THE GOD EATER-Chapter 92: Lokiiiiiiiiii!
Someone flew over from the inner city and came up to the factory. They came wearing a large mech with many guns, so no one thought that they were here for anything good.
The large mech landed in front of the factory and shouted at the golden golem, "Why are you doing this?"
The golem actually stopped what it was doing. Then it turned to the mech and said, "This is payback for messing with me. Next time, you should stay out of my business and not mess with someone that I have laid my eyes on. You are not worthy."
The person in the large mech seemed to understand what the golem meant, so he said, "Calm down. Let’s talk about this. I am sure we can come to an understanding."
But the golem had stopped listening to him. It had stopped to say the one message that it was programmed to tell Rusty. Now that it said what it had to say, it continued to destroy the factory.
Of course, Rusty wasn’t going to let this continue. He shouted at the golem, "Stop it."
Even though his shout was very loud, the golem didn’t stop what it was doing. Rusty wasn’t just going to stand and watch as his money maker was destroyed, so he controlled the mech to rush towards the golem.
As he covered the distance between them, he shouted again, "I said stop that."
The golem finally responded. It turned to look at the approaching mech and said, "This is just the beginning."
Then it exploded. It became a ball of fire that was many times stronger than the explosions it had been making earlier.
This level of explosion was enough to destroy a large portion of the factory, but it was nowhere near large enough to bring down the whole factory. Fortunately, there were many furnaces on every floor. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
The explosion of the golem set off the furnaces and caused them to overload, so the furnaces began to explode. They exploded one after the other, turning the entire factory into one large, crumbling, and burning ruin.
The collapsing factory had also buried the large mech. Then the mech was submerged in fire and more explosions. So not only had Rusty failed to stop the destruction of his factory, but he might have also died in the resulting explosion.
The people most distraught to see were not the people who used to work in the factory. The workers were jubilant and over the moon in joy at the possibility of the death of Rusty.
It was the police who were anguished by the turn of events. This was because the golem had exploded.
The explosion of the golem meant that they were not going to get paid for this crime. This saddened them for a while. But their sadness quickly turned into anger.
One of them swore angrily, saying, "I swear it on my life to find the perpetrator and bring them to justice. I won’t rest day and night until they pay for what they did."

But then, another golden man appeared, walked over to them, and deactivated itself. This caused them to stop what they were doing and stare at the golem.
The five police officers looked at the golden golem, which was identical to the one that just exploded, and looked at each other.
Then the police officer, who just swore on his life to fight for justice, said, "Never mind."
The other four also calmed down. They picked up the golem and left immediately. Gone was their anger at the injustice. Now they had wide smiles on their faces.
Loki saw this and said in amusement, "Police officers taking a bribe in broad daylight, but there is nothing wrong with it. What a world."
Just as he was feeling amused, something erupted from the burning ruins. When they looked closer, they saw that it was a black mech.
The black mech rose into the air above the ruins. It gained height and surveyed the extent of damage. What it saw was not pleasant to it at all.
When Rusty saw that the factory had been completely destroyed, he roared in anger, saying, "Lokiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!"
Those who heard the roar could sense the pain, bitterness, and anger of the person who shouted. So even though they couldn’t see the person in the mech, everyone could accurately imagine what expression they had on their face.
When Loki heard the roar, his heart fell to the very bottom of his chest. As his heart sank, he looked at the mech in the sky and whispered to himself, "What will you do next?"
He got his answer soon enough. The mech in the sky turned in his direction. Then it rushed at top speed towards him.
Loki saw this and said, "Time to go."
He didn’t bother to wait to know exactly what Rusty planned to do with him. He could guess what was going to happen from the way Rusty had screamed his name and was rushing towards him. What he guessed wasn’t good at all, so he decided to reverse time.
The Rewind Metac activated instantly, so Fenrir jumped into the river of time and took his consciousness with it. Because Fenrir was now at the peak of the second rank, it could go further into the past than before.
When Fenrir had just advanced to rank 2, it could go back two months. But now, it could go upstream the river of time for three months.
After Loki woke up, he found himself in his room refining his body. This was a day after he had just reversed time after killing Jim. So he had just advanced to rank 2 a day ago and had made the decision to continue forging his body even though Death Envoy had her eyes on him.
