Chapter 355: Goddess Rauna

"Welcome to the resistance. However, show your respect, you are in the presence of the Prince, Princess, and the Hero."

Kai and his girls stood where they were, not bowing or kneeling. In fact, Kai looked around to see who they were talking to, but he found no one, so that meant that they were talking to them.

"Are you talking to us?" He asked, pointing at himself.

"Yes. Who else would we be talking to?"

Kai shrugged. "I don’t know. You guys probably talk to ghosts on this continent. And honestly, you all are in a crisis right now, and you’re worried about respect and status? That’s fucked up."

"Watch your mouth! We have invited you here because of your talents and your boldness to attack Flexon’s men. But this does not mean we have to tolerate your disrespect." The royal advisor was clearly upset and contemplated throwing them out.

Kai couldn’t help but laugh. "You, girl hero. You should know better than anyone here that I’m not someone to mess around with. Go speak to your little goddess."

"Send them away!" The advisor yelled.

Dozens of ninjas appeared and surrounded them.

"All of this because we didn’t want to bow. Kai, let’s just go. We can handle things on our own." Gwen knew that if things escalated, there would be bloodshed, and while she didn’t mind it, she knew these people were innocent and were just trying to survive.

"No, no, no. We’re handling this right now. The realization on their faces when they realize they fucked up will be priceless."

"I may be injured, but I’m still the hero." She released her aura, suffocating the room. "Don’t take our kindness for granted."

"Really?" Kai released his aura, dominating her own. She fell to her knees, gasping for air. Not just her, but everyone in the room who wasn’t his girls.

"Now. Go. Talk. To. Your. Goddess. Now! Tell her, Kai LuForia is here."

None of them felt such intense pressure before, and they started questioning their methods. They didn’t know if they were going to live or die, but they did know that they had messed with the wrong person.

"O-Okay, okay! I-I’ll contact her!" The hero managed to get out, breathing heavily.

"Make it quick. I was excited to finally meet you all, but now, I feel like killing you. So don’t test my fucking patience. And sit the fuck down."

None of them disobeyed Kai and did what he demanded. They even gave him an extra chair to sit on, which he gladly accepted. Then, he made six more for his girls.

All of the ninjas were dismissed as well.

The hero meditated in her chair, golden tattoos appearing on her body. Then, because of Kai’s demigodhood, he could see her soul get transferred to Rauna’s divine realm.

"Cool. Be right back, guys." Kai followed, not with his soul, but with his main body.

"My lady, a person named Kai LuForia has said that you summoned him. Is this true?" The hero asked.

"What?! He’s here? Where is he? When did he arrive? Why didn’t you inform me that he was here?!" Rauna was obviously anxious. Her land was being taken over by a person who had a power that not even she could combat.

And while she could kill Flexom, the progenitor decay would remain.

"W-Who’s this Kai person? Is he important?" The hero asked

Rauna nearly lost her shit. Then again, it was her fault for not informing her hero about everything that was going on.

"Listen, little one. Kai is a person who has killed TWO demon kings across two continents!"

"T-Two demon kings?! And on two other continents? Are there more continents?"

"Yes, but that’s not important right now. Listen, Horisia, what’s important is that you do NOT make him upset. He is not someone you can mess with. Not only is he significantly stronger than you, but he is also a demigod."

Horisia, the hero, nearly lost her shit. A demigod? She did not expect Kai to be a demigod. "No wonder he was able to overwhelm me."

"Overwhelm you? What do you mean? What did you do to him?"

"She tried to attack me." Kai chimmed in, sitting down. He actually liked Rauna’s divine realm. It was a beautiful desert with a golden temple and had a sun that beamed the right amount of heat.

"K-Kai!" Rauna got on her hands and knees, showing her respect.

"M-My goddess! What are you doing? I understand that he’s a demigod, but you’re a goddess. Don’t you outrank him?"

"No, Horisia, he’s not just any demigod. His mother is a primordial deity, the second being in existence, and his father is the progenitor, the first being in existence, the person who created everything."

"That, I am." Leo appeared out of nowhere.

Rauna nearly lost her shit and buried her head in the sand. "It’s an honor to meet you, Great Progenitor."

"Did you hear what she said?" He asked Kai.

"No, her head is in the sand. And why the fuck are you here? You ruined my moment!"

"Your moment that is built on my existence." Leo corrected him.

"So fucking what? After hearing that I’m your son, she would have lost her shit, like Rauna here, and apologize for being mean to me."

"I-I’m terribly sorry, Lord Kai!" Horisia buried her head in the sand as well.

"It’s okay, dear."

Leo pointed at the hero. "Well, there you go, she just did it for you."

"Fuck off. You’re annoying. Go back home."

"Technically, everywhere is my home."

"Stop playing. You know that you’re a loner who lives in a white room because you’re insane. You literally live in a mental asylum. And you spy on people. You’re mental and a creep, crazy."

"I’m going to beat you up."

"Do it then!"

Rauna and Horisia didn’t know if it was normal to witness the supreme being of the universe have a casual conversation with his son like this, but they wouldn’t dare complain about it.

"Anyway, Rauna. What’s the situation?"

She stood up, finally able to tell him what she needed help with.
