The Hero of Hypnosis-Chapter 456: No more crazy winter storms

Leo left, returning to Kai’s home on the Sarkylla continent. Or maybe he went back to the void room. Kai didn’t really know, nor did he care. Leo always popped in on him out of nowhere.

Kai could feel his strength surge like never before, godly energy pulsing through his body. But he knew it meant nothing as long as he was still a demigod.

He didn’t care about being the strongest; he never did. All he cared about was being stronger than he needed to be so he wouldn’t struggle in a fight or anything like that.

The feeling of getting stronger, pumping his points into his stats to become more powerful, was gone. Sure, he could still use his status window, but it was more for cosmetic purposes now, since he could do everything in his status window.

Still, Kai felt like he had lost a part of himself, his purpose. He was supposed to come to this world, grind points to be OP as hell, fuck all the girls he wanted, and repeat that over and over again. He wasn’t expecting to become a demigod.

After becoming a demigod, he sort of felt invincible. No one in the world could hurt or kill him. Sure, he would allow himself to be ’hurt’, but it wouldn’t really mean anything in the long run since he was invincible to mortal attacks.

While Leo wanted him to fix the mistakes that were made in the past, thanks to his poor parenting, Kai didn’t really care about that. But seeing as he has no choice in the matter, he just accepted.

He knew that someone like Narwhal or Aion’s Avatar could hurt him; the same went for Primordial Decay. He had never really encountered a god who could hurt him. Not even the gods of the planet could.

Sure, they were powerful, and yeah, they could chip away at his defenses, and when he first became a demigod, he was still weaker than them. But after absorbing so much Primordial Decay, he was above them now.

However, after fighting Luminera, Kai was in a state of confusion, shock, and disbelief. He knew that there were beings stronger than him, but to face one was a different story.

’I couldn’t do anything against her. I even blasted her with pure destruction in her face, and she wasn’t even injured in the slightest.’

When he finally made his way back to the expedition team, seeing Karumi toss the head of a giant like a baseball, he smiled.

"What’s good, everyone?! You all miss me?" Before he showed himself, Kai started to fly so that when he did reveal himself, he descended to the ground with his arms spread out like a badass.

"Kai! You’re back!" Karumi ran up to him, hugging him while all of her tails started wagging. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

"Aye, Sir Kai is back!"

"Did you see the way he arrived? So cool."

"If I’m cool like him, do you think I’ll get all the bitches?"

"The fact that you said ’bitches’ instead of girls or women already tells me what kind of loser you all."

"O-Oh."

"Besides, you’re ugly as hell."

"Damn, man. No need to hit him while he’s down."

"Your mom is literally a whore who fucked the entire royal guard, and your dad is one of the soldiers there. Shut up."

"B-Bastard!"

After hugging Kai, Karumi pulled back, sensing that he was a bit down. "Wanna talk about it?"

"Later. Let’s get back to the estate first. I wanna relax on my bed."

She nodded, agreeing with him.

"Alright, everyone." Kai clapped his hands, getting the attention of all the knights and mages.

"The chaotic weather and sicknesses you’ve been getting from this area are now gone. I’ve dealt with it. Monsters will still roam, which is normal, but everything should be fine now."

"Yeah!"

"Let’s Gooo!"

"You’re the greatest!"

After everyone praised Kai’s name and told him how awesome he was, he teleported them all back the the capital so they wouldn’t need to journey all the way back on foot. Well, horseback.

When they arrived, Kai headed straight to the estate and collapsed on his bed with Karumi lying beside him.

"I’m guessing you got beaten up."

"What gave that away?" Kai asked

"Your face is slightly swollen."

"Huh" Kai conjured a mirror to see his face, and yeah, it was slightly swollen.

"How the fuck does that happen? I was impaled with a spear of light, and that injury healed." Kai lifted his shirt and saw that he had a scar with a scab.

"What the fuck? I didn’t even fully heal from her attacks? Fuck me, man."

"Her?" Karumi raised an eyebrow."

"Yeah. A goddess crashlanded on this planet after getting injured by my brother. She’s the wife of one of my cousins or some shit like that. I don’t really know the family relationship I have with the guy."

"You were beaten by her? That’s surprising." Karumi thought that Kai was stronger than the gods because of his lineage.

"Yeah, well, the universe is vast, and I’m not, ha. She’s a cosmic goddess or something. Super strong. Also, she’s friends with Leo, or something. She wasn’t even scared that he was there. He was friendly with her. Normally, dieties get scared and shit when he arrives. But not her."

"Wow. Now I understand why you didn’t want me there. That could have been dangerous, especially since you weren’t even able to protect yourself."

"H-Hey. I was able to fight her off perfectly fine. I got in some good blows and even made her actually try, sort of."

"Who won, though?" Karumi smirked, tapping his nose.

"You’re a mean fox, you know that?"

"I’m your mean fox."

Kai sighed. "The craziest thing was that even if I did beat her, she was in a weakened state. Also, two more goddesses came, and if they wanted to, they could beat my ass. It’s pretty scary to think about."

"Well, this means you have to get stronger, right?"

Kai nodded. "Yeah. Honestly, I was feeling a bit down, but now, I’m pumped! I want to get strong as fuck and show those cosmic gods that I’m not to be messed with!"
