"There’s some energy that I cannot vanquish. It feels like a power from outside of this world, and when I try to make it go away, it harms me." Rauna explained

"That’s it?" Kai asked. He was slightly underwhelmed. "I thought you would have had something more interesting to say. I already know all of this."

"W-What else did you expect? The family that reigned for generations has nearly been wiped out, a lot of people lost their lives, that demoness is stronger than ever, and I can’t even do anything because that stupid energy hurts to touch, and it completely nullifies my power!"

There were times when she, as a goddess, would get involved in her continent, such as choosing the hero. However, she couldn’t even get involved if she wanted to because she could die from the progenitor decay, but after hearing that Leo and his son were here, she knew she needed to ask them for help, and luckily, her sisters had aided Kai before.

Kai felt kind of bad for her. "Hmm. That is unfortunate. This is Leo’s fault, by the way."

"How is that—"

"Really? You’re going to ask that question? The guy who CREATED that energy?"

Leo decided to keep his mouth shut.

"Wait, how can I stop the energy?" He asked.

"You can absorb it without any issues," Leo answered

"Cool, okay, so what do I get in return for helping you?" Kai asked Rauna.

"U-Um. Well, I can give you my blessing."

"What the hell am I going to do with that?"

"Right. Umm, okay, I got nothing. I’m sorry, but I don’t know what I can do for you. My sisters said that you helped them without asking for anything in return, so I was hoping you would show the same sentiment."

"Heh, yeah, I’m just fucking with you. HOWEVER, don’t stop me from doing the things I wanna do."

"Like turning my people into cult followers of your semen?" Rauna asked

Kai could only stare at her.

"Gracia told me."

"That bitch." Kai quickly erased that memory from Horisia’s mind, not wanting her to think of him as a weirdo. Well, it didn’t matter because he would hypnotize her anyway.

"I don’t care what you do, just help them, please."

"Don’t worry, I’ll help your people. But I’m not going to storm the castle right away or anything. I like to enjoy what I’m doing."

Rauna didn’t care about how long he took. She had researched what Kai did on her sister’s continents, and he always stuck to his word and killed the demon king when asked to. So, she didn’t care about him enjoying himself while helping her out. It was the fact that he was helping that soothed her mind.

"You’re free to do what you wish, as long as you make progress toward liberating my continent gradually." Rauna nodded.

"Sweet! Okay, let’s go back, Horisia." Kai grabbed her hand and teleported back to the mortal world.

This left Leo and Rauna in the divine world.

"Want some popcorn with nacho seasoning?" Leo asked, handing her a bucket of what he thought was the best food in existence.

"Popcorn?" Rauna had never heard of that food before

"It’s the greatest food ever. Here, try some."

Rauna grabbed the bucket and started eating the popcorn. "I-It’s really good! M-May I taste some more, my lord?"

"Have the whole bucket. It’s yours now." Leo tapped her shoulder and then teleported away.

Back in the round table room, Kai appeared back in his seat, and Horisia gasped as her soul reentered her body.

"Horisia! What happened? What did the goddess say?" The resistance leader asked.

Horisia was still in shock after learning who Kai really was. Her throat was dry, and she could barely get out any words. But after a good Ahem, she managed to speak.

"E-Everyone, This is K-Kai LuForia, he’s a demigod." She thought this was enough to quell all the answers they had. Telling them that he was the son of the person who created the universe would blow their minds, so she kept that to herself.

The prince was the first to speak up. "A-A-A Demigod?!" As the prince and future king, he was the highest authority of the nation. But not only that, he was a powerful wizard, and he was confident in his power and authority. However, all of that was shattered upon hearing that Kai was a demigod.

The princess felt the same, but she was a little more accepting of this information. Besides, she thought Kai was extremely handsome.

The resistance leader was shocked to the core. She nearly angered a demigod, and that could have cost them their lives.

The royal advisor turned pale, and he felt like his soul was about to exit his body.

"We apologize for our rude behavior earlier! Please forgive us!" All of them bowed to show their respect. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

"Good, I run this shit now, and since we’re on the same page, kneel!" Kai demanded in an authoritative voice.

None of them questioned his demand and did as he said. They didn’t care about their status or their pride. They were in the presence of a demigod, and what he said goes.

"I’m just fucking with ya. You don’t have to kneel. I’m not even into that shit. Have a seat and tell me what’s been going on and what you need my help with."

The four of them looked at Horisia and saw her nod. They sat down, calmed themselves, and took turns speaking. The prince spoke up first.

"My name is Osiren. It is an honor to meet a demigod such as yourself. If you don’t mind me asking, who are those women behind you? Are they demigods as well?"

"Nah, they’re my wives. And they are super strong."

No one batted an eye at Kai’s response. It was normal for people of power to have multiple spouses, regardless of whether the person in power was a man or a woman. Even Osiris had five mothers, and his sister was technically his half sister.

"Okay, now let’s get down to business."
