Chapter 1077: Qualified.

“Leave them. They are mine.”

While Alec and Hoshino Ren were locked in their clash, Titan decided to deal with the Blade Clan members himself.

When he spoke, his gaze fell directly on Brandon, Arthur, and Knight, he completely ignored Lucas, who was still bleeding but seemed to be holding his own against Aeron.

Both of them were laughing wildly as they exchanged blows, their weapons clashing repeatedly while enhanced by Qi.

Although Lucas appeared to have the advantage in raw strength, as each swing of his glaive forced Aeron several steps back, but Aeron was clever enough to maneuver around some of the attacks and search for faster ways to take Lucas down.

However, with lightning coursing through Lucas’ body, his reaction speed and evasiveness had greatly increased making it hard for Aeron to swiftly finish him in a very fast speed.

Because of that, he managed to stay on his feet and avoided getting trapped or pinned down by Aeron’s tactics.

After Titan spoke, the three Gordon clan members reluctantly stepped back to clear the way, though they weren’t happy about it—in fact, they felt confident about winning the fight with a little more time, but when it came to Titan, there was a small amount of fear they couldn’t ignore.

With the Gordons moving aside, Titan began walking toward the three Blade Clan fighters, his expression still cold and emotionless, seeing they had little choice than to face this scary Golem before them, the three of them raised their weapons and rushed towards him together.

The first to reach him was Darius, he was gripping his claymore with both hands, as he swung from the left in a powerful horizontal cleave, aiming straight for Titan’s neck.

Not far behind him, Talon Blades attacked from the right, the moment his fist shot forward, a small image of a roaring dragon formed in flames around his arm.

Though only the head of the dragon was clearly visible, the fire extended outward like a blazing neck following the path of his punch.

Meanwhile, Sora took the rear position, as he struck from behind, delivering long-range support attacks, every time he punched forward with his tonfas, compressed wind pressure shot out toward Titan.

And in a split second, Titan demolished all three of them.

First, a short ice axe materialized in his left hand, as he swung it and hooked the blade of Darius’ claymore, trapping the weapon mid-swing.

Before Darius could react, Titan’s right leg slammed into his knee, forcing him down, as Darius lost his balance and began to fall, Titan’s leg rose again and smashed into his jaw, sending him sprawling backward in an awkward crash.

With Darius temporarily out of the fight, Titan extended his left palm and caught Talon’s flaming dragon punch head-on.

Not only did he stop the attack, but he tightened his grip around Talon’s fist as his frost energy quenched the fiery energy that was being released by Talon’s fist, at the same time, Titan swung his left hand, and an ice mace materialized instantly. In one swift motion, he whacked it against Talon’s head from the side.

The blow knocked Talon unconscious immediately, while the ice mace broke down back into ice element particles.

Titan then grabbed Talon’s limp body and pulled him in front of himself just as the compressed wind blasts fired by Sora arrived.

Boom!!!

Titan used Talon’s unconscious body as a human shield while the wind pressure attacks slammed into his back, each impact made Talon’s body jerk violently.

The powerful wind strikes tore into his back, causing ruptures in his clothing and flesh, but Titan clearly didn’t care, once the barrage ended, Titan casually tossed Talon’s body aside.

At that moment, Darius suddenly reappeared, bending low with his claymore poised as he thrust it forward toward Titan.

Titan simply caught the blade with his bare hand.

Frost energy immediately spread across the weapon, racing along the steel and creeping toward Darius’ grip. Realizing the danger, Darius barely managed to wrench his hand free before the ice reached him.

But Titan was already moving again.

His left hand shot forward and grabbed Darius by the neck, lifting him into the air as he gasped for breath and tried to break Titan’s lock on his neck.

However, Titan’s freezing aura kept seeping into him, as Darius’ face began turning pale, as if the blood inside his body were slowly freezing.

Seeing this, Sora launched another attack toward Titan, this time though, Titan shifted the suspended Darius to the side and thrust his right hand forward toward Sora’s position, not interested to let him run wild.

In the next instant, jagged ice spikes erupted from the ground, shooting up toward where Sora stood.

It happened so fast that Sora had no chance to escape, the ice spikes ensnared him completely, lifting him off the ground, pushed him until he was pinned him against the arena wall as if he had been crucified, his arms spread wide while the rest of his body was trapped inside thick, jagged ice.

Once Titan finished dealing with Sora, he turned his gaze back toward Darius. Slowly raising his right hand, he pointed two of his fingers toward Darius’ head and fired a thin ice beam.

Boom!

A muffled sound echoed, the condensed energy within the beam wasn’t powerful enough to kill him, but it carried just enough force to knock him unconscious instantly.

While this was happening, Alec and Ren’s final attacks finally collided.

In the aftermath of the exchange, their positions had completely switched, with Alec now standing where Ren had been moments ago, while Ren stood where Alec had once been.

The entire arena fell silent, and then a second later the crowd noticed a long line of blood stretched across Alec’s chest.

Gasps erupted from the section filled with Northern Kingdom supporters, as they couldn’t believe that he was cut, but Alec simply placed his hand on his chest, touched the blood and smiled.

“That wasn’t half bad,” Alec said calmly.

“That was... a beautiful sword skill,” Ren replied with his back still turned to Alec, his voice trembling slightly as he spoke before his body collapsed forward onto the ground.

Only then did the spectators realize that Ren had actually been the one who lost the exchange, but then he had fallen face-first, making it difficult for them to immediately see the true extent of Alec’s strike.

With Ren down, only Aeron remained standing, however; the remaining fighters of the War God Team stepped back and allowed the duel between Aeron and Brandon to continue without interference.

In the end, both fighters exhausted themselves completely and collapsed, with Bradon looking like he might go into a coma, even so, the War God Mage Academy still had four mages left standing.

At the moment the result became clear, and the fanatic supporters erupted into deafening cheers even before the judge dictated them the winner.

Once again, Alec’s name echoed throughout the arena as he reintroduced himself in spectacular fashion, but while his teammates celebrated and waved toward the roaring crowd, Alec wasn’t looking at them.

Instead, his gaze remained fixed on Takeda, who had been watching the entire battle, though, considering what he had heard from Agnes, Alec supposed that the body watching the battle was most likely not one of Takeda’s main bodies.

It was probably just a clone, one that Takeda probably must have sent to observe the match and gather information about who his next opponents would be.
