The Hero of Hypnosis-Chapter 377: The God Typhon
The whole place was filled with the murmurs of monsters who wondered how Kai knew about their prophecy. At first, they thought he was bluffing, but after saying the words ’The ending is coming’, they knew that Kai somehow learned about their culture and civilization.
"How do you know that the ending is coming? TELL ME MONKEY!" The chief was sacred and anxious at the same time. He wanted, no, needed to know how and when the prophecy would happen so he could best protect his people.
"I saw it in a vision I had a while ago. In it, I saw--" Kai’s eyes started to glow, energy ran wild out of his body, and he shot out of the cage, breaking it, and started floating in the air.
Suddenly, an avatar of a monster grew around Kai until it was the size of a giant.
"What the fuckkk? Gwen, have you seen him do something like this before?" Karumi asked."
"No. This is the first time I’ve seen him like this." Gwen hoped nothing was wrong with Kai, and if needed, she would act to make sure he wouldn’t be harmed.
"Kneel before your god!" Kai said in a voice that wasn’t his own.
"It’s the god of monsters!"
"The monkey was telling the truth."
"Is the monkey a messenger from our god?"
"Oh, great god, Typhon, we are humbled to be in your presence!" The chief got on his hands and knees, his wife doing the same.
Even without following their leader’s example, the other monsters all got on their hands and knees to show respect to their god. 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚
"SILENCE!" Kai’s voice boomed.
The chief held his tongue, his body quivering from the overbearing power he felt.
"You dare imprison my mortal self?"
"Lord Typhon, we did not know he was your mortal self. We thought he was a monkey that was trying to harm our people." The chieftess explained.
Kai looked at his body, then at the girls he came here with.
"Hmm. It seems that the wisp of my spirit inhabited a surface dweller instead of a monster. An error in my own judgement. I shall forgive you all for any transgressions since this was a mistake on my end."
All of the monsters sighed in relief.
"Lord Typhon, please give us your divine message." Che chief begged.
"The end is coming. Just like in the prophecy, a powerful entity has come to this land and is threatening to take it away from us. We have lost many people, and many more will lose their lives. However, I have seen the future, and I know what we must do to survive."
"Please, tell us what we need to do! We will make sure to complete your task no matter what!"
Kai looked down at the chief. "You must work with the monkeys."
The monsters didn’t understand. They could do many things, but working with humans was something they would never think of doing.
"B-But, Lord Typhon. The monkeys will kill us!"
Kai shook his head. "Not with my mortal self present. He will guide you to a better future and will make our people prosper in ways it has never done before. Treat him how you would treat me. It also appears that these women are his wives. Treat them with respect as well."
"As you wish, Lord Typhon. We will enact your will to the best of our abilities."
"Good. May the future of our people rest in your hands. The prophecy cannot come to pass. If it does, we are all doomed. Follow my mortal body’s command, and walk with him to a brighter future."
The energy around Kai disappeared, and he fell onto the ground.
"Nngh! W-What happened?" Kai clutched his head, struggling to stand up. He tried to reach something to help him, but two orcs grabbed both of his arms and helped him stand.
"My lord, if you need some help, please don’t hesitate to call on us." An orc smiled.
"We are your humble servants." The other orc nodded.
"I-I remember myself...slightly." Kai managed to get out.
The chief quickly rushed over to Kai. "It makes sense that you would feel this way since you are in a mortal body. All you need to do is rest up for now. Come, I shall take you and your wives to the best hut we have."
"What the hell just happened?" Amaya was so confused. She wondered how Kai could be this Typhon guy but also be Kai, Leo’s son.
"Let’s just follow him. We may get answers after speaking to him."
The girls followed Kai to a very beautiful hut where he was placed on a bed to rest up. The monsters bowed at them and made their way out of the hut, closing the door behind them.
Once they were all alone, Kai jumped out of the bed and started acting as if nothing had happened.
"Ha! Pretty cool, huh?" He asked them.
"Kai, what the hell was that all about?" Gwen was in dire need of answers.
Amaya nodded. "Right! And how are you, this Typhoon guy?"
"And how do you know about their prophecy?" Nadya was sure Kai didn’t even know who these people were, so she was confused about how he knew about their prophecy.
"Ha, that’s the thing, I made it all up." He smiled
"What?!"
"H-How? Why?"
He shrugged. "Why not?"
Kyana was slightly confused. "Wait. If you made it all up, then how did all of them know who their god was?"
Kai made a circular motion with his finger as he began to speak. "The entire monster tribe arrived to see get killed or whatever. During that time, I implanted a memory in all of their head about a prophecy and a god they worship. These people don’t even worship a god, by the way. Then, I acted as if I were a mortal counterpart to the god and had their ’true’ god manifest through me."
"Wow. You’re fucking insane! But that was awesome!" Gwen jumped on Kai’s body and started making out with him.
Kyana couldn’t believe her own lover. "Heh, I can’t believe he made an entire religion just for fun. What kind of psycho does that?"
"The one we all love," Gwen said, kissing Kai even more.
"So when this, Typhon, was speaking, it was just you?" Sasha asked
Kai nodded. "Yup."
"Haha, unbelievable."
