The Hero of Hypnosis-Chapter 454: Goddess from another world
"Wait! Please don’t attack! We mean you no harm!" Frostina begged, trying her best not to provoke Luminera.
"Uhh, yeah, we mean her harm! The bitch attacked me after I was trying to heal her!" Kai wasn’t going to let her get away with attacking him.
"Kai! Please, you don’t understand. She’s a cosmic goddess!" Frostina informed him with a slightly scared look on her face.
"The fuck is a cosmic goddess?"
Luminera raised an eyebrow at his question. She expected him to know since he was divine himself.
"A goddess who isn’t tied to a world. She can freely roam the universe." Frostinia explained.
"Oh, a Titan." Kai now understood what they were talking about.
"No. Not a Titan. While a planetary deity normally has to become a Titan to break free from the world’s will, if a higher-level being severs that connection for you, or if you’re strong enough to sever it yourself, then you can roam free without restriction, even without ranking up in the divine hierarchy." 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
"Hmm. This is news to me. But all of that doesn’t fucking matter. This bitch was fucking with your land, and I was helping you and its people. When I found her, I tried to heal her, but she attacked me, so we’re fighting to the death. And spoiler alert, I’m fucking immortal!" Kai powered up once more.
"Pwahaha! Lies! I can feel that disgusting energy radiating from your body, child. Don’t try to fool me. I’ve been alive for millions of years, my powers have grown in many ways since my birth, and my husband is among the strongest in the universe. I know that power when I see it, and I also know when people are lying."
If it wasn’t for the fact that Kai was upset and wanted to kill her, he would have cucked her husband.
"Please, Lady Luminera, have mercy," Frostina begged.
"You can leave. I have no business with you. But the boy stays." She demanded.
"T-Thank you, but I’m afraid I can’t allow you to harm him any more than you already have." Frostina was not about to be killed by Leo because she didn’t help Kai if he got killed.
"Oh? Are you defying me, little goddess?" Luminera’s power started to pressure both Kai and Frostina to the point where they were forced to their knees.
"Nngh! What an embarrassment!" Kai was speaking to himself. He had never been put in such a position before, other than the time when he fought his brother and Narwhal. He thought he was past that point, but it seems like he wasn’t.
"I was going to let you go, but since you’re being stubborn, I’ll just kill you as well." Luminera summoned a spear of golden light.
"W-Wait! H-He’s the son of the progenitor! Y-You can’t kill him!" Frostina shouted.
"What?!" Luminera deactivated her power and stared into Kai’s eyes.
"He’s so young, though. Not even a thousand years old. He’s not even a century old yet." She made Kai float and pulled him toward her.
"Tell me, why didn’t you tell me that you were the child of the progenitor?"
"Would you like me to put a sign on my chest that reads ’hey, I’m the son of Leo, you know, the guy who made the universe.’" Kai rolled his eyes.
"Hahahaha! You sound like my husband. He would say something like that." Luminera dropped Kai.
Kai dusted the snow off his body. "That’s it? Are we done fighting? Cause I can keep going."
"That’s enough, Kai." Leo appeared from out of nowhere, as usual.
"Ugh, what are you doing here?" Kai didn’t want Leo always coming to his rescue, except for the times when he would come to his rescue. Okay, he actually liked it, but he would never admit it.
"Saving you, man. You were getting your shit rocked! Haha! I recoeded the whole thing! I’ll show it to you later."
"I don’t wanna see that shit, man! You’d better delete it! And don’t show it to my girls!" Kai would beat Leo up if he did.
"Ah, come on, it’s not that bad. I mean, no offense, but what kind of idiot fights a cosmic goddess as a demigod? Like, bro, that’s common knowledge."
Kai didn’t know if his father was joking around or being serious. "Dude, I became a demigod like 6 months ago."
"This is not the Nemean I know of," Luminera said to Frostina.
"He’s...different when he’s with Kai." Frostina sighed.
"Anyway, it’s nice to see you again, Luminera. How’s Zion?" He asked
"It’s nice to see you again as well. And he’s doing fine. He’s currently on some planet called Noxos, one of Gaia’s planets. It was attacked by some weird alien that looks like lube." She informed him.
"Ah, the Láspi. One of Aion’s creations. Such horrible creatures. Well, I hope he’s handling it well. Those creatures can contend with deities after all."
"He’ll be fine." Luminera waved his concern off.
"What’s happening here? Who’s Zion? And what the fuck is a Láspi?" Kai was so lost.
"Remember the guy who was taken from the reincarnation cycle illegally?"
"Oh yeah, I remember you telling me about that." Kai nodded
"Well, this goddess right here is the one who did that." Leo pointed to Luminera.
"Hehe, sorry about that. I was desperate at the time."
"It’s okay. Also, she’s married to him. And don’t think about fighting him. He’s a Primordial. You’d lose in an instant."
Kai was starting to feel insignificant. "Sure."
"So, what brings you here, Luminera? I’m sure it wasn’t to say hi to me."
"Heh, I wish. But it’s more than that. My-nngh!" Luminera clutched her side where she was injured before, dropping to her knees.
"Kai, heal her."
"Fuck that. She—"
"Heal. Her." Leo’s voice was serious this time, with no hint of playfulness. It honestly scared Kai a bit.
"Alright." He walked over to Luminera and absorbed the Progenitor Decay in her body. The dark mark the Decay left on her body vanished, and Kai was able to heal her wound, but only slightly.
Her existence was higher than his own, so it was hard to heal her. Thankfully, she could heal herself, and once she did, she stood up to stretch.
"Mmmnnn~Ahhh! Woo! Thanks, little demigod."
"Kai." He grumbled.
"Sure. Anyway, as I was saying. My home planet was attacked by a man with a very ugly scar on his face."
