The Hero of Hypnosis-Chapter 388: Formal Announcement
"Kai? What are you doing here?" Sekmala was not expecting Kai to randomly appear on the round table with multiple people falling on the floor around them.
When she looked around, she saw that it was the team she had sent to Novahelm to liberate it. Judging by Kai’s appearance with them, she concluded that they needed help and was able to liberate them with him being there.
"Have you completed the mission?" She asked, helping people to their feet.
"Yup, all three missions have been completed. It was pretty easy, not gonna lie." Kai took out the chalice, twirled it around in his hand, then tossed it to the princess.
"Here you go, beautiful. A lovely cup for a lovely woman such as yourself." He kissed her hand while he was at it.
"T-Thank you." Isia blushed. While she wasn’t romantically interested in Kai, she couldn’t deny that he was the most handsome man she had ever laid eyes on, and if he was interested in her, she was completely fine with being his woman.
Little did she know that he had already set his eyes on her and would be bearing a child soon.
Setton looked at the chalice with a confused expression. He had never seen a cup like that before. It reminded him of the royal jewelry, but the chalice was too ancient-looking to be a part of the jewelry sets the previous kings and queens had.
"What is this chalice?" He asked
"Remember the relic Karlis was talking about?" Kai asked. "Well, that’s it."
All eyes darted to the chalice in Isia’s hand. Even she looked at it with shock and admiration, her hands trembling as the item in her hand was something that had once been touched by their goddess.
"T-The relic?! THE relic?" Osiren asked
"Uhh, I don’t know any other relic, so, yeah." Kai shrugged, not knowing if they had come across more relics in his short time away.
"A-Amazing! How does it work?!" Horisia could feel divine power from it and felt her own power resonating with the chalice. It was as if the chalice were a part of her.
"You just ask Rauna to give you power or something, I don’t know. It didn’t work with us. However, the team you sent to Sunspot managed to use it, and they became strong as fuck!"
"Let me try." Setton gently took the Chalice from Isia’s hands and called upon Rauna.
"Oh Goddess Rauna, hear my cries. Please grant me the strength to defeat our enemies." With his cries being heard, the chalice filled up with wine.
"A-Amazing!" Setton didn’t know if he should drink the wine or not since he wasn’t in a combat setting, but Sekmala urged him to, and so he did.
"M-My body! I feel stronger! So much power! This is incredible!"
Everyone was impressed with the amount of strength Setton had gained by drinking the wine. His strength increased tenfold and was only slightly less powerful than Horisia’s strength.
"Horisia, you try it." Kai wanted to see if she would be able to get stronger as well. Since she was the hero and was the strongest mortal, Kai hoped it wouldn’t work. Not because he didn’t want her to get stronger, but because he didn’t think it was fair.
He wanted to know how it felt as well and was slightly jealous that he couldn’t get a taste of that wine.
’Wait! I can just drink what Horisia doesn’t drink! I’m a genius! Hahaha!’
Horisia called out to the goddess like Setton, watched as the chalice filled up with wine, then drank around half of that.
Her power increased so much that the whole mountain they were in started to shake. Even Horisia had a hard time controlling her power, so Kai stepped in to calm everything down.
"Let me try some." He asked
"Uhh, are you sure it will work on you?" Sekmala wondered
"Why wouldn’t it?"
"B-Because you’re a demigod."
"That’s a fair assumption, but remember, the person who is filling that cup with wine is a goddess." Kai retorted.
"I guess that makes sense. Here." Horisia handed Kai the cup.
"Yes!" He wasted no time and gulped down the rest of the wine. It was pretty good in his opinion; however, he felt no change in his body.
Just like Rauna said, he was too strong to be affected by the wine.
"Dammit."

With the Eastern side of the continent fully occupied by the resistance, they decided to make themselves fully known to the public and make a formal announcement.
It was time to let their people know that it wasn’t the time to lose hope or give up. It wasn’t the time to accept the new rule, and it wasn’t the time to lose faith in the old dynasty.
The announcement was being held in Sunspot City while Kai made a screen in the sky to show Novahelm and the other towns and villages the announcement.
"Hear me, people of Astalith. For the past few months, you have been suffering at the hands of a tyrant who we once thought was our beloved champion, the strongest person in our land, besides the hero." Osiren spoke up, letting the country know of his presence.
"But that trust was shattered when he became a greedy, ambitious man. He killed our brothers and sisters, slayed our parents, and killed anyone close to us before taking the throne for himself." Isia was also participating in the speech, letting the country know of her presence as well.
"With the aid of the Demon Queen, he severely injured our beloved hero, Horisia, and installed new rules and regulations that completely messed up our way of life. But that time is OVER!" Osiren shouted, raising his hand in the air.
Isia continued where he left off. "We have been able to completely liberate the eastern side of the continent and put it back in the hands of the people! Our beloved hero, Horisia, is now healed up, our prince, Osiren, has found temples to give him the strength to reclaim our home, and to make sure we succeed, our beloved goddess has sent us a Demigod to aid in our quest to reclaim our land!"
"So please, everyone, hold on a bit longer. Soon, order will be restored, and peace will return to our home!"
"Yeahh!"
"We love you, Prince Osiren!"
"I can’t wait to see Flexom fall!"
"Long live the true heirs of the throne!"
