staggering backwards enough for him to lunge forward, his claws gleaming and stabbing right through its head, his eyes glowing as he stared into the orc's eyes.
[King tier beast killed]
The same system message as before flashed in front of his face which he ignored and quickly spun around, getting behind the orc he just killed right on time as a cleaver just cleaved the beast's head off.
[Ruler's hand Activated]
He held his hand out and the orc's body glowed bright blue and in a flash, it could be seen flying his way and stretching one of his legs backwards, he cocked his hand backwards and with all his might, hurled it forward smashing it into the beast's head.
The world froze for a moment as the beast's eyes widened but it was too late as the wind blasted outward and with it, a gaping hole appeared in the orc's head as it's body shot backwards smashing into the crowd of other beasts giving the dragon a little few seconds of respite.
[Fireball Activated]
Slamming his hands together, he proceeded to separate them as a huge Fireball appeared in his view. He just calmly flicked his wrist forward sending the attack roaring in the air and clashing with the orcs who all swung their weapons out trying to smash the flames away.
This gave Max enough time to blitz forward, appearing directly behind the beasts. Slamming his toes into the ground, a cleaver shot up from the ground which he proceeded to grab by the guard and then…
Bang, Bang, Bang!
He bolted, blitzing around like a blur slicing through the king tier beasts' heads like it was nothing. Moving so fast that they didn't have time to react and in a few seconds, he was done as he skid away and right on cue, the orcs crumbled to the ground with their heads sliding off with blood spewing out like a fountain.
Max didn't say anything as he flicked the cleaver in his hand causing the blood on it to splatter to the ground as he took in a deep breath while glancing to the sky only for all hairs on his body to instantly rise up causing him to spin around in fright.
His heart was thumping loudly as he glared at the portal that was now flaring up more than ever as the air turned cold, his eyes fixed on it. He already knew what was happening and he knew it wasn't good and that was because…
"The boss is coming." He whispered silently, eyes twinkling while staring ahead.
