The Hero of Hypnosis-Chapter 376: How did surface monkeys get here?
"This can’t be good." Gwen prepared for a fight.
"What can’t? Being surrounded by tons of monsters, or being called monkeyes?" Kai felt offended rather than surprised that they were caught. He would at least accept being called a gorilla.
Gwen wondered if Kai was joking or being serious. But judging by his expression, she knew he was being serious. "Being surrounded by monsters, duh. Why would being called a monkey be bad?"
"Well, being called a monkey is kind of offensive. Especially the way she rolled the word off her tongue. It reminded me of that one space emperor who would not stop calling these people monkeys, know what I’m saying?"
"What?"
"Nothing."
The monsters drew closer, metal spears pointed toward Kai and his crew. "Don’t take another step, MONKEYS!"
"Really, dude? Did you have to emphasize the word monkey?"
"How did you filthy creatures find this place? What is your purpose here? And how did you get past the horde of monsters?" The leader of the monsters asked.
The monsters that surrounded everyone were orcs and goblins, but they weren’t the ugly kind. Each monster looked...normal to some degree.
The orcs still had two large teeth that extended out of their mouths, the men at least, and the goblins were still short.
But other than that, they looked like normal people with green skin.
"That’s a lot of questions." Kai blurted out.
"It’s only three. But I’m not surprised your pheble monkey brain can’t comprehend such a thing." The orc growled.
The snickering of his girls made Kai feel attacked on a personal level, and he wasn’t going to allow that.
"Okay, first of all, we found this place by chance. We didn’t intend to find your little monster sanctuary. Second, our purpose here is to find out what the hell is going on here. And finally, we simply killed the monster horde. Well, not all of them. There are still a few thousand kicking it up on the surface."
"Lies! None of you monkeys are strong enough to survive that monster horde!"
"He’s a demigod." Kyana put Kai on the spot.
"Yeah, and I’m a prophet. Do I look like a fucking prophet, elf monkey?"
Now, Kyana was feeling the same way Kai was feeling.
"Kai, what do we do?" Amaya was ready to attack and had her claws out. She didn’t like being woken up, but if it was for a fight, she would always welcome it.
"We surrender." Kai held up his hands.
"What?"
"Really?"
The orc bellowed with laughter. "Ha! I guess the monkeys are afraid of our power! Tie them up!"
Seven orcs tied magical ropes around their arms, taking them as prisoners, and directed them to the prison of the monster village.
The place was pretty large, but was also pretty primitive in its ways. They used wood for all of their buildings and only used stone for tools and certain building foundations.
But even then, they still had metal workers and a whole system in place for combat training, magical training, alchemy studies, medicine, and more. It was literally a utopia.
However, the real shock was the monsters that lived in this place. All of them were some type of humanoid version of the monsters Kai and his girls killed all the time.
Lizard people had normal skin with scales around their waist, legs, arms, and backs. But the scales were fully covering those places.
Trolls were just giant people with grey skin.
Kai found the woman fascinating because of their massive boobs.
Kobolds just looked like beastkin; however, their claws were constantly out.
Not every monster known to man was here, though. There wasn’t a sand worm human who had a long ass torso or anything like that. It was mainly the already humanoid-type monsters that became more...human.
"You know, I’ve always wanted a monster harem." Kai smiled.
"Really, babe?" Gwen nearly vomited.
"Kai, you’re gross." Even Amaya thought that was nasty.
"What? Look at those goblin hotties over there! They look like normal people, but with green skin. They’re literally green dwarves. The hips, the curves, the tits."
"I don’t know if that’s offensive or not." Sasha couldn’t deny the resemblance in body type, but still, she didn’t like being compared to a monster.
Nadya knew Kai was a horny guy, but she thought having sex with monsters was taking it a step too far. "Kai, why do you always think with your dick?"
"Because it’s a second head. When your first brain isn’t working, you use the second one."
"That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard."
"HEY! Shut it! We’re here." The orcs threw them into a bamboo prison that was on display for everyone to see.
"Your first punishment for breaking into our home will be public humiliation. Gather everyone!"
All of the orcs and goblins there spread the word, and as quickly as they left, thousands of monsters flocked toward what Kai assumed was the town square.
"Kill them!"
"Off with their heads!"
"Boil them in oil!"
"Have them eat unfried dough!"
"Bro, that’s not a death threat."
"Sorry. I just really like unfried dough."
"How dare those monkeys try to kill us and take our land!"
"SILENCE! The Chief and Chieftess have arrived!" 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
Two people draped in elegant garments with wooden crowns on their heads walked arm in arm together, the crowd splitting apart for their entry. Both of them were orcs, but anyone could tell that they were extremely powerful from the aura they radiated.
"Wow. She’s pretty hot." Kai already thought the monster girls here were hot, but the chieftess blew them all out of the park
"Okay," Gwen admitted. "She’s really pretty."
"I mean, she’s okay." Kyana didn’t want to admit that the chieftess was beautiful, even though she thought she was.
"So you seven are the monkeys that tried to take over our land? My dear wife, what shall we do with these intruders?" The chief asked
"Hmm. Why don’t we hear their story? This way, we can punish them accordingly. I really hope they came here to kill us so we can dismember them and put them on display for others as a warning."
The crew did not expect that out of the chieftess’s mouth, but it still aligned with how the other monsters felt.
"Very well. So, male monkey, what is your reason for coming to our home?"
Kai cleared his throat and stood up. "Well, it’s the prophecy."
"The prophecy?" The chief sounded surprised. He didn’t know how Kai knew about the prophecy and wondered if he was lying.
"Tell me, monkey. How do you know about the prophecy, and what does it entail?"
Kai looked them straight in the eyes. No goofiness, no joking, just straight seriousness. "The ending is coming."
