The Hero of Hypnosis-Chapter 444: There’s more to everything
Kai didn’t care to learn more about the castle and what the man was doing. All he knew was that his older brother was using the body of that man to do his bidding, and died for it.
Also, since the Progenitor Decay was now gone, Kai had no reason to stay in this place any longer.
However, before he and Karumi could leave, his dear old dad teleported to the place.
"What do you want?" Kai asked
"Is that any way to greet your father?"
"Yes."
"Wow, that’s so mean. You’re gonna make me cry." Leo created fake tears and started bawling his eyes out. It wasn’t until Kai slapped him that he stopped.
"Fuck! My hand!"
"Ha! That’s what you get for hitting me, bitch! Enjoy that broken hand!"
Kai’s hand healed instantly.
"Oh. Well, anyway, did you enjoy your chat with your older brother? I’m sure you two siblings have a lot to catch up on." Leo joked
Kai didn’t understand why he would ask something like that, but he realized that Leo was just joking.
"Something happened?" Kai assumed
"More like something might happen. I spoke to Aion. He’s definitely up to something big. I don’t know what it is, but I’m sure it’s not good."
Kai nodded. He knew that his older brother wasn’t one to do nice things, even though he had only known the guy for less than a year.
"Bro, don’t you know like, everything that goes on in the universe?" Kai asked
"Yah." Leo nodded
"So how come you don’t know what Aion is doing?"
"I’ve told you this before. He has an amulet that blocks my power."
"Dude. Listen to yourself. That’s the stupidest shit ever."
"Okay! Okay! I admit it! I’m pretty shitty at my job, okay? I just don’t feel like it! You try being alive for as long as I am!"
Kai actually didn’t know how old Leo was. "How old are you, man?"
"I don’t fucking know? Okay, well, I do, but there’s no word for it. I guess you could just say Pi."
"Pie?" Karumi’s stomach growled.
"No, babe, he means pie, like the mathematical Pi, not food," Kai explained
"I’m not following." She admitted
"It’s okay. And Leo, Pie goes on for infinity. You can’t be infinity years old."
"Yeah I can."
"No, you can just live forever, this doesn’t mean you have an age. You’ll never reach the age of infinity because there was once a starting point to when you were born. Even though Pi is an infinite number, it’s still a number. Your lifespan would be infinite, but your age is the point to which you were born and now."
"You think I don’t know that? I just said that there’s no number for my age. Not even a googol. In fact, I think that’s how old your mother is. I’m simply Leo years old." Leo shrugged.
"Pwahaha! That’s what I’m gonna say when someone asks me how old I am."
"Yeah, yeah, real funny. But as I was saying, I don’t care to see everything. I can literally do anything I want, even limit my powers. But to put things plainly, I’m literally the infinateverse’s consciousness taken form. Everything came from me. Emotions, mana, nexus energy, you name it. I get bored, I get tired, sort of, I get annoyed, and I get angry. Sometimes, I just don’t wanna look at shit that’s going on in the universe."
"Hmm. That’s fair. I’m guessing that this is a part of the reason you had kids as well. I remember mom talking about a successor or something like that."
"Yeah, sort of. There wouldn’t be a person to take over for me, but they would be overseeing the infinateverse when I don’t feel like doing so. But then all of them turned out to be shitty, so I killed them all, except like 2. The twins are cool."
"Twins?" Kai asked
"Yeah, your older sisters. They’re right above you in age. The second youngest. They didn’t care about the family drama and stayed out of it. Aion only messed with the rest, and they were the ones I killed."
This was new information Kai didn’t know about. "So why was Mom crying about losing all of her children?"
"Oh, they hate her, that’s why."
Kai nodded. "So, about Aion. I already know that he’s responsible for the Progenitor Decay being all over the world. Why don’t you kill him? Why are you having him do all of this?"
"Because it’s a part of your trial."
"Hell no. I already agreed to help you with this PD bullshit!"
"PD?"
"Progenitor Decay."
"Oh. I thought you were talking about something else."
"Yeah, cool, but I didn’t sign up to be given an amazing destiny. I didn’t even want a fucking System! Don’t just push this shit on me, man!"
"But it’s your DESTINY!" Golden light shone on Leo.
"Stop with the cinematics! It’s not my destiny. This is you passing your problems on to me!"
"Which you will accept with open arms."
"And why would I do that?" Kai asked
"Because then you’ll become a primordial once more." Leo smiled like an idiot
Kai paused, squinting his eyes, staring at his so-called father. "When do I start?"
"That’s the spirit! You don’t have to worry about anything. I’ll be setting the stage for you. Just finish collecting the Progenitor Decay off this world, then I’ll take you to a place where you will be able to become a Primordial."
"So I have to train for that? Boring."
"Nothing in life is handed to you, son."
"Bitch, don’t start acting all father-like. You literally gave me my powers, dumbass."
"Oh shit, I did!" Leo completely forgot about that. "Well, technically, you were born like that. I just gave it back to you."
"You get my point. But okay, all I gotta do is just keep doing what I’m doing. That’s cool. So, what happens after I beat him and become a primordial?" Kai wondered.
"You will help me recreate the entire universe...megaverse...stupid ass name verse!"
"Huh? What do you mean? Why would I need to help you do that?" Kai was under the impression that Leo could just snap his fingers and BOOM new universe created.
"While I could do that," Leo knew that Kai was thinking about. "I think that having a universal reset would be for the best. Besides this one we’re in."
"Can I ask why?" Kai...asked
"Because the others are mostly destroyed."
